A formulation of an implicit characteristic-flux-averaging method for the unsteady Euler equations with real gas effects is presented. Incorporation of a real gas into a general equation of state is achieved by considering the pressure as a function of density and specific internal energy. The Ricmann solver as well as the flux-split algorithm are modified by introducing the pressure derivatives with respect to density and internal energy. Expressions for calculating the values of the flow variables for a real gas at the cell faces are derived. The Jacobian matrices and the eigenvectors are defined for a general equation of state. The solution of the system of equations is obtained by using a mesh-sequencing method for acceleration of the convergence. Finally, a test case for a simple form of equation of state displays the differences from the corresponding solution for an ideal gas.  相似文献

We provide a classification of type AI topological quantum systems in dimension d=1,2,3,4 which is based on the equivariant homotopy properties of “Real” vector bundles. This allows us to produce a fine classification able to take care also of the non stable regime which is usually not accessible via K-theoretic techniques. We prove the absence of non-trivial phases for one-band AI free or periodic quantum particle systems in each spatial dimension by inspecting the second equivariant cohomology group which classifies “Real” line bundles. We also show that the classification of “Real” line bundles suffices for the complete classification of AI topological quantum systems in dimension d3. In dimension d=4 the determination of different topological phases (for free or periodic systems) is fixed by the second “Real” Chern class which provides an even labeling identifiable with the degree of a suitable map. Finally, we provide explicit realizations of non trivial 4-dimensional free models for each given topological degree.  相似文献

Most of the recent literature dealing with the modeling of financial assets assumes that the underlying dynamics of equity prices follow a jump process or a Lévy process. This is done to incorporate rare or extreme events not captured by Gaussian models. Of those financial models proposed, the most interesting include the CGMY, KoBoL and FMLS. All of these capture some of the most important characteristics of the dynamics of stock prices. In this article we show that for these particular Lévy processes, the prices of financial derivatives, such as European-style options, satisfy a fractional partial differential equation (FPDE). As an application, we use numerical techniques to price exotic options, in particular barrier options, by solving the corresponding FPDEs derived.  相似文献

A real time nondestructive temperature measurement technique based on laser holographic interference tomography technique is presented. An He–Ne laser is used as light source, and a CCD video camera is used to grab the interferogram. This laser holographic tomography technique is applied to the measurement of the temperature fields generated by two heated rods. Since data error is inevitable in engineering measurement, it is necessary to study the reconstruction techniques for reconstructing the temperature field. Three techniques including convolution back projection (CBP), algebra reconstruction technique (ART) and simultaneous iterative reconstruction technique (SIRT) are studied. Based on the reconstruction techniques and experimental situation, ART is used to reconstruct the asymmetric temperature fields. The thermocouples are used to measure the temperatures of the two heated rods. Comparing the reconstructed result with the measured temperature value, a satisfactory result is obtained.  相似文献

. Molecular matrix elements of a physical operator are expanded in terms of polycentric matrix elements in the atomic basis by multiplying each by a geometrical factor. The number of terms in the expansion can be minimized by using molecular symmetry. We have shown that irreducible tensor operators can be used to imitate the actual physical operators. The matrix elements of irreducible tensor operators are easily computed by choosing rational irreducible tensor operators and irreducible bases. A set of geometrical factors generated from the expansion of the matrix elements of irreducible tensor operator can be transferred to the expansion of the matrix elements of the physical operator to compute the molecular matrix elements of the physical operator. Two scalar product operators are employed to simulate molecular two-particle operators. Thus two equivalent approaches to generating the geometrical factors are provided, where real irreducible tensor sets with real bases are used. The (13E,19E)-N1′,N3′-bis[4-(diethylamino)-2-hydroxybenzylidene]malonohydrazide (L) has been developed for the detection of Th4+ ions using dual channel signalling system. The UV–vis absorbance and fluorescence spectroscopic data revealed the formation of L–Th4+ complex in 1:1 equilibrium. The density functional theory (DFT) also confirms the optimum binding cavity for the recognition of metal ion. The binding constant computed from different mathematical models for an assembly of L–Th4+. The detection limit of L for Th4+ recognition is to a concentration down to 0.1 μM (0.023 μg g−1). The present sensing system is also successfully applied for the detection of Th4+ ion present in soil near nuclear atomic plants.  相似文献

When developing any simulation model some compromise must be made between computational efficiency and the accuracy of the model. This study compares the performance of three ideal gas (IG) law variations (IG with the energy equation (EE), isothermal and adiabatic), and two real gas approaches (Benedict Webb Rubin (BWR) equation with and without the EE) to model the spring force of a hydropneumatic suspension. These models are compared with experimental data obtained from laboratory tests on a single hydropneumatic suspension unit. Both the BWR and IG models with the EE offer a significant improvement in correlation compared to the models without the EE. The real gas BWR approach offers a small improvement over the IG approach under the test conditions. The best (BWR with EE) and worst (IG isothermal) models are then used to model the spring forces in a full vehicle model of a 4 × 4 Sports Utility vehicle (SUV). The data is again compared with experimental results and the BWR model with the EE correlates significantly better than the IG isothermal model. It is thus concluded that the inclusion of the EE will yield significantly better results and it should only be omitted if the parameters investigated are not sensitive to errors in the spring model.  相似文献
