Abstract

The top part of the coexistence curve of methyl fluoride in the critical region has been determined first by direct observation of the disappearance of the meniscus of the fluid situated in a high-pressure light scattering cell and subsequently from the measured maximum depolarization ratio of an appreciable number of isochores close to the critical point. The experimental data obtained from direct observations yield a coexistence curve which nearly coincides with that found recently from pVT measurements. However, the data obtained from light scattering experiments describe a gravity induced coexistence curve which lies above the previous one and which shows a minimum at the critical point. The complete experimental data have been used to evaluate the critical parameters pc, ρc and Tc and the critical exponent β.  相似文献

TL materials have a small intrinsic sensitivity for fast neutrons. In order to increase this sensitivity one uses hydrogen containing radiators giving recoil protons as a result of the neutron interaction. By combining the proton radiator technique with the use of TL detectors having various glow peaks with a different response to recoil protons an additional sensitivity yield can be reached. The paper deals with the calculation procedure for the (radiator) sensitivity component. For the LiF phosphors TLD-600 and TLD-700 calculated and experimentally determined fast neutron sensitivities are presented for the glow peaks V and VII. The results show that for accident dosimetry a sufficient agreement of the dedector response with the dose-to-fluence conversion factors is obtained.  相似文献

We present the next step in an ongoing research program to allow for the black-box computation of the so-called finite-genus solutions of integrable differential equations. This next step consists of the black-box computation of the Abel map from a Riemann surface to its Jacobian. Using a plane algebraic curve representation of the Riemann surface, we provide an algorithm for the numerical computation of this Abel map. Since our plane algebraic curves are of arbitrary degree and may have arbitrary singularities, the Abel map of any connected compact Riemann surface may be obtained in this way. This generality is necessary in order for these algorithms to be relevant for the computation of the finite-genus solutions of any integrable equation.  相似文献

 以磁绝缘传输线振荡器(MILO)中次级电子倍增效应物理图像为基础,对MILO中发生次级电子倍增效应的各阶共振模进行了计算和分析。结果表明:与基阶共振模相比,高阶共振模发生次级电子倍增效应的敏感区域要小得多,对次级电子倍增效应起主要作用的是基阶共振模;减小或抑制次级电子倍增效应,主要应考虑控制基阶共振模的电子倍增作用。  相似文献

In this article we report an expression for the thermoluminescence light, which is derived from the set of differential equations by assuming negligible retrapping, but without resorting to the quasi-equilibrium approximation. The molecular structures and spectroscopic constants of the ground electronic states of LiCl? and LiBr? are investigated with the coupled-cluster method. To improve the accuracy of our calculations, we have employed the extrapolation schemes as well as corrections of the core–valence correlation and scalar relativistic effect. The equilibrium parameters, potential energy curves, force constants, vibrational energy levels and spectroscopic parameters of both molecular ions are derived, in which those of LiBr? are reported for the first time. The electron affinities and vertical detachment energies of neutral and anionic LiCl and LiBr are also evaluated.  相似文献

The unsaturable trap model, which attributes the increase of the electrical resistivity of fcc metals during electron irradiation in the temperature regime of Stage-II recovery to the trapping of Stage-IE interstitials at impurity atoms, is shown to be in serious disagreement with the experiments, contrary to opposite statements in the literature. As shown recently, the predictions of the unsaturable trap model are independent of the dimensionality of the diffusion of the Stage-IE interstitials. Previous attempts to rule out a one-dimensional migration of the Stage-IE interstitials (and hence the two-interstitial model) on the basis of the alleged agreement of the unsaturable trap model with Stage-II damage curves are thus meaningless. On the contrary, it is demonstrated that the two-interstitial model accounts for minute details of the measured Stage-II damage curves in a natural way.  相似文献

Analogy is used to treat the system of non-interacting integrate-and-fire neurons as an ideal Fermi gas. It allows to obtain the nonlinear gain curve in the form of sigmoid in agreement with biological findings. As the by-product the gain-threshold mechanism in neurons is presented. Surprisingly enough, this is in agreement with new biological findings, too. Besides, the application of this mechanism to the dynamics of neurons leads to the non-monotone transfer function.  相似文献

Effects of ultrasonic on desulfurization ratio from bauxite water slurry (BWS) electrolysis in NaOH solution were examined under constant current. The results indicated that ultrasonic improved the desulfurization ratio at high temperatures because of the diffusion and transfer of oxygen gas in electrolyte. However, due to the increase in oxygen gas emission, ultrasonic could not improve the desulfurization ratio obviously at low temperatures. Additionally, the particle size of bauxite became fine in the presence of ultrasonic, indicating that the mass transfer of FeS2 phase was improved. According to the polarization curves, the current density increased in the presence of ultrasonic, indicating that the mass transfer of liquid phase was improved. The apparent activation energy (AAE) of electrode reaction revealed that ultrasonic did not change the pathway of water electrolysis. However, ultrasonic changed the pathway of BWS electrolysis, converting indirect oxidation into direct oxidation. The AAE of BWS electrolysis in the presence of ultrasonic was higher than that in the absence of ultrasonic. And the low AAEs (less than 20 kJ/mol) clearly indicated the diffusion control during BWS electrolysis reaction.  相似文献
