The influence of intragranular slip on grain boundary sliding is studied in originally compatible zinc bicrystals with symmetric tilt boundary. The experiment is designed to separate different effects of intragranular slip on the boundary sliding and establish their mechanisms. Grain boundary sliding with and without development of intragranular slip is observed. The rate of sliding accompanied by slip is more than five times of that without slip. A good correlation between the boundary sliding and intragranular slip prior to slide hardening is established. Slide hardening followed by the negative sliding near one end of the boundary and strain hardening in the boundary vicinity, are observed at the last stages of deformation. For the case of formation of slip induced glissile grain boundary dislocations of opposite signs the possibility of their contribution to total grain boundary sliding, is analyzed. The effect of the increase in the rate of sliding is explained in terms of the accommodation of sliding by slip and appearance of additional glissile grain boundary dislocations of one sign due to strain incompatibility. Contribution of these different dislocation mechanisms to the increase in the sliding rate is determined for the stage of deformation preceding slide hardening. It is supposed that the effect of slide hardening and negative sliding as well as boundary curving is created by non-smooth boundary and small degree of incompatibility caused by straining.  相似文献

By considering the now in a slider bearing to be a nearly viscometric flow we have examined the effects of variation in viscosity, and normal stress differences on the total resistance and total normal force. We have found that under certain conditions the normal stress differences may be neglected compared with the variation in viscosity. We have found that the effects of variation in viscosity are to reduce the total resistance, and to increase or decrease the total normal force depending on the ratio of the thickness of the liquid at the entry and exit.  相似文献

This paper presents the discrete adaptive sliding mode control of input-output non-minimum phase system in the presence of the stochastic disturbance. The non-minimum phase system can be transformed into a minimum phase system by a operator. According to the minimum phase system, the controller and the adaptive algorithm we designed ensures the stability of system and holds that the mean-square deviation from the sliding surface is minimized.  相似文献

We derived the theoretical results of soliton interactions in optical fiber with super-Gaussian slidingfrequency filters. The results demonstrate that the interactions between optical fiber solitons can be effectively suppressed by super-Gaussian sliding-frequency filters. And the results also show that the super-Gaussian filter with sliding is more effective in suppressing soliton interactions than that without sliding.  相似文献

一种新颖的滑模非线性比例积分控制方法(SMNPIC)被提出用于高精度驱动一类时变不确定混沌系统到任意期望轨道。SMNPIC区别于以前的滑模控制技术之处在于滑动模的一个非线性比例积分函数被包含在控制率中,因此不仅稳态误差和高频抖振都被减小,同时鲁棒性和快速性也能被保证。此外,SMNPIC实际上能被作为一类非线性PID控制器,不仅仅跟踪误差及其直到n-1阶微分被考虑,而且跟踪误差的积分也被考虑,因此有比传统PID更多的有用信息能被使用,因此更好的动静态特性能被获得。通过不确定Duffing-Holmes系统的仿真实例证实了SMNPIC用于混沌控制能获得好的性能。  相似文献

Numerical simulations are used to investigate the influence of heterogeneity in grain-boundary diffusivity and sliding resistance on the creep response of a polycrystal. We model a polycrystal as a two-dimensional assembly of elastic grains, separated by sharp grain boundaries. The crystal deforms plastically by stress driven mass transport along the grain boundaries, together with grain-boundary sliding. Heterogeneity is idealized by assigning each grain boundary one of two possible values of diffusivity and sliding viscosity. We compute steady state and transient creep rates as functions of the diffusivity mismatch and relative fractions of grain boundaries with fast and slow diffusion. In addition, our results show that under transient conditions, flux divergences develop at the intersection between grain boundaries with fast and slow diffusivity, which generate high local stress concentrations. The stress concentrations develop at a rate determined by the fast diffusion coefficient, and subsequently relax at a rate determined by the slow diffusion coefficient. The influence of the mismatch in diffusion coefficient, loading conditions, and material properties on the magnitude of this stress concentration is investigated in detail using a simple model problem with a planar grain boundary. The strain energy associated with these stress concentrations also makes a small fraction of the plastic strain due to diffusion and sliding recoverable on unloading. We discuss the implications of these results for conventional polycrystalline solids at high temperatures and for nanostructured materials where grain-boundary diffusion becomes one of the primary inelastic deformation mechanisms even at room temperature.  相似文献

This paper presents a sliding mode controller for a “Soft” 2-DOF Planar Pneumatic Manipulator actuated by pleated pneumatic artificial muscle actuators. Since actuator dynamics is not negligible, an approximate model for pressure dynamics was taken into account, which made it necessary to perform full input-output feedback linearization in order to design a sliding mode controller.
