In this paper, we investigate the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following function equation 2f（2x ＋ y） ＋ 2f（2x - y） = 4f（x ＋ y） ＋ 4f（x - y） ＋ 4f（2x） ＋ f（2y） - Sf（x） - 8f（y） in quasi-β-normed spaces.

比利时皇家自然科学研究院（Royal Institute of Natural Sciences）的朗博特（Olivier Lambert）博士最近在秘鲁发现已经灭绝的巨大抹香鲸的下颌和牙齿化石,它们足以捕食不小于自身一半的猎物。     

海尔—波普彗星旋喷流结构的数值模拟

根据19897年3月至5月在上海天文台观测到的海尔－波普彗星的旋喷流观测资料，利用Monte Carlo方法对旋喷流结构的形成进行了数值模拟，模拟结果较好地再现了观测到的旋喷流形态。

Stability of Cubic Functional Equation in Three Variables

In this paper, we prove a generalization of Hyers＇ theorem on the sta- bility of approximately additive mapping and a generalization of Badora＇s theorem on approximate ring homomorphism. We also obtain more general stability theorem, which gives stability theorems on Jordan and Lie homomorphisms. The proofs of the theorems in this paper are given following essentially the Hyers-Rassias approach to the stability of the functional equations connected with Ulam＇s problem.
