The design of hermetically double-coated optical fibers to minimize hydrostatic pressure-induced stresses is investigated. Several stresses are important in the hermetically double-coated optical fibers, and they would produce the excess bending losses or the failure of hermetic coatings. These stresses can be minimized by appropriately selecting material's properties of hermetic coatings and their thicknesses. The hydrostatic pressure-induced stresses in optical fibers with some selected metallic coatings are also considered. The results show that chromium has the best performance in the minimization of hydrostatic pressure-induced stresses. However, lead and indium are poor materials.  相似文献

Mean and fluctuating wall shear stress is measured in strongly disrupted cases generated by various low-porosity wall-mounted single- and multi-scale fences. These grids generate a highly turbulent wake which interacts with the wall-bounded flow modifying the wall shear stress properties. Measurement methods are validated first against a naturally growing zero pressure gradient turbulent boundary layer showing accuracies of 1% and 4% for extrapolation and direct measurement of the mean shear stress respectively. Uncertainty associated with the root mean square level of the fluctuations is better than 2% making it possible to measure small variations originating from the different fences. Additionally, probability density functions and spectra are also measured providing further insight into the flow physics. Measurement of shear stress in the disrupted cases (grid+TBL) suggest that the flow characteristics and turbulence mechanisms remain unaltered far from the grid even in the most disrupted cases. However, a different root mean square level of the fluctuations is found for different grids. Study of the probability density functions seem to imply that there are different degrees of interaction between the inner and outer regions of the flow.  相似文献

Shock waves in high-speed flows can drastically alter the nature of Reynolds stresses in a turbulent flow. We study the canonical interaction of homogeneous isotropic turbulence passing through a normal shock, where the shock wave generates significant anisotropy of Reynolds stresses. Existing Reynolds stress models are applied to this canonical problem to predict the amplification of the stream-wise and transverse normal Reynolds stresses across the shock wave. In particular, the efficacy of the different models for the rapid pressure–strain correlation is evaluated by comparing the results with available direct numerical simulation (DNS) data. The model predictions are found to be grossly inaccurate, especially at high-Mach numbers. We propose physics-based improvement to the Reynolds stress-transport equation in the form of shock-unsteadiness effect and enstrophy amplification for turbulent dissipation rate . The resulting model is found to capture the essential physics of Reynolds stress amplification, and match DNS data for a range of Mach numbers. Numerical error encountered at shock waves are also analysed and the model equations are cast in conservative form to obtain physically consistent results with successive grid refinement. Finally, the proposed model for canonical shock-turbulence interaction is generalised to multi-dimensional flows with shock of arbitrary orientation.  相似文献

O3‐NaFe1/2Co1/2O2 shows initial capacity of 160 mAh/g and an average operating voltage of 3.1 V (vs. Na) with good cyclability, and is a promising candidate of the cathode materials for sodium‐ion secondary batteries (SIBs). Here, we found that the cyclability of the slowly‐cooled sample is much worse than that of quenched one, even though the former sample keeps the O3‐type structure. The energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX) images suggest that the slow‐cooled sample (Nax Fe1–yCoy O2) is inhomogeneous in the Fe concentration (1 – y), perhaps triggered by the Na deficiency (1 – x). We ascribed the poor cyclability in the slowly‐cooled sample to the concentration inhomogeneity (Δy). To gain a physical insight into the radiation effect on nanowires(NWs), the time resolved photoluminescence(TRPL)technique is used to investigate the carrier dynamic behaviors in GaAs/AlGaAs core–shell NWs before and after 1-MeV proton irradiation with fluences ranging from 1.0 × 10~(12) cm~(-2) to 3.0 × 10~(13) cm~(-2). It is found that the degradations of spectral peak intensity and minority carrier lifetime show similar trends against irradiation fluence, which is closely related to the displacement defects induced by irradiation. We also find that the proton irradiation-induced defects behave as Shockley–Read–Hall(SRH) recombination center trapping free carriers. Finally, the defect concentration could be estimated through measuring the minority carrier lifetime.  相似文献

利用多光束激光输出耦合叠加是一种提高激光器输出功率的有效方法。采用两束矩形激光对准系统,分析两光束不同对准情况下的焦斑特性。完全对准的情况下,两束光的远场焦斑重合在一起,焦斑能量是两光束能量之和。在实际光束对准系统中,讨论了三种常见的对准误差,并比较了这些误差对焦斑特性的影响。利用ZEMAX软件对设计系统进行了模拟分析,并进行了实验验证。结果表明,元件的位置误差会使远场焦斑能量集中度降低,焦斑半径增大。  相似文献

采用高温固相法制备了LiSrBO3:xEu3+ 荧光粉, 并通过XRD, 红外(FITR) 和荧光光谱(PL) 等对其表征. 结果表明, LiSrBO3: Eu3+ 荧光粉可被波长为395 nm 的紫外线和466 nm 的蓝光有效激发, 且发射主波长为612 nm (Eu3+的电偶极跃迁5D07F2) 的红光. 研究了Eu3+ 掺杂浓度对LiSrBO3: Eu3+ 材料发光强度的影响, Eu3+ 掺杂浓度为6% 时样品的发射强度最大, 并且证实Eu3+ 之间的能量传递机制为电偶极子- 电偶极子相互作用. Li+, Na+, K+ 作为电荷补偿剂的引入全部导致LiSrBO3: Eu3+ 材料发射强度增强, 其中, Li+ 的引入要优于Na+ 和K+. 少量Al3+的掺杂降低了Eu3+ 所处格位的对称性, 增强了Eu3+ 的612 nm 的电偶极发射, 改善了LiSrBO3: Eu3+ 红色材料的色纯度. 关键词: 白光发光二级管 光致发光 浓度猝灭 电荷补偿剂  相似文献

阐述基于Mie散射理论和激光技术而研制的云粒子探测仪的相关问题。利用m量级的小孔光阑模拟感应区域的散射光,并对系统的探测敏感区域面积进行测定;通过使用不同直径的标准粒子对系统进行标定,得到可靠的响应曲线,用于定量测量云粒子尺度谱及粒子数密度。在进行了一系列实验室内的实验之后,将仪器装载在飞机上进行穿云飞行测量实验,表明了该仪器在飞行过程中工作正常、稳定,并且能够即时地显示采样区内云粒子尺度谱分布和数浓度;通过分析探测得到的数据,并与云粒子谱分布进行比较,确认了探测数据有效可靠,反映了该仪器具有良好的测云能力。  相似文献

经由偏振无关的光学分束器实现对未知两光子部分纠缠态的纠缠浓缩,包括利用单光子探测器的线性光学浓缩方案,和利用弱交叉Kerr非线性媒质、零拍探测的浓缩方案。两对部分纠缠的光子对中各一个信号光子同时通过偏振无关分束器后,当探测到分束器输出模中各有一个光子时,剩余的两光子将处于最大纠缠态。与以前的浓缩方案相比较,我们的浓缩方案不需要额外的Hadmard门对信号光子施加作用,所需要的光学器件较少,这增加了方案在实验实现上的可行性。  相似文献
