In this paper,we get the formulas of upper(lower) pointwise dimensions of some Moran measures on Moran sets in Rd under the strong separation condition.We also obtain formulas for the dimension of the Moran measures.Our results extend the known results of some self-similar measures and Moran measures studied by Cawley and Mauldin.  相似文献

A new class of contractive mappings called pointwise asymptotically ?-strict pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces is introduced and weak convergence of the sequence generated by Mann's iterative scheme to a fixed point of a uniformly Lipschitzian and pointwise asymptotically ?-strict pseudo-contractive mapping T in a Hilbert space is established. Also, a new kind of monotone hybrid method which is a modification of Mann's iterative scheme for finding a common fixed point of an infinitely countable family of uniformly Lipschitzian and pointwise asymptotically ?-strict pseudo-contractive mappings is proposed. Strong convergence of the sequence generated by the proposedmonotone hybrid method for an infinitely countable family of uniformly Lipschitzian and pointwise asymptotically ?-strict pseudo-contractive mappings in a Hilbert space is also shown. The results presented in this article extend and improve some known results in the literature.  相似文献

Theories of nonparametric regression are usually based on the assumption that the design density exists. However, in some applications such as those involving high-dimensional or chaotic time series data, the design measure may be singular and may be likely to have a fractal (nonintegral) dimension. In this paper, the popular Nadaraya–Watson estimator is studied under the general setup that the continuity of the design measure is governed by the local or pointwise dimension. It will be shown in the iid setup that the nonparametric regression estimator achieves a convergence rate which is dependent only on the pointwise dimension. The case of time series data is also studied. For the latter case, a new mixing condition is introduced, and an assumption of marginal or joint density is completely avoided. Three examples, a fractal regression and two applications for predicting chaotic time series, are used to illustrate the implications of the obtained results.  相似文献

Asymptotic properties of singularly perturbed Markov chains having measurable and/or continuous generators are developed in this work. The Markov chain under consideration has a finite-state space and is allowed to be nonstationary. Its generator consists of a rapidly varying part and a slowly changing part. The primary concerns are on the properties of the probability vectors and an aggregated process that depend on the characteristics of the fast varying part of the generators. The fast changing part of the generators can either consist of l recurrent classes, or include also transient states in addition to the recurrent classes. The case of inclusion of transient states is examined in detail. Convergence of the probability vectors under the weak topology of L2 is obtained first. Then under slightly stronger conditions, it is shown that the convergence also takes place pointwise. Moreover, convergence under the norm topology of L2 is derived. Furthermore, a process with aggregated states is obtained which converges to a Markov chain in distribution.  相似文献

For semi-recursive and recursive kernel estimates of a regression of Y on X (d-dimensional random vector X, integrable real random variable Y), introduced by Devroye and Wagner and by Révész, respectively, strong universal pointwise consistency is shown, i.e. strong consistency P X -almost everywhere for general distribution of (X, Y).
