Further advances on low-energy lunar impact dynamics

We extend the analysis, started in a previous work [1], concerning the formation of lunar impact craters due to low-energy trajectories. First, we adopt the Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem and consider different choices of initial conditions inside the stable invariant manifold associated with the central invariant one in the neighborhood of the L₂ equilibrium point in the Earth-Moon system. Then we move to the Bicircular Restricted Four-Body Problem to study the effect of the Sun on the distribution of impacts on the Moon’s surface.     

Global asymptotical stability of a unique almost periodic solution for enterprise clusters based on ecology theory with time-varying delays and feedback controls

This paper is concerned with some dynamic behavior of enterprises cluster constituted by n satellite enterprises and a dominant enterprise. We present a model involving time-varying delays and feedback controls based on ecology theory, which effectively describe the competition and cooperation of enterprises cluster in real economic environments. Applying the comparison theorem of differential equations and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence of a unique globally asymptotically stable nonnegative almost periodic solution of the system are obtained. Finally, we present an example to explain the economical significance of mathematical results.     

Derivation of invariant varieties of periodic points from singularity confinement in the case of Toda map

We have shown in [1] that the invariant varieties of periodic points (IVPP) of all periods of some higher dimensional rational maps can be derived, iteratively, from the singularity confinement (SC). We generalize this algorithm, in this paper, to apply to any birational map, which has more invariants than the half of the dimension.     

Characterizations of optimality in convex programming: the nondifferentiable case

Primal, dual and saddle-point characterizations of optimality are given for convex programming in the general case (nondifferentiable functions and no constraint qualification).     

C_(2~6)烯烃在H-ZSM-5分子筛周期性模型上吸附的理论研究

采用密度泛函理论中的PBE-D方法研究了C2~6直链烯烃以及丁烯异构体在H-ZSM-5分子筛周期性模型上的吸附行为。结果表明,对于C2~6直链烯烃,随着碳数的增加,烯烃的吸附能以-12 kJ/mol的常数线性增大,体系中色散校正能ED以-13 kJ/mol的常数线性增大,而不考虑范德华力的能量E*随碳数增加变化不大,只在C5和C6时由于空间阻力凸显而减小。ED显著大于E*,说明烯烃在分子筛孔道中吸附时范德华力起主要作用,且碳数增加其影响增大。丁烯异构体吸附能大小顺序为:反式-2-丁烯顺式-2-丁烯正丁烯异丁烯。正丁烯的3种异构体ED相近且都比正丁烯的大,3种异构体的吸附能差异由E*不同引起。差分电荷密度分析表明,烯烃双键与酸性中心之间有电子聚集,且聚集程度与π配位作用相一致,而且酸性中心H原子有质子化趋向,O原子及其周围电子增加。     

Normal families and fixed points of iterates

Let F be a family of holomorphic functions and suppose that there exists ε 0 such that if f ∈ F, then |(f 2 ) (ξ)|≤4-ε for all fixed points ξ of the second iterate f 2 . We show that then F is normal. This is deduced from a result which says that if p is a polynomial of degree at least 2, then p 2 has a fixed point ξ such that |(p 2 ) (ξ)|≥4. The results are motivated by a problem posed by Yang Lo.     

The band gap and transmission characteristics investigation of local resonant quaternary phononic crystals with periodic coating

In this article, the investigation of the Lamb wave propagation in two-dimensional phononic crystals (PCs) composed of an array of periodic coating on a thin plate is presented. Compared with the traditional PCs usually consist of cylindrical scatters with uniform coatings in their exterior structure, the newly exterior coating structures with periodic alternant arrangement of two different materials are proposed. The band structures are calculated using finite element method. We discover that a complete band gap can be exhibited at low frequency. Furthermore, for a finite PCs plate, the computed transmission and resonance spectra shown an evident resonance nature which can be directly related to formation of the low-frequency gaps. The effects of different material parameters and arrangement mode of coating on the acoustic energy transmission and attenuation are also studied. Finally, the experimental transmission spectrum of the periodic coating PCs are also presented and compared with the numerical results. This study will provide useful support to the design of tuning band gaps and isolators in the low-frequency range.
