The Evolving Role of Professional Societies in International Collaboration: Partners for Progress and Prosperity

The chemistry enterprise is evolving, becoming increasingly multidisciplinary and global. The roles of societies that support the chemistry profession must also evolve and adapt. Traditional roles for professional societies have included sharing research, providing access to information and technologies, and supporting education excellence. Global challenges now provide sister international societies with opportunities to collaborate on: 1) improving the public image of chemistry, 2) identifying and supporting global job opportunities as markets shift, and 3) promoting diversity and inclusion to accelerate progress. Moreover, societies can work together to foster sustainable development by tackling grand challenges to provide clean water, affordable energy, zero hunger, and much more. Sister society collaboration on such challenges, as reflected in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, is the basis for the American Chemical Society's new Chemistry Enterprise Partnerships. Professional societies can truly help transform our world by partnering for progress and prosperity.     

国际石油价格与我国石化生产的协整关系:基于TAR模型的研究

国际石油价格作为石油化工产业主要原材料成本的重要组成部分,将对石化产业生产产生重大影响,研究发现我国主要石化产品总产量与国际油价之间存在显著的协整关系。利用门限自回归方法(TAR),实证研究发现两者存在非线性两机制门限协整。当国际油价低于门限值54.35美元时,我国石油化工生产基本不受国际石油价格变化影响。而当国际石油价格高于54.35美元时,其对我国石油化工产业影响凸显并成为抑制其发展的重要因素。

概述了化学计量领域国际间比对的现状、国际间比对在化学计量中的作用并分析了若干国际比对实例。     

国际热核聚变堆实验增殖包层模块设计

为了验证国际热核聚变堆(ITER)的产氚和能量获取等性能,各国分别提出了不同的实验增殖模块(TBM)设计方案。其总体功能相同,但具体技术路线有区别,不同之处包括冷却剂选择、产氚材料选择、中子倍增剂选择、产氚区布置形式、面向等离子体材料选择、结构材料选择等方面。通过对各TBM方案进行比较分析,评价了各自的优缺点,提出了未来先进产氚包层方案的设计建议。

国际液晶学会是作者于1990年建议成立的，活性行走的概念是作者于1992年提出的．活性行走是描述简单与复杂系统中自组织和图样形成的一个范式，已被广泛应用于自然科学和社会科学的各种系统中．文章首次给出关于国际液晶学会与活性行走创立过程的第一手资料，并介绍了活性行走的实质和意义．     

Operational research and sustainable development: Tackling the social dimension

Sustainable development is increasingly being seen as a major challenge in global terms. Operational Research (OR) has yet to be fully utilised in this area. To date, where it has been mostly used, it tends to deal with the relationships between environmental management and product supply chain and rarely focuses on the social dimension. This article seeks to discuss the potential of OR in the wider arena of sustainable development. It first explores the issue of widening OR responses to an inter-generational ethic. A case study is then described using a more holistic approach to explore sustainable development in the context of a city. The paper finishes with a discussion of the implications of this approach in relation to sustainable development more generally.     

International cooperation in the field of radiation application

Bilateral and multilateral research cooperations have been implemented at TRCRE, JAERI, producing favorable results in the field of radiation application. Frameworks and some achievements are described and the significance of the international cooperation is discussed.     

太阳辐照绝对辐射计与国际比对

为了测量太阳辐照度和地球辐射，研制了太阳辐照绝对辐射计（SIAR-1），对电校准腔型绝对辐射计进行了重要改进，提高了绝对精度。参加了世界气象组织在瑞士设立的世界辐射中心组织的第九届国际日射计比对，AIAR-1高于民办辐射基准0.08％。太阳辐照度监测器（STIM）同SIAR-1进行了比对，结果太阳辐照度监测器三台绝对辐射计之间平均值偏差为0.11％。SIAR-1辐射计与太阳辐照度监测器2号辐射计在0.09％以内符合。结论：太阳辐照度监测器绝对精度为0.16％。
