The paper selects and develops appropriate numerical solutionmethods for initial boundary value problems of the equations of motionof geometrically nonlinear extensible Euler–Bernoulli-beams. A finiteelement method that uses first-order Hermitian polynomials as interpolationfunctions for the rod axis position vector is used as discretizationtechnique. An averaging method for the calculation of net forces andmoments is developed that achieves a better approximation than thedirect calculation from the strains. Time integration is done usingan energy and momentum conserving algorithm that is proposed in thispaper and Newmark type methods. The derived algorithms are used tosolve problems from space and marine engineering. The obtained simulationresults are compared with results which have been already publishedin the literature or were calculated by different methods.  相似文献

考虑索的抗弯刚度、垂度及几何非线性的影响,得出了索一阻尼器系统的空间非线性振动偏微分方程,用中心差分法将微分方程在空间内离散,导出了系统的非线性振动常微分方程组。结合Newmark法及虚拟力法提出了一种用于求解非线性振动瞬态响应的杂交分析算法。并以典型的斜拉桥拉索为研究对象,给出了数值算例,并与Runge—Kutta直接积分法进行了比较,说明了杂交算法的准确性及有效性。  相似文献

This paper presents acoustic emission (AE) monitoring of damage initiation and progression in carbon-fiber-reinforced-polymer (CFRP) stay cables subject to largescale laboratory tests. The research is part of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), larger project on the design and construction of a new cable-stayed bridge made of advanced composites. No previous use of AE on large-size CFRP stay cables appears in the literature. Three types of cables of potential use in the UCSD composite bridge were tested at lengths ranging from 5500 mm to 5870 mm. The AE events were monitored to detect damage and provide a qualitative correlation with the type of structural failure. The tests allowed a comparative characterization of the failure behavior of the three types of cables under investigation. An additional study was performed to characterize acoustic attenuation and dispersion phenomena that are relevant to AE testing of largescale CFRP cables. It is shown that despite their large size, these cables are excellent acoustic wave guides exhibiting very low attenuation. Finally, this study shows promising results for an effective use of in situ AE for health monitoring of these structural components in service.  相似文献

基于增量热场理论,利用Hamilton变分原理,通过引入与张拉力和垂度相关的无量纲参数,建立了考虑温度变化影响下斜拉索非线性动力学模型,并推导其面内/外非线性运动微分方程。考虑斜拉索受端部激励,利用Galerkin法得到离散后的无穷维常微分方程组。面内和面外运动各取前两阶模态,向前和向后扫频,利用龙格-库塔法数值积分求解常微分方程组,得到共振区域的幅频响应曲线。算例分析表明,温度变化和斜拉索固有频率呈反比例关系;温度变化会导致斜拉索共振特性发生定性和定量的改变,如共振区间发生漂移、跳跃点位置发生移动、共振响应幅值发生改变;端部位移激励下,温度变化有可能导致斜拉索更多模态受到激发,从而影响各阶模态的能量以及模态间的能量传递。  相似文献

Taking the bending stiffness, static sag, and geometric non-linearity into consideration, the space nonlinear vibration partial differential equations were derived. The partical differential equations were discretized in space by finite center difference approximation, then the nonlinear ordinal differential equations were obtained. A hybrid method involving the combination of the Newmark method and the pseudo-force strategy was proposed to analyze the nonlinear transient response of the inclined cable-dampers system subjected to arbitrary dynamic loading. As an example, two typical stay cables were calculated by the present method. The results reveal both the validity and the deficiency of the viscoelasticity damper for vibration control of stay cables. The efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method is also verified by comparing the results with those obtained by using Runge-Kutta direct integration technique. A new time history analysis method is provided for the research on the stay cable vibration control.  相似文献

导出了拉索在考虑垂度以及索张力沿索长变化时的参激随机微分方程,进一步给出了预测拉索在窄带随机激励下响应的近似理论解------用统计矩截断法求解矩方程,获得高斯闭合解和一阶非高斯闭合解. 以南京长江二桥约330米长的A20拉索为研究对象,对以上高斯闭合解和一阶非高斯闭合解进一步进行数值求解以获得拉索的响应,并采用Monte-Carlo数值方法对求解进行验证. 分析了拉索振动的一般特征,特别分析了激励中心频率和拉索频率比为1和2时的响应随激励带宽的变化特征,得到了一些新的结论.   相似文献
