The problem of rational profiling of equal-stress-reinforced Kirchhoff plates subjected to purely elastic and elastoplastic transverse bending is formulated. A qualitative analysis of the systems of resolving equations is carried out. It is found that the problem can have two possible solutions, which can be controlled. By particular calculations, it is shown that, through rational profiling of the bent plates, the consumption of phase materials in them can be reduced greatly compared with that in traditional ones, or the load-carrying capacity of the plates can be raised significantly at a fixed consumption of phase materials. 相似文献

Weak fault signals, high coupling data, and unknown faults commonly exist in fault diagnosis systems, causing low detection and identification performance of fault diagnosis methods based on statistics or cross entropy. This paper proposes a new fault diagnosis method based on optimal bandwidth kernel density estimation (KDE) and Jensen–Shannon (JS) divergence distribution for improved fault detection performance. KDE addresses weak signal and coupling fault detection, and JS divergence addresses unknown fault detection. Firstly, the formula and algorithm of the optimal bandwidth of multidimensional KDE are presented, and the convergence of the algorithm is proved. Secondly, the difference in JS divergence between the data is obtained based on the optimal KDE and used for fault detection. Finally, the fault diagnosis experiment based on the bearing data from Case Western Reserve University Bearing Data Center is conducted. The results show that for known faults, the proposed method has and higher detection rate than statistics and the cross entropy method, respectively. For unknown faults, statistics cannot effectively detect faults, and the proposed method has approximately higher detection rate than the cross entropy method. Due to recent advances in rare-earth technologies, application of permanent magnets has gained a new interest. As bearing elements, permanent magnets offer important advantages, such as the noticeable reduction of friction losses and the capability of achieving high speeds. A tapered geometry is investigated by means of finite element analysis and by a purpose-developed software based on magnetostatic integral equations. On the basis of the equivalent currents method, some basic relations have also been obtained that permit to study the influence of the magnetization angles, once four 'geometry' vectors are known. The present study may be used as a starting point for an optimization procedure on the shape and magnetization directions of permanent magnet bearings. 相似文献

使用Spectro Lab M8光电直读光谱仪所提供的Fe-30不锈钢分析程序测定高锰不锈钢中硫量时,所得测定值均偏低。为此,改用高锰不锈钢国家光谱标准样品和内控样品,重新确定了干扰元素(特别是锰)的基体校正模式及测定硫元素的回归分析曲线。通过7个不同含锰量的不锈钢标准样品的分析验证,证明采用经过改进的方法所得测定值均与认定值一致,其绝对误差值均小于JIS标准的允许差。 相似文献

A parallel sliding mesh algorithm for the finite element simulation of viscous fluid flows in agitated tanks is presented. Lagrange multipliers are used at the sliding interfaces to enforce the continuity between the fixed and moving subdomains. The novelty of the method consists of the coupled solution of the resulting velocity–pressure‐Lagrange multipliers system of equations by an ILU(0)‐QMR solver. A penalty parameter is introduced for both the interface and the incompressibility constraints to avoid pivoting problems in the ILU(0) algorithm. To handle the convective term, both the Newton–Raphson scheme and the semi‐implicit linearization are tested. A penalty parameter is introduced for both the interface and the incompressibility constraints to avoid the failure of the ILU(0) algorithm due to the lack of pivoting. Furthermore, this approach is versatile enough so that it allows partitioning of sliding and fixed subdomains if parallelization is required. Although the sliding mesh technique is fairly common in CFD, the main advantage of the proposed approach is its low computational cost due to the inexpensive and parallelizable calculations that involve preconditioned sparse iterative solvers.
