A class of weighted estimators for additive hazards model in case-cohort studies

Case-cohort sampling is a commonly used and efficient method for studying large cohorts. In many situations, some covariates are easily measured on all cohort subjects, and surrogate measurements of the expensive covariates also may be observed. In this paper, to make full use of the covariate data collected outside the case-cohort sample, we propose＇a class of weighted estimators with general time-varying weights for the additive hazards model, and the estimators are shown to be consistent and asymptotically normal. We also identify the estimator within this class that maximizes efficiency, and simulation studies show that the efficiency gains of the proposed estimator over the existing ones can be substantial in practical situations. A real example is provided.     

ON INTERSECTIONS OF INDEPENDENT NONDEGENERATE DIFFUSION PROCESSES

Let X(1)= {X(1)(s), s ∈ R+ } and X(2)= {X(2)(t), t ∈ R+ } be two independent nondegenerate diusion processes with values in Rd. The existence and fractal dimension of intersections of the sample paths of X(1)and X(2)are studied. More generally, let E1, E2 ■(0, ∞) and F  Rd be Borel sets. A necessary condition and a suffcient condition for P{X(1)(E1) ∩ X(2)(E2) ∩ F = φ} 0 are proved in terms of the Bessel-Riesz type capacity and Hausdor measure of E1 ×E2 ×F in the metric space(R+ ×R+ ×Rd, ρ), where ρ is an unsymmetric metric defined in R+ × R+ × Rd. Under reasonable conditions, results resembling those of Browian motion are obtained.     

短期噪声下两种长记忆性判别方法的小样本比较

本文以长记忆性的两种对数周期图方法为研究对象,在小样本下,从长记忆性的估计均值,估计精度和检验效果等方面比较分析了短期噪声对Geweke,Portert和Hidak(1983,GPH)和Andrews,Guggenberger(2003,AG)两种方法的影响及作用机理.结果发现当存在短期噪声时,尽管AG方法的大样本性质优于GPH方法,但其小样本性质并不十分稳健.主要而言,AG方法仅在较小负根情形下对GPH方法的修正效果明显;当噪声中含有较大负根时,存在过度修正问题;而当噪声中含有正根时,存在修正不足问题.此外,还研究了短期噪声下的带宽选择问题.通过对不同带宽下两种方法小样本性质的比较研究,发现在带宽极小处,两种方法的统计特征非常敏感;而带宽较大时,两种方法的统计特征不再收敛.笔者认为按照误差均方根最小选择带宽是一个相对可以接受的方案.     

对称熵损失下BurrⅫ分布族形状参数和失效率函数的Bayes估计

基于逐次定数截尾样本,在对称熵损失下,针对不同的先验分布,讨论BurrXII分布的形状参数和失效率函数的Bayes估计。对先验分布中所含的超参数采用减函数法构造其先验分布,从而得到相应的Bayes估计。文中说明了所得到的估计是可容许的,文尾运用Monte Carlo方法对估计量的MSE进行了模拟比较。结果显示,所得到的估计有较高的精度。     

基于样本协方差矩阵的多维随机数生成方法

对于概率模型未知的多维数据样本容量扩充问题,根据主成分分析原理以及多维正态分布的性质,讨论并给出了与已知多维样本数据有相同协方差结构的模拟数据生成算法,并在此基础上给出了变量的离散化处理方法。实现了在小样本数据基础上不改变变量间协方差结构的样本容量扩充,为小样本条件下的数学建模、检验和分析提供样本数据支撑。
