The La2W2−xMoxO9 series has been synthesized by the ceramic method. An alternative synthesis using microwave radiation is also reported. La2W2O9 has two polymorphs and the low-temperature phase (α) transforms to the high-temperature form (β) at 1077°C. The influence of the W/Mo substitution in this phase transition has been investigated by DTA. The β structure for x≥0.7 compositions can be prepared as single phase at any cooling rate. The β phase for 0.3≤x≤0.7 compounds can be prepared as single phase by quenching, whereas a mixture of α and β phases is obtained by slow cooling. The W/Mo ratio in both coexisting phases is different with the β-phase having a higher Mo content. The x=0.1 and 0.2 compounds have been prepared as mixtures of phases. The room temperature structure of β-La2W1.7Mo0.3O9 has been analyzed by the Rietveld method in P213 space group. The final R-factors were RWP=9.0% and RF=5.6% with a structure similar to that of β-La2Mo2O9. Finally, the thermal expansion of both types of structures has been determined from a thermodiffractometric study. The thermal expansion coefficients were 2.9×10−6 and 9.7×10−6°C−1 for α-La2W2O9 and β-La2W1.2Mo0.8O9, respectively.  相似文献

Isomeric structures and energies of three kinds of lithofluorosilylenoids, R2SiLiF (R = NH2, OH, F) were studied using theab initio molecular orbital theory. The calculations show that thermal stability of the three-membered ring structures of these three kinds of silylenoids decreases in the order of substituents NH2 > OH > F because of the conjugation between NH2, OH or F and Si atom. The interaction of substituents R with Li atom makes R2SiLiF have a structure with two Li-A-Si-F (A = N, O, F) four-membered rings, which is the most stable of the isomers of each of three kinds of silylenoids and whose stability decreases in the order of substituents F > OH > NH2. Inductive effect of substituents influences the thermal stability of the linear structure of silylenoids.  相似文献

对用调制差热分析(MDTA)准恒温法测样品热容量的情形进行了讨论。通过结合最基本的热传导定律和MDTA模型,指出了目前国际上测量样品热容量的准恒温法只能得到在所测温度范围内的物质热容量平均值,调制温度的幅度越大或调制频率越高,所得到的热容量数据越平滑。在所测温度范围内样品热容量基本不变时,用MDTA准恒温法较好;但当样品热容量在所测温度范围内有明显变化时,用传统差热分析法(DTA)更好一些。  相似文献

The research in thermal analysis and calorimetry, conducted by the author over the period 1964 to 1993, is summarised and concisely reviewed. The major investigations have focussed on thermal analysis studies of coordination compounds, particularly the metal dithiocarbamate complexes. A significant solution calorimetric study of some metal dithiocarbamate complexes has also been undertaken. DSC has been applied to determine the sublimation enthalpies of many metal dithiocarbamate and metal pentane-2,4-dionate complexes and solution calorimetry has been applied to study the thermochemistry of the latter group of complexes. Thermal analysis investigations of several inorganic molten salt systems have been initiated. Thermometric titrimetry has been applied to study metal-macrocyclic ligand systems in aqueous media and particularly those systems of environmental significance. Temperature calibration standards for TMA have been proposed and TMA has been applied to study the mechanical properties of several common inorganic compounds. DTA has been applied to study a wide variety of phenols and has subsequently been applied as an analytical technique to determine the components of solid state phenol mixtures. Thermometric titrimetry has been applied to determine the phenolic content of wines. A comprehensive thermal analysis study of Australian brown coal has been undertaken, involving the DSC determination of coal specific energy, a TG/DTA study of the coal pyrolysis and combustion processes and a TG/DTA and EGA study of the cation catalytic effect on the coal pyrolysis process. Thermal analysis and calorimetric techniques have been extensively publicised and promoted by the publication of specialist reviews, the presentation of symposia review papers and the oral presentation of short courses, particularly in the SE Asian region. This review essentially reveals the diversity of possible application of thermal analysis and calorimetric techniques and the primary significance of thermodynamic data in the fundamental rationalisation of chemical phenomena.  相似文献

The mineral sabugalite (HAl)0.5[(UO2)2(PO4)]2⋅8H2O, has been studied using a combination of energy dispersive X-ray analysis, X-ray diffraction, dynamic and controlled rate thermal analysis techniques. X-ray diffraction shows that the starting material in the thermal decomposition is sabugalite and the product of the thermal treatment is a mixture of aluminium and uranyl phosphates. Four mass loss steps are observed for the dehydration of sabugalite at 48°C (temperature range 39 to 59°C), 84°C (temperature range 59 to 109°C), 127°C (temperature range 109 to 165°C) and around 270°C (temperature range 175 to 525°C) with mass losses of 2.8, 6.5, 2.3 and 4.4%, respectively, making a total mass loss of water of 16.0%. In the CRTA experiment mass loss stages were found at 60, 97, 140 and 270°C which correspond to four dehydration steps involving the loss of 2, 6, 6 and 2 moles of water. These mass losses result in the formation of four phases namely meta(I)sabugalite, meta(II)sabugalite, meta(III)sabugalite and finally uranyl phosphate and alumina phosphates. The use of a combination of dynamic and controlled rate thermal analysis techniques enabled a definitive study of the thermal decomposition of sabugalite. While the temperature ranges and the mass losses vary due to the different experimental conditions, the results of the CRTA analysis should be considered as standard data due to the quasi-equilibrium nature of the thermal decomposition process. Dried samples of polyacrylamide in an He atmosphere have been subjected to thermogravimetric analysis in the 30–600°C range, and the evolved gases were monitored by FTIR. Water, ammonia, and small quantities of carbon dioxide are released in the first stages of decomposition (220–340°C), where the polymer chains remain intact and the reaction occurs on the pendant amide groups. In the second stage of decomposition (340–440°C), the majority of the weight loss occurs, and main chain breakdown occurs, releasing carbon dioxide, water, nitrile compounds, and imides. Trapping of the gases in this stage and analysis by GC–FTIR and GC–MS reveals the presence of more than 20 decomposition products, and confirms that a large proportion of these can be assigned to glutarimide and its substituted analogs. Imidization and dehydration reactions on the amide groups, as well as free radical breakdown of the main chains, with inter- and intramolecular hydrogen transfer, can account for many of the products of the decomposition. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A catalytic action of the mechanochemical products of copper hydroxocarbonate with calcium carbonate was investigated in n-butyl alcohol oxidation tests. The solid products of high-energy milling were identified using thermogravimetry supplemented by X-ray diffraction method. It was shown that the mechanical activation induces more effective tested catalyst because it promotes the alcohol conversion at lower temperatures than that unmilled one. 以柠檬酸-硝酸盐自蔓延燃烧法合成了ABO3型钙钛矿结构的Pr0.6-xNdxSr0.4FeO3-δ(x=0.0~0.6)系列稀土复合氧化物粉体。利用傅立叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)和激光共焦拉曼光谱(LRS)对产物的晶体结构进行了表征。分别采用热膨胀仪测定烧结陶瓷体的热膨胀系数(TEC);TG-DTA记录材料的热稳定性;XRD研究阴极材料与中温电解质Sm0.2Ce0.8O1.9(SDC)及La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-δ(LSGM)的化学相容性;SEM观察阴极/电解质复合材料的断口形貌。结果表明,该系列样品在高、低温热循环过程中化学稳定、晶型稳定;在室温至1 100 ℃范围内的平均热膨胀系数为1.16 × 10-5 K-1,与SDC及LSGM的热膨胀系数十分接近。阴极/电解质混合粉体1 200 ℃煅烧10 h,XRD未检测到新物质;SEM显示复合层断面界面清晰,没有相互扩散现象。该体系有望成为以SDC或LSGM为电解质的中温固体氧化物燃料电池合适的阴极材料。  相似文献

Detailed differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), steady-state tryptophan fluorescence and far-UV circular dichroism (CD) studies, together with enzymatic assays, were carried out to monitor the thermal stability of anionic peanut peroxidase (aPrx) at pH 3.0. The spectral parameters were seen to be good complements to the highly sensitive but integral method of DSC. Thus, changes in far-UV CD corresponded to changes in the overall secondary structure of the enzyme, while changes in intrinsic tryptophan fluorescence emission corresponded to changes in the tertiary structure of the enzyme. The results, supported with data concerning changes in enzymatic activity with temperature, show that thermally induced transitions for aPrx are irreversible and strongly dependent upon the scan rate, suggesting that denaturation is under kinetic control. It is shown that the process of aPrx denaturation can be interpreted with sufficient accuracy in terms of the simple kinetic scheme, , where k is a first-order kinetic constant that changes with temperature, as given by the Arrhenius equation; N is the native state, and D is the denatured state. On the basis of this model, the parameters of the Arrhenius equation were calculated.  相似文献

Phase transition behavior of polyesters derived from 2,7-phenanthrene dicarbonic acid diethylester and alkanediols with even methylene carbon number was investigated by the simultaneous DSC-XRD method. The smectic A phase was observed on cooling from the molten state. The transition entropy from the isotropic state to the smectic A phase was about 9.0 J mol-1 K-1, which depended on the methylene carbon number. The linear expansion coefficients, based on the (001) spacing of the crystalline phase at room temperature, were 1.3·10-4 K-1 (crystalline phase), 5.7·10-4 K-1 (crystallization region), 1.7·10-3 K-1 (smectic A phase) during cooling, and 1.5·10-4 K-1 (crystalline phase), and 1.0·10-3K-1(melting region) on heating.
