An adaptive filter for gravitational-wave antennas

Summary We report on the development of an adaptive optimum filter for processing the data of a resonant bar gravitational-wave detector. This filter, based on the matched-filter theory, is adaptive in the sense that the function it realizes is derived from the actual noise spectrum of the data being analysed (instead from an idealized model of the noise). Its implementation is mostly based on frequency domain techniques. We also report on the application of the new filter to the data of the cryogenic antenna Explorer of the Rome group, with particular reference to the comparison between its performance and that of an otpimum filter with fixed values of the parameters.     

我国AB股双重上市公司经营业绩变化的实证分析

本文以46家在上海和深圳同时上市AB股的公司的样本,分析了公司实行双重上市前1年及其后4年的经营业绩的变化趋势以及股权结构和上市顺序对它的影响。研究表明,双重上市当年及其后4年经营业绩显著下降;股权结构和上市顺序对公司经营业绩影响明显。最后,文章提出了改善AB股公司经营业绩的对策建议。     

NEPCⅡ新电子枪热结构分析与测试

北京正负电子对撞机重大改造工程(BEPCⅡ)要求其直线注入器提供更高的能量和流强, 为此必须设计大电流和小发射度的新电子枪, 以提高正电子的产额. 利用ANSYS对BEPCⅡ新电子枪的温度场分布及结构的热变形进行了模拟分析. 对于电子枪复杂的内部结构形态以及能量转换方式, 分析了传导传热方式对温度场的影响. 在此基础上进行了温度场与结构变形的耦合分析, 利用EGUN对电子枪形变前后束流光学特性进行模拟分析, 并对模拟结果与试验 测试结果进行了分析比较.     

Exact Solution of a Test Particle in Presence of Thick Domain Walls

We have obtained the exact solution of the equations of motion of a test particle near a thick domain walls. From the solution it has been shown that the domain walls have repulsive gravitational fields.     

Surface tension and density measurements for indium and uranium using a sessile-drop apparatus with glow discharge cleaning

The sessile-drop method is used to measure the surface tension and density of liquid indium and uranium under high vacuum. Measurements are made over the temperature range 156–500°C for In and at the melting point for U. Surface oxides are efficiently removed with a glow discharge system. Drop profiles are captured by photograph and processed using nonlinear regression to yield the surface tension and density. In this regression procedure, normal distances from calculated profiles to data points are minimized. For indium, the density and surface tension measurements yield _mp = 7.05 × 10³kg/m³, d/dT = −0.776 kg/m³·°C, and γ_mp = 0.568 N/m, dγ/dT = −9.45 × 10⁻⁵ N/m·°C. The results for uranium at the melting point are _mp = 17.47 × 10³ kg/m³ and γ_mp = 1.653 N/m.

Directional crystallization and self-assembling initiated by mechanical shock or electron beam in nanocrystalline Co-C and Fe-C films

We investigated iron and cobalt films with 20% carbon concentration with nanocrystalline structure. One of the aims of this work is to analyze the physical nature of high-speed structural self-assembling as often happens in explosive crystallization processes in these films.     

自体静脉移植血管的拉伸实验研究

本文考察了自体移植静脉的纵向应力应变关系。将狗股静脉移植于股动脉，在术后不同时间切取移植静脉进行纵向单轴拉伸实验。结果表明，移植静脉的应力－应变曲线比正常静脉靠近应力坐标轴并在术后逐渐向左移动。这显示了移植血管管壁组织在术后的逐渐硬化。     

Testing Extreme Value Conditions

A test statistic is developed that checks the validity of the extreme value conditions without specifiying the shape parameter of the limiting extreme value distribution.     

Flexural rigidity of a liquid surface

The energy of a mass of liquid is evaluated asymptotically in powers of the range of the intermolecular potential divided by a typical dimension of the liquid. The leading term is the internal energy, proportional to the liquid volume. The second term is the energy of surface tension, proportional to the area of the liquid surface. The third term is proportional to an integral over this surface of the square of the mean curvature of the surface minus one-third of its Gaussian curvature. This new term has exactly the form of the bending energy of a thin elastic plate. Comparing it with the bending energy yields expressions for the flexural rigidity and the Poisson ratio of the liquid surface. This flexural rigidity of the surface leads to new terms in the equation of equilibrium of the liquid surface, in addition to the usual surface tension terms.
