Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction of a series of ten crystalline silver(I)–trifluoroacetate complexes that contained designed ligands, each of which was composed of an aromatic system that was functionalized with terminal and internal ethynyl groups and a vinyl substituent, provided detailed information on the influence of ligand disposition and orientation, coordination preferences, and the co‐existence of different types of silver(I)–carbon bonding interactions (silver–ethynide, silver–ethynyl, silver–ethenyl, and silver–aromatic) on the construction of coordination networks that were consolidated by argentophilic and weak inter/intramolecular interactions. The complex Ag L10? 6 AgCF3CO2 ? H2O ? MeOH ( HL10 =1‐{[4‐(prop‐2‐ynyloxy)‐3‐vinylphenyl]ethynyl}naphthalene) is the first reported example that exhibits all four kinds of silver(I)–carbon bonding interactions in the solid state.  相似文献

The complexation of NpO22+ and PuO22+ with dipicolinic acid (DPA) has been investigated in 0.1 M NaClO4 by spectrophotometry, microcalorimetry, and single crystal diffractometry. Formation of 1:1 and 1:2 (metal/ligand molar ratio) complexes of DPA with NpO22+ and PuO22+ were identified and the thermodynamic parameters were determined and compared with those of UO22+. All three hexavalent actinyl cations form strong 1:1 DPA complexes with slightly decreasing but comparable stability constants from UO22+ to PuO22+, whereas the stability constants of the 1:2 complexes (log β2) decrease substantially along the series (16.3 for UO2L22?, 15.17 for NpO2L22?, and 14.17 for PuO2L22? at 25 °C). The enthalpies of complexation for the 1:2 complexes become less exothermic from UO2L22? (?28.9 kJ mol?1), through NpO2L22? (?27.2 kJ mol?1), and to PuO2L22? (?22.7 kJ mol?1). The trends in the thermodynamic parameters are discussed in terms of the effective charge of the cations and the steric constraints in the structures of the complexes. In addition, the features of the absorption spectra, including the wavelength and intensity of the absorption bands, are related to the perturbation of the ligand field and the symmetry of the actinyl complexes.  相似文献

The focus of this article is on the analysis of repairable systems that are subject to multiple sources of recurrence. The event of interest at the system level is assumed to be caused by the earliest occurrence of a source, thereby conforming to a series system competing risks framework. Parametric inference is carried out under the power law process model that has found significant attention in industrial applications. Dependence among the cause‐specific recurrent processes is induced via a shared frailty structure. The theoretical inference results are implemented to a warranty database for a fleet of automobiles, for which the warranty repair is triggered by the failure of one of many components. Due to their potential binding sites, barbituric acid (BA) and its derivatives have been used in metal coordination chemistry. Yet their abilities to recognize anions remain unexplored. In this work, we were able to identify four structural features of barbiturates that are responsible for a certain anion affinity. The set of coordination interactions can be finely tuned with covalent decorations at the methylene group. DFT-D computations at the BLYP-D3(BJ)/aug-cc-pVDZ level of theory show that the C−H bond is as effective as the N−H bond to coordinate chloride. An analysis of the electron charge density at the C−H⋅⋅⋅Cl and N−H⋅⋅⋅Cl bond critical points elucidates their similarities in covalent character. Our results reveal that the special acidity of the C−H bond shows up when the methylene group moves out of the ring plane and it is mainly governed by the orbital interaction energy. The amide and carboxyl groups are the best choices to coordinate the ion when they act together with the C−H bond. We finally show how can we use this information to rationally improve the recognition capability of a small cage-like complex that is able to coordinate NaCl.  相似文献

The title compound is a small molecule with many structural variations; it can illustrate a variety of internal hydrogen bonds, among other noncovalent interactions. Here we examine structures displaying hydrogen bonding between carbonyl oxygen and hydroxyl H; between carbonyl oxygen and amino H; hydroxyl H and amino N; hydroxyl O and amino H. We also consider H-bonding in its tautomer 2-oxopropanamide. By extrapolation algorithms applied to Hartree-Fock and correlation energies as estimated in HF, MP2, and CCSD calculations using the cc-pVNZ correlation-consistent basis sets (N = 2, 3, and 4) we obtain reliable relative energies of the isomeric forms. Assuming that such energy differences may be attributed to the presence of the various types of hydrogen bonding, we attempt to infer relative strengths of types of H-bonding. The Atoms in Molecules theory of Bader and the Local Vibrational Modes analysis of Cremer and Kraka are applied to this task. Hydrogen bonds are ranked by relative strength as measured by local stretching force constants, with the stronger =O…HO- > NH…O= > -OH…N well separated from a cluster > NH…O= ≈ >NH…OH ≈ CH…O= of comparable and intermediate strength. Weaker but still significant interactions are of type CH…N which is stronger than CH…OH.  相似文献

A continuum model is employed to calculate the low-frequency phonons of boron nitride nanotubes. We find an excellent agreement of the optically active modes calculated within this approach and those from more elaborate calculations within an energy and wavelength window that can be established beforehand, from the choice of the bulk input parameters. We verify that this model describes correctly the dependence of radial breathing mode with the radius, the existence of parabolic modes at small wavevectors, and other general characteristics of the dispersion relations of these systems.  相似文献

Reduction of phenyl(silyl)ethynes with potassium followed by quenching with iodine gave dibenzopentalenes in moderate yields. The intermediates of the reactions, dipotassium dibenzopentalenides, were isolated. The first dibenzopentalene–transition‐metal complex was successfully synthesized. The ruthenium atoms are located above the six‐membered rings. However, X‐ray diffraction analysis and theoretical calculations revealed that the aromatic nature of the five‐membered rings was retained. The cyclic voltammetry of the Ru complex revealed two oxidation waves with relatively large separation.  相似文献

Single-atom catalysts have attracted much attention. Reported herein is that regulating charge transfer of lattice oxygen atoms in serial single-atom-doped titania enables tunable hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity. First-principles calculations disclose that the activity of lattice oxygen for the HER can be regularly promoted by substituting its nearest metal atom, and doping-induced charge transfer plays an essential role. Besides, the realm of the charge transfer of the active site can be enlarged to the second nearest atom by creating oxygen vacancies, resulting in further optimization for the HER. Various single-atom-doped titania nanosheets were fabricated to validate the proposed model. Taking advantage of the localized charge transfer to the lattice atom is demonstrated to be feasible for realizing precise regulation of the electronic structures and thus catalytic activity of the nanosheets.  相似文献

Production of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) is a well-known method used to synthesize a large number of identical antibodies, which are molecules of huge importance in medicine. Due to such reasons, intense efforts have been invested to maximize the mAbs production in bioreactors with hybridoma cell cultures. However, the optimal control of such sensitive bioreactors is an engineering problem difficult to solve due to the large number of state-variables with highly nonlinear dynamics, which often translates into a non-convex optimization problem that involves a significant number of decision (control) variables. Based on an adequate kinetic model adopted from the literature, this paper focuses on developing an in-silico (model-based, offline) numerical analysis of a fed-batch bioreactor (FBR) with an immobilized hybridoma culture to determine its optimal feeding policy by considering a small number of control variables, thus ensuring maximization of mAbs production. The obtained time stepwise optimal feeding policies of FBR were proven to obtain better performances than those of simple batch operation (BR) for all the verified alternatives in terms of raw material consumption and mAbs productivity. Several elements of novelty (i–iv) are pointed out in the “conclusions” section (e.g., considering the continuously added biomass as a control variable during FBR).  相似文献
