An Affine Scaling Interior Trust Region Method via Optimal Path for Solving Monotone Variational Inequality Problem with Linear Constraints

Based on a differentiable merit function proposed by Taji et al. in ＂Math. Prog. Stud., 58, 1993, 369-383＂, the authors propose an affine scaling interior trust region strategy via optimal path to modify Newton method for the strictly monotone variational inequality problem subject to linear equality and inequality constraints. By using the eigensystem decomposition and affine scaling mapping, the authors form an affine scaling optimal curvilinear path very easily in order to approximately solve the trust region subproblem. Theoretical analysis is given which shows that the proposed algorithm is globally convergent and has a local quadratic convergence rate under some reasonable conditions.     

BIOLUMINESCENCE TOMOGRAPHY： BIOMEDICAL BACKGROUND,MATHEMATICAL THEORY,AND NUMERICAL APPROXIMATION

Over the last couple of years molecular imaging has been rapidly developed to study physiological and pathological processes in vivo at the cellular and molecular levels. Among molecular imaging modalities, optical imaging stands out for its unique advantages, especially performance and cost-effectiveness. Bioluminescence tomography （BLT） is an emerging optical imaging mode with promising biomedical advantages. In this survey paper, we explain the biomedical significance of BLT, summarize theoretical results on the analysis and numerical solution of a diffusion based BLT model, and comment on a few extensions for the study of BLT.

线性流形上矩阵方程B^TXB=D的加权最小二乘对称解和解的最佳逼近

本文利用矩阵的奇异值分解（SVD）,给出了在一流形上矩阵方程B^TXB=D的加权最小二乘对称解的通解表达式,并解决了加权最小二乘对称解的最佳逼近问题。     

赋$\beta$-范空间中的最佳逼近问题

本文讨论赋$\beta$-范空间中的最佳逼近问题.以[1]引进的共轭锥为工具,借助[2]中关于$\beta$-次半范的Hahn-Banach延拓定理,第二节给出赋$\beta$-范空间的闭子空间中最佳逼近元的特征,第三节得到赋$\beta$-范空间中任何凸子集或子空间均为半Chebyshev集的充要条件是空间本身严格凸,文章最后证明了严格凸的赋$\beta$-范空间中任何有限维子空间都是Chebyshev集.     

关于Kantorovic^∨多项式逼近的注记

本文对著名Ｋａｎｔｏｒｏｖｉｃ＾∨多项式ｐｎ（ｆ；ｘ）作了进一步的研究，并改进了参考文献「１－４」的结果，还指出「４」的一个错误。     

复曲线上的Jackson型定理

令$\Ga$是复平面(z)中的光滑闭Jordan曲线. 作者借助于Hermite插值的基多项式, 引入连续函数插值, 它一致收敛于$f(z)\in C(\Ga)$,且具有和实区间$[-1, 1]$上Jackson定理1中一样的逼近阶, 并证明了这里逼近阶的精确性. 利用和以往工作不同的方法, 研究了同时逼近到函数及其导数, 并得到和实区间$[-1, 1]$上Jackson定理2一样的理想结果.     

联合最佳逼近

本文研究了二元函数用紧Hausdorff空间上的连续函数集的联合逼近问题,建立了包括特征定理、唯一性定理、强唯一性定理和dela Vallée Poussin定理在内的Chebyshev逼近理论。给出了求解最佳逼近元的Remes型第一算法和两种一般的简化方法。     

抛物问题的mortar有限元逼近的瀑布型多重网格法

用瀑布型多重网格法解决椭圆、抛物问题，已有不少研究工作[1-2]，本文对抛物问题的mortar有限元的全离散格式提出瀑布型多重网格法，证明了该方法是最优的，即具有最优精确度和复杂度．
