LOCATION OF THE BLOW UP POINT FOR POSITIVE SOLUTIONS OF A BIHARMONIC EQUATION INVOLVING NEARLY CRITICAL EXPONENT

In this paper a semilinear biharmonic problem involving nearly critical growth with Navier boundary condition is considered on an any bounded smooth domain. It is proved that positive solutions concentrate on a point in the domain, which is also a critical point of the Robin‘s function corresponding to the Green‘s function of biharmonic operator with the same boundary condition. Similar conclusion has been obtained in [6] under the condition that the domain is strictly convex.     

New Types of Exact Solutions for （N＋1）-Dimensional φ^4 Model

New types of exact solutions of the （N ＋ 1）-dimensional φ^4-model are studied in detail. Some types of interaction solutions such as the periodic-periodic interaction waves and the periodic-solitary wave interaction solutions are found.     

Boussinesq方程的扩展对称约化和新的相似解

将Simon Hood最近提出的扩展Clarkson和Kruskal (CK)方法，推广并应用于Boussinesq方程，得到了该方程的若干新的约化和相似解。该方法也适用于其他有重要物理背景的非线性演化方程。     

ON THE PRODUCT OF GATEAUX DIFFERENTIABILITY LOCALLY CONVEX SPACES

A locally convex space is said to be a Gâteaux differentiability space (GDS) provided every continuous convex function defined on a nonempty convex open subset D of the space is densely Gâteaux differentiable in D. This paper shows that the product of a GDS and a family of separable Fréchet spaces is a GDS, and that the product of a GDS and an arbitrary locally convex space endowed with the weak topology is a GDS.     

An Improvement of the Asymptotic Iteration Method for Exactly Solvable Eigenvalue Problems

We derive a formula that simplifies the original asymptotic iteration method formulation to find the energy eigenvalues for the analytically solvable cases. We then show that there is a connection between the asymptotic iteration and the Nikiforo-Uvarov methods, which both solve the second order linear ordinary differential equations analytically.     

Global vector-field reconstruction of nonlinear dynamical systems from a time series with SVD method and validation with Lyapunov exponents

A method for the global vector-field reconstruction of nonlinear dynamical systems from a time series is studied in this paper. It employs a complete set of polynomials and singular value decomposition (SVD) to estimate a standard function which is certtral to the algorithm. Lyapunov exponents and dimension, calculated from the differential equations of a standard system, are used for the validation of the reconstruction. The algorithm is proven to be practical by applying it to a Roessler system.     

Velocity-dependent symmetries and conserved quantities of the constrained dynamical systems

In this paper, we have extefided the theorem of the velocity-dependent symmetries to nonholonomic dynamical systems. Based on the infinitesimal transformations with respect to the coordinates, we establish the determining equations and restrictive equation of the velocity-dependent system before the structure equation is obtained. The direct and the inverse issues of the velocity-dependent symmetries for the nonholonomic dynamical system is studied and the non-Noether type conserved quantity is found as the result. Finally, we give an example to illustrate the conclusion.
