RADIATION BOUNDARY CONDITIONS FOR MAXWELL＇S EQUATIONS： A REVIEW OF ACCURATE TIME-DOMAIN FORMULATIONS

We review time-domain formulations of radiation boundary conditions for Maxwell＇s equations, focusing on methods which can deliver arbitrary accuracy at acceptable compu-tational cost. Examples include fast evaluations of nonlocal conditions on symmetric and general boundaries, methods based on identifying and evaluating equivalent sources, and local approximations such as the perfectly matched layer and sequences of local boundary conditions. Complexity estimates are derived to assess work and storage requirements as a function of wavelength and simulation time.

LOCALLY STABILIZED FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR STOKES PROBLEM WITH NONLINEAR SLIP BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

Based on the low-order conforming finite element subspace （Vh, Mh） such as the P1-P0 triangle element or the Q1-P0 quadrilateral element, the locally stabilized finite element method for the Stokes problem with nonlinear slip boundary conditions is investigated in this paper. For this class of nonlinear slip boundary conditions including the subdifferential property, the weak variational formulation associated with the Stokes problem is an variational inequality. Since （Vh, Mh） does not satisfy the discrete inf-sup conditions, a macroelement condition is introduced for constructing the locally stabilized formulation such that the stability of （Vh, Mh） is established. Under these conditions, we obtain the H1 and L2 error estimates for the numerical solutions.     

ON THE EXPECTED DISCOUNTED PENALTY FUNCTION IN A MARKOV-DEPENDENT RISK MODEL WITH CONSTANT DIVIDEND BARRIER

This article considers a Markov-dependent risk model with a constant dividend barrier. A system of integro-differential equations with boundary conditions satisfied by the expected discounted penalty function, with given initial environment state, is derived and solved. Explicit formulas for the discounted penalty function are obtained when the initial surplus is zero or when all the claim amount distributions are from rational family. In two state model, numerical illustrations with exponential claim amounts are given.     

FURTHER INVESTIGATION OF THE VOLTERRALOTKA COMPETITION MODEL WITH DIFFUSION

In this paper, tile existence of coexistence states in the Voterra-Lotka competition model under Dirichlet boundary conditions is the major concern. Attention will be focused on the logistic equation. With a comparison theorem an inequality satistisfied by the solution of logistic equation is established. Some improved sufficient conditions for the existence of coexistence states are obtained.     

Some Notes on Reaction Diffusion Systems with Nonlinear Boundary Conditions

This paper deals with the existence and nonexistence of global positive solution to a semilinear reaction-diffusion system with nonlinear boundary conditions.For the heat diffusion case,the necessary and sufficient conditions on the global existence of all positive solutions are obtained.For the general fast diffusion case,we get some conditions on the global existence and nonexistence of positive solutions.The results of this paper fill the some gaps which were left in this field.     

周期性边界条件下多孔介质方腔内自然对流换热数值研究

对充满多孔介质的倾斜方腔,在其上下壁面绝热、右侧壁面维持恒温To及左侧壁面温度基于To随时间按正弦规律变化的情况下,采用Brinkman扩展达西模型和SIMPLER算法对方腔内的自然对流与换热进行了非稳态数值模拟,方腔倾角α的范围为0°～90°,Pr数为1,Ra数为106.计算研究不同的振荡频率和方腔倾角对方腔内对流换热的影响.数值模拟结果表明:振荡频率f为60π,方腔倾角为43°时,方腔内的换热最强.     

单量子双能级系统和双态系统关联函数的研究

以具有简单三能级结构染料分子的单量子系统为研究对象,用带有边界条件的速率方程来反映低功率单色连续激光激励下单分子发射荧光的动力学过程.该方法可以通过时间分辨光子探测获得处理单分子动力学随机过程.研究给出了一种通过求解反映单量子系统动力学过程的物理量——延迟函数计算关联函数的方法,并给出了双能级系统和双态系统延迟函数和关联函数的具体表达式.研究表明,在实际测量中只要获得关联函数曲线,就可以通过数据拟合计算出分子跃迁的动力学参量.     

Generalized Dirichlet Normal Ordering in Open Bosonic Strings

Generally, open string boundary conditions play a nontrivial role in string theory. For example, in the presence of an antisymmetric tensor background field, they will lead the spacetime coordinates noncommutative. In this paper, we mainly discuss how to build up a generalized Dirichlet normal ordered product of open bosonic string embedding operators that satisfies both the equations of motion and the generalized Dirichlet boundary conditions at the quantum level in the presence of an antisymmetric background field, as the generalized Neumann case has already been discussed in the literature. Further, we also give a brief check of the consistency of the theory under the newly introduced normal ordering.

利用上下解方法,不动点理论研究奇异微分方程u" f(t,u)=0,t∈(0,1)在边界条件au(0)-βu'(0)=0,γu(1) δu'(1)=0下C[0,1]正解和C1[0,1]正解的存在性与唯一性.其中非线性项f(t,u)关于u是减的,仅满足较弱的要求.
