We provide criteria for the strong ergodicity of regime-switching diffusion processes. Our conditions are imposed on the coefficients of the processes. Particularly, we show that for regime-switching diffusions on the half line, if the corresponding diffusion on each fixed environment is strongly ergodic, then the regime-switching diffusion is strongly ergodic as well, which does not depend on the changing rate of the environment. This paper is concerned with the exponential stability analysis for a class of cellular neural networks with both interval time-varying delays and general activation functions. The boundedness assumption of the activation function is not required. The limitation on the derivative of time delay being less than one is relaxed and the lower bound of time-varying delay is not restricted to be zero. A new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional involving more information on the state variables is established to derive a novel exponential stability criterion. The obtained condition shows potential advantages over the existing ones since no useful item is ignored throughout the estimate of upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional. In the present paper, we give an answer to a question which is closely related to doubly warped product of Finsler metrics: ‘‘For each n, is there an n-dimensional Finsler manifold , admitting a non-constant smooth function f on M such that ?”. We relate the preceding mentioned condition to different concepts appeared and studied in Finsler geometry. We introduce and investigate the notion of a semi concurrent vector field on a Finsler manifold. We show that some special Finsler manifolds admitting such vector fields turn out to be Riemannian. We prove that Tachibana's characterization of Finsler manifolds admitting a concurrent vector field leads to Riemannian metrics. By employing the Lyapunov functions and Razumikhin technique, some stability results are obtained for pantograph equations with impulses.
