The kinetic control of exothermic reactions plays an important role in chemical safety technology. Predictions of thermal explosions by runaway, e.g. redox reactions, poly reactions, and decompositions, are required in case of simple as well as of complex reactions. Activation parameters of chemical reactions are often stressed by systematic errors which are caused by failures in accuracy of measurement and calibration. The influence of systematic errors for some selected reactions has been investigated by the software package TA-kin. The coupling between continuous data evaluation software and the precision calorimeter ACTRON 5.0, including a safety scenario equipment, was established to test the validity of calculated runaway predictions under practical conditions. Measured data are applied for kinetic evaluations by nonlinear optimization methods in real time. In this way, the experimental investigations of reaction systems become possible beyond the point of no return without any danger for the laboratory.  相似文献

Impact and electric spark sensitivities of energetic compounds are two important sensitivity parameters, which are closely related to many accidents in working places. In contrast to electric spark sensitivity, impact sensitivity can be easily measured. A new simple method is introduced to correlate electric spark and impact sensitivities of nitroaromatic compounds. Two correcting functions are used to consider several molecular moieties for reliable prediction of electric spark sensitivity through the measured or estimated impact sensitivity of nitroaromatics. The model is optimized using a set of 28 CHNO polynitroaromatic explosives and then it is tested for some nitroaromatics containing the other atoms such as sulfur. The predicted electric sensitivities of the new method are also compared with the reported results of a new quantum mechanical approach. For 22 CHNO nitroaromatics, quantum mechanical calculations are within ±3.0 J of 18 measured values and more than ±3.0 J for remaining 4 experimental data. Meanwhile, the predicted results of the method are less than ±3.0 J for 28 CHNO nitroaromatics. The root‐mean‐square (rms) deviations of the new model and quantum mechanical are also 1.55 and 2.51 J, respectively.  相似文献

The knowledge of sensitiveness of an energetic compound to friction stimuli is important to ensure the safety of people and protection of property during shipment. The information on sensitivity to friction is considered very valuable for nitramines, which show relatively higher sensitivity with respect to the other classes of secondary explosives. This study presents a novel general simple model for prediction of the relationship between friction sensitivity and activation energy of thermolysis of cyclic and acyclic nitramines on the basis of their molecular structures. This methodology assumes that friction sensitivity of an energetic compound with general formula CaHbNcOd can be expressed as a function of activation energy of thermolysis and the contribution of specific molecular structural parameters. For 21 nitramines with different molecular structures, the new correlation has the root mean square and the average standard deviations of 14.2 and 17.8 N, respectively, as compared to experimental values. The proposed new method is also tested for further 8 nitramines containing complex molecular structures, which gives good predictions.  相似文献

为确保 HL-2M 装置能安全、稳定地进行初始等离子体放电实验,参考国际热核聚变实验堆(ITER) 的安全联锁设计,并结合 HL-2M 装置的实际现状,建立了一套基于可编程逻辑控制器(PLC)慢控制的中央安全联 锁系统。搭建了一套千兆光纤星形网用来满足各系统之间的通讯。中央安全联锁系统根据故障风险等级和预先设 定的故障处理机制,协调各子系统进行联锁保护动作。WINCC 监控画面显示各子系统的运行状态和故障信息。 采用 EPICS CA 协议和 S7nodave 驱动实现了软 IOC 读取 PLC 变量,并结合 C#编程实现了对主机大厅门禁访问系 统的控制,保障了人员和设备的安全。该套中央安全联锁系统已经投入使用,平均扫描周期 1~3ms,满足 HL-2M 装置初始等离子体放电的安全联锁保护需求。  相似文献

Hydrodynamic cavitation is a powerful tool for the enhancement of various processing applications. This study utilizes continuous hydrodynamic cavitation (CHC) for the inactivation of pathogens in milk for the first time. The thermal characteristics, inactivation performance, damage on the nutritional composition, product safety, and cost of the advanced rotational hydrodynamic cavitation reactor at pilot scale were comprehensively investigated. The inactivation results demonstrated that 5.89, 5.53, and 2.99 ± 0.08 log reductions of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Bacillus cereus were achieved, respectively, at a final treatment temperature of 70 °C for 1–2 s. Moreover, the detrimental effect of CHC on the nutritional composition of milk, including mineral, fat, protein, and vitamin contents, was similar to that of high-temperature short-time method. The change in the concentrations of general bacteria and E. coli, as well as the pH value and acidity of the CHC treated milk stored at 5 °C for 14 days was found to be close to that of low-temperature long-time pasteurized milk. The cost of the present CHC treatment was $0.00268/L with a production rate of 4.2 L/min. CHC appears to be a remarkable method for the continuous processing of milk, as well as other liquid foods with high nutrition and “fresh-picked” flavor, due to its high efficacy, good scalability, high production capacity, and low operating and equipment costs.  相似文献

A new reliable and highly sensitive method based on high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) separation and high resolution tandem mass spectrometric detection (HRMS/MS) has been developed and validated for determination of 323 pesticide residues, 55 mycotoxins, and 11 plant toxins represented by pyrrolizidine alkaloids. The method was validated for three matrices, leek, wheat, and tea differing in nature/amount of co-extracts that may cause various matrix effects. For target analytes isolation, optimized QuEChERS-based (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe) extraction procedure was employed. Spectral HRMS/MS library has been established providing an entire spectrum of fragment ions for each analyte, which allows unbiased identification and confirmation of target compounds. The limits of quantification (LOQs) of target analytes were below 10 μg kg−1 for 82%, 81%, and 61% for matrices leek, wheat, and tea, respectively. Recoveries were in the acceptable range (70–120%) according to SANCO/12571/2013 for most of target analytes, except for highly polar ‘masked’ mycotoxin deoxynivalenol-3-glucoside with recoveries 35%, 47%, and 42% for matrices leek, wheat, and tea, respectively. The linearities of calibration curves expressed as coefficients of determination were in the range of 0.9661–1.000, and repeatabilities expressed as relative standard deviations (RSDs) at LOQs lied in the range of 0.25–13.51%. The trueness of the method was verified using several certified reference materials (CRMs) and proficiency test samples.  相似文献

Lithium deposition on graphite anodes is considered as a main reason for failures and safety for lithium ion batteries (LIB). Different amounts of carbon coating on the surface of natural graphite are used in this work to suppress the amount of lithium deposited at − 10 °C. Pulse polarization experiments reveal relative polarization of graphite anodes at various temperatures and show that lithium deposition is accelerated at lowered temperatures. Electrochemical experiments, along with photographs, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and ex-situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) data suggest that carbon coating not only suppresses the lithium deposition but also enhances the formation of LiC6 at − 10 °C. The homogeneous potential profile on the graphite surface attained by the carbon coating explains such an improved low temperature performance, as it allows efficient Solid Electrolyte Interface (SEI) film formation, which is a prerequisite for safety LIB.  相似文献

The shock wave used in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) induces strong cavitation and generates a large amount of free radicals (FR). In order to evaluate the harmfulness of FR in the ESWL, information on the incidence and persist time of FR caused by shock waves is required. FR markers can estimate the amount of FR generated, but not how long the FRs will survive. The OH* FR generated by the ESWL shock wave reacts with luminol and emits blue light, which is called sonochemical luminescence (SCL) phenomenon. In this study, FR generation and persist time were measured by recording SCL phenomenon with a sensitive photomultiplier tube (PMT) that responds in nanoseconds. As a result of measurement with the PMT, when the electromagnetic shock wave used in clinical practice was irradiated to the luminol solution, the amount of light emitted per unit time reached its maximum value within a very short time (< ∼600us) and then exponentially decreased for a long time (∼several hundred ms). The measured FR persist time reaches a maximum of 1000 ms. As the output setting of the shock wave generator increases, the minimum or average FR persist time increases, but the maximum value does not show a high correlation with the output setting. The amount of generated FR shows a very high correlation with the shock wave setting, and when the setting is changed from low to high, it increases very sensitively, rapidly and non-linearly. In order to reduce the risk of FR in patient treatment using lithotripsy, the output setting of the shock wave should be minimized, and the interval between the shock wave pulses should be sufficiently larger than the FR persist time. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid increasing the output setting and setting the shock wave irradiation frequency below 1 Hz to shorten the treatment time in clinical practice. For the purpose of formulating these recommendations, additional studies on the generation and persist time of FR depending on the shock wave generation method and set conditions in living tissue or similar environment are required in the future.  相似文献
