A series of ethynyl and ethenyl end-capped imide resins were synthesised by the reaction of 9,9-bis(4-aminophenyl) fluorene
(BAF) with pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA)3/3′, 4,4′-benzophenone tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride (BTDA)/2,2-bis(3,4-dicarboxy
phenyl) hexafluoropropane dianhydride (6F) and 3-ethynyl aniline/maleic anhydride. Structural characterisation was done by
infra red and elemental analysis. Thermal characterisation was done by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric
analysis. The decomposition temperatures of cured resins were above 200°C in nitrogen atmosphere. Char yield at 800°C ranged

It was found that amines were formed efficiently by the photolysis of O-acyloximes followed by hydrolysis in polystyrene films and the relationship between structures of O-acyloximes and yields of amines were investigated. O-phenylacetyl acetophenone oxime (PaApO), O-pivaloyl acetophenone oxime (PApO), and O-benzoyl acetophenone oxime (BApO) as monofunctional O-acyloximes and O,O′-succinyl diacetophenone oxime (SDApO) and O,O′-glutaryl diacetophenone oxime (GDApO) as bifunctional O-acyloximes were examined. The yields of amines for PaApO and SDApO under N2 were ca. 70%, which was the highest among O-acyloximes examined in this experiment. On the other hand, the yields for PApO, BApO, and GDApO were less than 15% and it was verified that the hydrogen abstraction by imino radicals via 6-membered cyclic intermediates resulted in the lowering of yields. Although the effect of oxygen under photolysis on the yields of amine for PaApO was negligible under 50% conversion of PaApO, the yield decreased with further increase in the conversion and was 50% at 90% conversion. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

A new optimization criterion for chromatography is presented. It was designed to evaluate the quality of chromatograms in a way similar to human estimation. Selectivity, efficiency, and time of analysis as well as the number of peaks were taken into account. The criterion has been tested in comparison with expert estimations and some modern criteria. A better agreement of the new criterion with human estimation of chromatographic quality compared to some literature criteria is shown. Combining polymeric architectures with metal ions produces hybrid materials with extremely rich properties. We are studying polymers containing terpyridine in the side chain. In this report, the chelation of lanthanide ions, Eu3+, Tb3+, and Dy3+ resulted in metal functionalized copolymers that exhibited excellent emission of red, green, and blue light respectively. The polymer architecture easily allows incorporation of all three colors into the material, which leads to the facile production of true white light in solution or the solid state. Quantum efficiencies for the polymer systems were determined. The white light system had an efficiency of 5%. Various combinations of colors were achieved from the basic RBG colors by simply varying the metal ion ratios in the polymer backbone. This easy tuning of the color makes these systems attractive. The new tetra-aryl trans-A2B2-porphyrin with two fluoren-2-yl and two phenyl groups at the meso-positions has been synthesized and characterized, together with the analogous bi-aryl trans-A2-porphyrin incorporating only the fluorenyl groups. The photophysical properties of these new compounds in solution are reported. The two additional phenyl groups in the A2B2 porphyrin stabilize the first excited singlet state by approximately 500 cm−1 compared to the A2 system, as revealed by the red-shift of the absorption Q bands and of the fluorescence emission bands. Both compounds display enhanced emission quantum yields compared to tetraphenylporphyrin: the augmentation is higher for the tetra-aryl than for the bi-aryl system, although not as high as for tetrafluorenylporphyrin. Fluorescence lifetime measurements of the series of four compounds suggest that the trends can be interpreted in terms of the larger influence of fluorenyl over phenyl groups in increasing the fluorescence radiative rate constant of the porphyrin, kf. 相似文献
