This article deals with the Fujita-type theorems to the Cauchy problem of degenerate parabolic equation not in divergence form with weighted source u t ?=?u p Δu?+?a(x)u q in ? n ?×?(0,?T), where p?≥?1, q?>?1, and the positive weight function a(x) is of the order |x| m with m?>??2. It was known that for the degenerate diffusion equation in divergence form, the weight function affects both of the critical Fujita exponent and the second critical exponent (describing the critical smallness of initial data required by global solutions via the decay rates of the initial data at space-infinity). Contrarily, it is interesting to prove that the weight function in the present model with degenerate diffusion not in divergence form influences the second critical exponent only, without changing the critical Fujita exponent.  相似文献

This paper studies coupled heat equations with multi-nonlinearities of six nonlinear parameters. The critical blow-up exponent is established via a complete classification for all the six nonlinear parameters, where a precise analysis on the geometry of Ω and the absorption coefficients is given for the balanced interaction situation among the multi-nonlinearities. The main attention is contributed to non-simultaneous phenomena in the model to determine the necessary and sufficient conditions of non-simultaneous blow-up with suitable initial data, as well as the conditions under which any blow-up must be non-simultaneous. Finally, the model of the paper is characterized by a comparison with the known results for other models.  相似文献

We consider the energy-critical non-linear focusing Schr?dinger equation in dimension N = 3, 4, 5. An explicit stationary solution, W, of this equation is known. In [KeM], the energy E(W) has been shown to be a threshold for the dynamical behavior of solutions of the equation. In the present article, we study the dynamics at the critical level E(u) = E(W) and classify the corresponding solutions. This gives in particular a dynamical characterization of W. Katz and Pavlovic recently proposed a dyadic model of the Euler equations for which they proved finite time blow-up in the Sobolev norm. It is shown that their model can be reduced to a dyadic model of the inviscid Burgers equation. The inviscid Burgers equation exhibits finite time blow-up in , for , but its dyadic restriction is even more singular, exhibiting blow-up for any . Friedlander and Pavlovic developed a closely related model for which they also prove finite time blow-up in . Some inconsistent assumptions in the construction of their model are outlined. Finite time blow-up in the norm, for any , is proven for a class of models that includes all those models. An alternative shell model of the Navier-Stokes equations is discussed.

In this paper, the blow-up rate of solutions of semi-linear reaction-diffusion equations with a more complicated source term, which is a product of nonlocal (or localized) source and weight function a(x), is investigated. It is proved that the solutions have global blow-up, and that the rates of blow-up are uniform in all compact subsets of the domain. In this paper, using the blow-up analysis, we prove the following Adams inequalities$$\sup_{u\in E_{\ell}^{\bot},\,\| u\|_{2,\alpha}\leq 1}\int_{\Omega}e^{32\pi^2u^2}{\rm d}x<+\infty;$$moreover, the above supremum can be attained by a function $u_0\in E_{\ell}^{\bot}\cap C^4(\overline{\Omega})$ with $\|u_0\|_{2,\alpha}=1$. This result extends that of Yang (J. Differential Equations, 2015), and complements that of Lu and Yang (Adv. Math. 2009) and Nguyen (arXiv: 1701.08249, 2017).  相似文献
