In this paper, we describe a solution to the register synthesis problem for a class of sequence generators known as algebraic feedback shift registers (AFSRs). These registers are based on the algebra of -adic numbers, where is an element in a ring R, and produce sequences of elements in R/(). We give several cases where the register synthesis problem can be solved by an efficient algorithm. Consequently, any keystreams over R/() used in stream ciphers must be unable to be generated by a small register in these classes. Sustained signal activation by hydroxyl radicals (⋅OH) has great significance, especially for tumor treatment, but remains challenging. Here, a built-in electric field (BIEF)-driven strategy was proposed for sustainable generation of ⋅OH, thereby achieving long-lasting chemodynamic therapy (LCDT). As a proof of concept, a novel Janus-like Fe@Fe3O4−Cu2O heterogeneous catalyst was designed and synthesized, in which the BIEF induced the transfer of electrons in the Fe core to the surface, reducing ≡Cu2+ to ≡Cu+, thus achieving continuous Fenton-like reactions and ⋅OH release for over 18 h, which is approximately 12 times longer than that of Fe3O4−Cu2O and 72 times longer than that of Cu2O nanoparticles. In vitro and in vivo antitumor results indicated that sustained ⋅OH levels led to persistent extracellular regulated protein kinases (ERK) signal activation and irreparable oxidative damage to tumor cells, which promoted irreversible tumor apoptosis. Importantly, this strategy provides ideas for developing long-acting nanoplatforms for various applications. 相似文献

We define three phases of the minority game according to the value ρ=2M/N, the ratio of the number of entries in a strategy to the number of agents. The time sequence of the population in one room has distinct feature in different phase. It shows quasi-periodic structure in the first phase where ρ<ρc1. In the second phase, ρc1<ρ<ρc2, agents coordinate better and better as ρ gets larger. In the third phase, ρ>ρc2, the system is able to reach its best performance in reducing the population variance. The crucial factor, which hinders the system to reach its best performance in the first and second phases, is the number of agents who switch strategy at the same time. When ρ<ρc2, the constraint that bound 2M predictions in a strategy is small, so that too many agents will switch to a better strategy simultaneously. As a result, they form a majority group and are more likely to lose. We give analytical approximate formulas for the population variance in the first and third phases.
