The salts [(C2H5)3NH]2[M4(SC6H5)10] (M = Zn, Cd) can be prepared by the electrochemical oxidation of the metal in an acetonitrile solution of triethylamine and benzenethiol. An X-ray crystal structure determination shows that the anion consists of a tetrahedron of metal atoms, each carrying a terminal -SC6H5 ligand, and connected to the three other metal atoms by bridging > SC6H5 groups. Ferromagnetic resonance measurements were carried out on various compositions of magnesium nickel ferrites prepared by various heat treatments. Corrections were applied for polycrystalline and size effects for calculating the g factor and linewidth. The variation of these parameters has been explained on the basis of the cation distribution in these compounds as obtained from magnetization data assuming a collinear model of spin distribution.  相似文献

The absorption spectrum of carbon dioxide has been recorded in the wavenumber region 2395-2216 cm?1 with a spectral resolution between 0.02 and 0.03 cm?1. About twenty transitions have been identified and the molecular constants of the levels involved have been evaluated. In view of the interest of this region in atmospheric studies a map of the entire spectrum recorded by using a normal sample of carbon dioxide is presented including the identifications for the different bands. About 90% of the lines observed have been interpreted. Some of them have been assigned to transitions originating from higher excited states of 12C16O2 not considered before in interpreting this spectral region. For the first time, bands of 12C16O17O have been identified in the 4.3-μm spectra obtained with the natural sample.  相似文献

The dynamics of a crystalline monolayer of molecular nitrogen physisorbed on the basal plane of graphite, which was assumed to be rigid, has been studied by means of lattice and molecular dynamics. The study focusses mainly on the registered solid in which the centres of mass adopt the √3 × √3 R30° structure, but some results are also reported for denser monlayers, including one where the centre-of-mass lattice is non-triangular. Harmonic dispersion curves are reported for two models of the N2-N2 interaction combined with Steele's representation of the molecule-surface interaction. The one-phonon density of states is given for one of the models. Molecular dynamics results for the same model at two temperatures, 5 and 17 K, are analysed in terms of the dynamical structure factor, and one-phonon approximation to it, and the out-of-plane motions are treated in a manner similar to the one-phonon approximation. In-plane and out-of-plane motions are largely decoupled in all cases studied, and the in-plane motions show evidence of marked anharmonicity. The out-of-plane motions appear to exhibit Fermi-Pasta-Ulam type recurrences, although this is not analysed in detail.  相似文献

A plasma source for analytical atomic emission spectroscopy is described based on the electrical vaporization by capacitive discharge of a thin Ag film deposited on a polycarbonate membrane filter. The source is designed for the rapid, direct analysis of solid powder samples collected by filtration from fluid media. A concentric electrode system consisting of a ring-shaped graphite electrode placed on the thin film surface and a pointed graphite rod located under the membrane substrate results in a plasma with cylindrical symmetry and a radial current path. Discharge current vs time and intensity vs time profiles are compared for the concentric electrode geometry and the linear geometry used in previous studies. Two values of tank circuit inductance also are compared. Both neutral-atom and ion line radiation from an Mn sample are more intense when the center electrode is initially cathodic. The inside diameter of the ring-shaped electrode and thus the surface area of the Ag film exposed to the plasma have relatively little effect on the intensity of continuum background and line radiation from a sample deposited near the center of the film. Particle size effects, while significant, are smaller than with the linear electrode geometry. Analytical curves are presented for several lines using both a low-inductance and a high-inductance discharge. Log-log slopes range from about 0.85 to 1.05 for ion lines. Detection limits are somewhat poorer than with the linear geometry.  相似文献

The measurement of electron temperature and electron density from line and continuum radiation in Ar plasmas used for spectroscopic purposes is discussed. The correct equations for the calculation of these parameters from experimentally observable quantities are identified. Such expressions yield the theoretical spectral irradiance expected from line and continuum radiation. To aid calculations, grouped constants from these equations are calculated using SI units of measure. The sources of accurate values for the parameters and correction factors appearing in the irradiance equations are listed. In addition the approximations made in order to simplify electron temperature and electron density determinations are reviewed. Practical aspects of making accurate measurements of these parameters in Ar plasmas are considered. Theoretical plots of line to continuum emission ratio vs electron temperature and of continuum irradiance vs electron density are presented as an illustration using parameters appropriate for Ar emission at 430 nm and the spectrally adjacent continuum.  相似文献
