Superperiodicity, chaos and coexisting orbits of ion-acoustic waves (IAWs) are studied in a multi-component plasma consisting of fluid ions, q -nonextensive cold and hot electrons and Maxwellian hot positrons. The significant impacts of the system parameters on superperiodic and nonlinear periodic IAWs are presented. Considering an external periodic perturbation various types of quasiperiodic and chaotic features for IAWs are studied in different parametric ranges through time series’ plots, phase spaces and Lyapunov exponents. It has been observed that there exist some coexisting orbits for IAWs. Coexisting orbits for IAWs in a classical electron–positron–ion plasma system are reported. 相似文献

A calculation is presented of the long-time behavior of various random walk properties (moments, probability of return to the origin, expected number of distinct sites visited) formultistate random walks on periodic lattices. In particular, we consider inhomogeneous periodic lattices, consisting of a periodically repeated unit cell which contains a finite number of internal states (sites). The results are identical to those for perfect lattices except for a renormalization of coefficients. For walks without drift, it is found that all the asymptotic random walk properties are determined by the diffusion coefficients for the multistate random walk. The diffusion coefficients can be obtained by a simple matrix algorithm presented here. Both discrete and continuous time random walks are considered. The results are not restricted to nearest-neighbor random walks but apply as long as the single-step probability distributions associated with each of the internal states have finite means and variances. 相似文献

In this paper the calculation of resonance frequencies and threshold gains of distributed feedback (DFB) lasers with strong modulations is discussed. The theory is based on the Floquet solutions of a complex Hill differential equation. 将多个低频微弱信号、高频信号和加性α稳定噪声共同激励的一类周期势系统作为研究模型,以平均信噪比增益(MSNRI)为性能指标,对α稳定噪声环境下周期势系统中的振动共振现象进行了研究,分别探究了α稳定噪声的特征参数α、对称参数β、加性噪声强度放大系数D、高频信号幅值B以及频率?对振动共振输出效应的影响.研究结果表明:1)在不同分布的α稳定噪声环境下,固定频率?(或幅值B),当幅值B(或频率?)逐渐增大时,MSNRI-B(或MSNRI-?)曲线出现多个峰值,即存在多个B区间(或?区间)可诱导振动共振,并且这些区间不会随噪声分布参数α或β的变化而变化;2)当加性噪声强度放大系数D发生变化时,幅值B和频率?的共振区间没有随着D的变化而变化,表明只有高频信号能量向待测低频信号转移,噪声能量并没有向待测低频信号转移.另外当幅值B、频率?固定时,随着D的逐渐增大,依然可以实现微弱信号的检测,表明振动共振可以克服工业现场噪声强度不可调控的缺点.本文研究结果提供了一种新的微弱信号检测方法,在信号处理领域有着潜在的应用价值. 相似文献

Non-Markovian Brownian motion in a periodic potential is studied by means of an electronic analogue simulator. Velocity spectra, the Fourier transforms of velocity autocorrelation functions, are obtained for three types of random force, that is, a white noise, an Ornstein—Uhlenbeck process, and a quasimonochromatic noise. The analogue results are in good agreement both with theoretical ones calculated with the use of a matrix-continued-fraction method, and with the results of digital simulations. An unexpected extra peak in the velocity spectrum is observed for Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noise with large correlation time. The peak is attributed to a slow oscillatory motion of the Brownian particle as it moves back and forth over several lattice spaces. Its relationship to an approximate Langevin equation is discussed. 相似文献
