探索山西晋城煤在灰熔聚流化床气化过程中的结渣机理。采用山西晋城无烟煤,将其破碎到不同粒径,采用XRF、XRD、AFT、SEM和FactSage~(TM)研究了煤的灰分、煤灰化学组成、矿物组成和熔融性随煤样粒径变化规律。结果发现,对于破碎到6 mm以下的晋城煤样,不同粒径子样煤灰化学组成和熔融温度差异不大;对于粉磨到0.2 mm以下的晋城煤粉样品,不同粒径子样化学组成和矿物组成存在较大差异,其中,铁含量差异最明显。AFT和SEM结果都证明,45μm粒径煤粉子样煤灰熔融温度明显高于其他三种样品。Fact SageTM计算得到的液相量变化规律和AFT、SEM观察结果一致,说明煤灰熔融性随粒径变化是煤灰化学成分离析造成的,而SiO2-Al_2O_3-Fe_2O_3三元相图较好地解释了晋城煤煤灰熔融性随粒径变化机理。  相似文献

A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of the gas–solids two-phase flow in a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) riser is carried out. The Eularian–Eularian method with the kinetic theory of granular flow is used to solve the gas–solids two-phase flow in the CFB riser. The wall boundary condition of the riser is defined based on the Johnson and Jackson wall boundary theory (Johnson & Jackson, 1987) with specularity coefficient and particle–wall restitution coefficient. The numerical results show that these two coefficients in the wall boundary condition play a major role in the predicted solids lateral velocity, which affects the solid particle distribution in the CFB riser. And the effect of each of the two coefficients on the solids distribution also depends on the other one. The generality of the CFD model is further validated under different operating conditions of the CFB riser.  相似文献

Because of their advantages of high efficiency and low cost, numerical research methods for large-scale circulating fluidized bed (CFB) apparatus are gaining ever more importance. This article presents a numer- ical study of gas-solid flow dynamics using the Eulerian granular multiphase model with a drag coefficient correction based on the energy-minimization multi-scale (EMMS) model. A three-dimensional, full-loop, time-dependent simulation of the hydrodynamics of a dense CFB apparatus is performed. The process parameters (e.g., operating and initial conditions) are provided in accordance with the real experiment to enhance the accuracy of the simulation. The axial profiles of the averaged solid volume fractions and the solids flux at the outlet of the cyclone are in reasonable agreement with experimental data, thereby verifying the applicability of the mathematical and physical models. As a result, the streamline in the riser and standpipe as well as the solids distribution contours at the cross sections is analyzed. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) serves as a basis for CFB modeling to help resolve certain issues long in dispute but difficult to address experimentally. The results of this study provide the basis of a general approach to describing dynamic simulations of gas-solid flows.  相似文献

Heat transfer and pressure drop were measured for flow of aqueous solutions of Carbopol 934 ® and Carbopol EZ1 ® through a vertical tube filled with porous media. The heated stainless steel test section has an inside diameter of 2.25 cm, and is 200 diameters long. The porosity was varied from 0.32 to 0.68 by using uniform spherical glass beads. Uniform heat flux thermal boundary condition was imposed by passing direct electric current through the tube wall. Over a range of 45 < Re a < 7,000, 21 < Pr a < 58, 0.62 < n < 0.80, 1.6 < D/d < 4.5, and polymer concentration from 250 to 500 ppm, the friction factor data agreed with the Newtonian prediction. Heat transfer to power-law fluids increases with increasing Re a and Pr a , and decreasing porosity. A new correlation was proposed for predicting the heat transfer to power-law fluid flows through confined porous media.  相似文献

A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code was connected with a systematic optimization algorithm to find the optimum settings for nitric oxide (NO) emission minimization in the bubbling fluidized bed boiler. This approach is superior to the typical approach in which CFD is used to calculate only a few intuitively selected cases, and the best case found is treated as the ‘optimum’ solution. Ammonia injection (selective non-catalytic reduction) is applied to control NO emission in the modelled fluidized bed boiler. Design variables consisted of ammonia mass flow from distinct injections. Genetic algorithm (GA) was used for the optimization. The predicted NO emission was reduced approximately 15% with respect to the current operating point by the application of GA and CFD. The use of CFD connected with systematic optimization algorithm seems to be a promising design tool for combustion process optimization.  相似文献

A theoretical expression related to effective moisture diffusivity to random fiber bed is derived by using fractal theory and considering both parallel and perpendicular channels to diffusion flow direction. In this Letter, macroporous structure of hydrophobic nonwoven material is investigated, and Knudsen diffusion and surface diffusion are neglected. The effective moisture diffusivity predicted by the present fractal model are compared with water vapor transfer rate (WVTR) experiment data and calculated values obtained from other theoretical models. This verifies the validity of the present fractal diffusivity of fibrous structural beds.  相似文献

The mechanical strength of solid catalysts is one of the key parameters for reliable and efficient performance of a fixed bed reactor. Some recent developments and their basic mechanics within this context are reviewed. Themain concepts discussed are brittle fracture which leads to the mechanical failure of the catalyst pellets, measurementand statistical properties of the catalyst strength data, and mechanical reliability of the catalyst pellets and their packed bed. The scientific basis for the issues on the catalyst mechanical properties calls yet for further elucidation and advancement.  相似文献

The performance of a simple counter-current adsorber based on the endless belt concept has been studied for vapor phase operation, using as a model system the adsorption of CO2 from N2 on a silicalite adsorbent. For this system the isotherm is essentially linear. The steady-state performance can be represented either by the Kremser equation or on a McCabe-Thiele operating diagram. The system is equivalent to 3–8 theoretical stages, depending on to the flow conditions, and both the steady-state and transient behavior are reasonably well predicted by this model. Under properly selected operating conditions it is possible to obtain a reduction in the CO2 concentration by a factor of 100.  相似文献

The pressure testing of a hole in porous and permeable rock by gas injection is considered.
