(t,m,s)‐nets are point sets in Euclidean s‐space satisfying certain uniformity conditions, for use in numerical integration. They can be equivalently described in terms of ordered orthogonal arrays, a class of finite geometrical structures generalizing orthogonal arrays. This establishes a link between quasi‐Monte Carlo methods and coding theory. The ambient space is a metric space generalizing the Hamming space of coding theory. We denote it by NRT space (named after Niederreiter, Rosenbloom and Tsfasman). Our main results are generalizations of coding‐theoretic constructions from Hamming space to NRT space. These comprise a version of the Gilbert‐Varshamov bound, the (u,u+υ)‐construction and concatenation. We present a table of the best known parameters of q‐ary (t,m,s)‐nets for qε{2,3,4,5} and dimension m≤50. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We consider a problem of modeling the thermal diffusion process in a closed metal wire wrapped around a thin sheet of insulation material. The layer of insulation is assumed to be slightly permeable. Therefore, the temperature value from one side affects the diffusion process on the other side. For this reason, the standard heat equation is modified, and a third term with an involution is added. Modeling of this process leads to the consideration of an inverse problem for a one‐dimensional fractional evolution equation with involution and with periodic boundary conditions with respect to a space variable. This equation interpolates heat equation. Such equations are also called nonlocal subdiffusion equations or nonlocal heat equations. The inverse problem consists in the restoration (simultaneously with the solution) of the unknown right‐hand side of the equation, which depends only on the spatial variable. The conditions for overdefinition are initial and final states. Existence and uniqueness results for the given problem are obtained via the method of separation of variables.  相似文献

供应链网络的运输过程是碳排放的主要来源之一,道路拥堵、配送距离和车辆载重等因素会影响碳排放量,本文研究考虑拥堵路况下碳排放的选址-配送集成优化问题。根据车辆行驶状态定义道路拥堵情况,以不同时段下拥堵概率和预期拥堵距离作为路况决定因素,构建碳排放量和经济成本都最小的两目标模型。设计改进的非支配排序遗传算法(NSGA-II)求解模型获得Pareto解集。以环境问题较重的北京和天津为中心构建供应链网络作为算例,验证了模型和算法的有效性和可行性。实验结果给出了不同偏好下供应链网络的构建方案,并对不同时段下决定路况的拥堵概率和预期拥堵距离以及车辆载重进行灵敏度分析。实验结果表明,相对于高速公路,城市道路不同时段对碳排放量影响更敏感。  相似文献

Let p be an odd prime, s, m be positive integers, γ,λ be nonzero elements of the finite field Fpm such that γps=λ. In this paper, we show that, for any positive integer η, the Hamming distances of all repeated-root λ-constacyclic codes of length ηps can be determined by those of certain simple-root γ-constacyclic codes of length η. Using this result, Hamming distances of all constacyclic codes of length 4ps are obtained. As an application, we identify all MDS λ-constacyclic codes of length 4ps.  相似文献

In a recent paper, Nguyen et al. (2018) built a distributionally robust estimator for the precision matrix of the Gaussian distribution. The distributional uncertainty size is a key ingredient in the construction of this estimator. We develop a statistical theory which shows how to optimally choose the uncertainty size to minimize the associated Stein loss. Surprisingly, rather than the expected canonical square-root scaling rate, the optimal uncertainty size scales linearly with the sample size.  相似文献

We provide a bound on a distance between finitely supported elements and general elements of the unit sphere of ?2(N1). We use this bound to estimate the Wasserstein-2 distance between random variables represented by linear combinations of independent random variables. Our results are expressed in terms of a discrepancy measure related to Nourdin–Peccati’s Malliavin–Stein method. The main application is towards the computation of quantitative rates of convergence to elements of the second Wiener chaos. In particular, we explicit these rates for non-central asymptotic of sequences of quadratic forms and the behavior of the generalized Rosenblatt process at extreme critical exponent.  相似文献

In this article we consider linear codes coming from skew-symmetric determinantal varieties, which are defined by the vanishing of minors of a certain fixed size in the space of skew-symmetric matrices.
