The notion of Hochschild homology of a dg algebra admits a natural dualization, the coHochschild homology of a dg coalgebra, introduced in [23] as a tool to study free loop spaces. In this article we prove “agreement” for coHochschild homology, i.e., that the coHochschild homology of a dg coalgebra C is isomorphic to the Hochschild homology of the dg category of appropriately compact C-comodules, from which Morita invariance of coHochschild homology follows. Generalizing the dg case, we define the topological coHochschild homology (coTHH) of coalgebra spectra, of which suspension spectra are the canonical examples, and show that coTHH of the suspension spectrum of a space X is equivalent to the suspension spectrum of the free loop space on X, as long as X is a nice enough space (for example, simply connected.) Based on this result and on a Quillen equivalence established in [24], we prove that “agreement” holds for coTHH as well.  相似文献

Nonaromatic, cross‐conjugated, and highly twisted luminogens consisting of acylated succinimides demonstrate aggregation‐induced emission characteristics along with tunable multicolor photoluminescence and afterglows in their single crystals. Effective through‐space conjugation among different moieties bearing n/π electrons promote the spin–orbit coupling and intersystem crossing and lead to diverse emissive clusters with concurrently rigidified conformations, thus allowing readily tunable emissions. Derived from it, the proof‐of‐concept application for advanced anti‐counterfeiting is illustrated. These results should spur the rational design of novel nonaromatic AIEgens, and moreover advance understandings of the non‐traditional intrinsic luminescence and the origin of tunable multicolor afterglows.  相似文献

Stibinyl and bismuthinyl radicals are recognized as representative intermediates of antimony and bismuth compounds, but still elusive in the condensed phase. We successfully synthesized persistent stibinyl and bismuthinyl radicals in solution by facile dissociation of the corresponding dimers with bulky substituents. We characterized the radicals by NMR and UV/Vis spectroscopy and estimated the thermodynamic parameters for the dissociation equilibria. The radicals show n→p (HOMO→SOMO) transition bands at 497 nm (stibinyl) and 543 nm (bismuthinyl) in 3‐methylpentane and react with a stable nitroxyl radical to give the cross‐radical coupling products in good yields.  相似文献

We establish a rational isomorphism between certain relative versions of Hermitian K-theory and the dihedral homology of simplicial Hermitian rings. This is the dihedral analogue of Goodwillie's result for cyclic homology and algebraic K-theory. In particular, we describe involutions on (negative) cyclic homology and the K-theory of simplicial rings. We show that Goodwillie's map from K-theory to negative cyclic homology can be chosen to preserve involutions. By work of Burghelea and Fiedorowicz the invariants of the involution on K-theory can be identified with symmetric Hermitian K-theory. Finally, we show how the author's chain complex defining dihedral homology can be extended to the left to capture the invariants of the involution on negative cyclic homology.Supported by New Mexico State University, grant No. RC90-051.  相似文献

We study the generalized homology associated with a nilpotent endomorphism d satisfying d N = 0,For simplicial modules, we construct such nilpotent endomorphisms and we prove a general result relating the corresponding generalized homologies to the ordinary homology. Crystallography has proven a rich source of ideas over several centuries. Among the many ways of looking at space groups, N. David Mermin has pioneered the Fourier-space approach. Recently, we have supplemented this approach with methods borrowed from algebraic topology. We now show what topology, which studies global properties of manifolds, has to do with crystallography. No mathematics is assumed beyond what the typical physics or crystallography student will have seen of group theory; in particular, the reader need not have any prior exposure to topology or to cohomology of groups.  相似文献

In this paper we review our recent study of coherent electronic properties of coupled two-dimensional quantum dot arrays using numerical exact-diagonalization methods on a Mott–Hubbard type correlated tight-binding model. We predict the existence of a novel kind of persistent current in a two-dimensionalisolatedarray of quantum dots in a transverse magnetic field. We calculate the conductance spectrum for resonant tunneling transport through a coherent two-dimensional array of quantum dots in the Coulomb Blockade regime. We also calculate the effective two-terminal capacitance of an array coupled to bias leads.  相似文献

Let be a differentiable map of a closed m-dimensional manifold into an (m + k)-dimensional manifold with k > 0. We show, assuming that f is generic in a certain sense, that f is an embedding if and only if the (m - k + 1)-th Betti numbers with respect to the Čech homology of M and f(M) coincide, under a certain condition on the stable normal bundle of f. This generalizes the authors' previous result for immersions with normal crossings [BS1]. As a corollary, we obtain the converse of the Jordan-Brouwer theorem for codimension-1 generic maps, which is a generalization of the results of [BR, BMS1, BMS2, Sae1] for immersions with normal crossings.
