The formation of liquid sulfate aerosols in the isobaric axisymmetric plume of a subsonic aircraft is modeled numerically. The specific features of the appearance and evolution of sulfate aerosols attributable to 2D effects, such as the parameter nonuniformity in the initial section (at the nozzle outlet), mixing of the hot engine jet with the cold air stream, and the transverse turbulent diffusion of aerosol particles and gas mixture components. The equations of gas dynamics for a turbulent axisymmetric jet, the equations of chemical kinetics, the equations for the liquid fractions (water and sulfuric acid), and the relations for the binary nucleation, condensation growth and coagulation of aerosol particles are used. The distributions of the parameters determining the formation of the aerosol phase in the exhaust plume of a B-747 aircraft are obtained and the geometry of the nucleation zone in this plume is determined.  相似文献

In a previous paper, the dynamic behaviour of a Jeffcott rotor was studied in the presence of pure static unbalance and nonlinear elastic restoring forces. The present paper extends the analysis to a rigid rotor with an axial length such as to make the transverse moment of inertia greater than the axial one. As in the previous investigation, the elastic restoring forces are assumed to be nonlinear and the effects of couple unbalance are also included but, unlike the Jeffcott rotor, the system exhibits six degrees-of-freedom. The Lagrangian coordinates were fixed so as to coincide with the three coordinates of the centre of mass of the rotor and the three angular coordinates needed in order to express the rotor's rotations with respect to a reference frame having its origin in the centre of mass. The precession motions of such a rotor turn out to be cylindrical at low angular speeds and exhibit a conical aspect when operating at higher speeds. The motion equations of the rotor were written with reference to a system that was subsequently adopted for the experimental analysis. The particular feature of this system was the use of a steel wire (piano wire) for the rotor shaft, suitably constrained and with the possibility of regulating the tension of the wire itself, in order to increase or reduce the nonlinear character of the system. The numerical analysis performed with integration of the motion equations made it possible to point out that chaotic solutions were manifested only when the tension in the wire was given the lowest values – i.e. when the system was strongly nonlinear – in the presence of considerable damping and rotor unbalance values that were so high as to lose any practical significance. Under conditions commonly shared by analogous real systems characterised by poor damping, where the contribution to nonlinearity is almost entirely due to elastic restoring forces, the analysis pointed out that precession motions may be manifested with a periodic character, whether synchronous or not, or a quasi-periodic character, but in no case is the solution chaotic.  相似文献

Screw rotors play a crucial role in the performance of compressors. For the large-batch production of small- or medium-sized rotors, continuously rotor hobbing or grinding may be more efficient than form machining. In this study, a general mathematical model was developed for the generating machining of screw rotors with a worm-shaped tool. A two-parameter enveloping theory was applied to simulate the cutting process as the tool conducts polynomial feed motion considering its cutting edge. The normal errors of the generated cutting lines were computed and presented on the rotor tooth surface topologies to show the correctness and practicability of the proposed model.  相似文献

A nonlinear model of a low pressure cylinder-generator rotor system is presented to study sub-synchronous resonance and combined resonance. Analytical results are obtained by an averaging method. Transition sets and bifurcation diagrams are obtained based on the singularity theory for the two-state variable system. The bifurcation characteristics are analyzed to provide a basis for the optimal design and fault diagnosis of the rotor system. 基于RANS方程,通过刚性动网格技术实现对翼型和机翼典型运动模式的描述,采用双时间推进方法和Roe空间离散格式对流场求解,构建了一个非定常气动计算平台;以NACA0012翼型为算倒进行了动态数值模拟可信度验证。数值模拟结果与试验数据吻合较好,升力和俯仰力矩的最大计算误差分别为3%和10%,表明了该平台的可靠性。另外,还数值模拟了M6机翼的动态非定常流场,并分析了两种湍流模型对非定常流场激波的捕捉能力。结果表明非定常流动中S-A湍流模型对激波的捕捉较B-L模型更敏感。文中开发的非定常计算平台对进一步解决三维复杂流场的流动问题有很高的工程应用价值。  相似文献
