PERIODIC REACTION AND TURBULENCE OF CHEMICAL BRUSSELATOR

In this paper,we discuss the reaction model of tri-molecules and the exi- stence of periodic reaction under certain original density conditions of two ob- jects without diffusion phenomena.We prove that the periodic reaction exhibit some chemical phenomena that violate the second law of thermo-mechanics. Finally,we research similar properties and phenomena concerning Belousov- Zhabotinsky reaction model.     

The effect of two-photon absorption and optical excitation area on the generation of THz radiation

It was found experimentally that the THz radiation throughput based on optical rectification is strongly related to the optical excitation size in a ZeTe emitter. The factors affecting the THz radiation throughput are investigated in detail both experimentally and theoretically. By taking into account optical rectification, diffraction and two-photon absorption effects, a theoretical model is established to describe the emitting field intensity of THz radiation. There is excellent agreement between the theoretical results and the experimental data under high excitation power. Both theoretical and experimental results demonstrate that there is a trade-off between these three effects for THz radiation, and that in order to increase the THz radiation throughput based on optical rectification, one should choose suitable excitation size under a given pump power.     

Bifurcations of heteroclinic loops

By generalizing the Floquet method from periodic systems to systems with exponential dichotomy, a local coordinate system is established in a neighborhood of the heteroclinic loop Γ to study the bifurcation problems of homoclinic and periodic orbits. Asymptotic expressions of the bifurcation surfaces and their relative positions are given. The results obtained in literature concerned with the 1-hom bifurcation surfaces are improved and extended to the nontransversal case. Existence regions of the 1-per orbits bifurcated from Γ are described, and the uniqueness and incoexistence of the 1-hom and 1-per orbit and the inexistence of the 2-hom and 2-per orbit are also obtained. Wave Regimes of Viscous Film Flow down a Vertical Cylinder

The flow of a viscous liquid film down a vertical cylinder in the gravity field is considered. In the case of small Reynolds numbers for long-wave perturbations on a cylinder of radius much greater than the film thickness, the problem can be reduced to a single nonlinear equation for the evolution of the film thickness perturbation. For axially symmetric solutions, this equation coincides with the well-known Sivashinsky-Kuramoto equation. The results of a numerical analysis of this equation for three-dimensional stationary traveling solutions of the problem are reported. The effect of the problem parameters on the solution behavior is demonstrated. Soliton type solutions are presented.     

Frobenius Pairs with Perfect Involutions

An involution i of a group G is said to be perfect in G if any two non-commuting involutions in i^G are conjugated by an involution in the same class. We generalize theorems of Jordan and M. Gibbs measures for the SOS model with four states on a Cayley tree

We analyze the SOS (solid-on-solid) model with spins 0, 1, 2, 3 on a Cayley tree of order k ≥ 1. We consider translation-invariant and periodic splitting Gibbs measures for this model. 薄膜电致发光器件中SiO2加速作用的直接证据

本文通过包含CdS层的薄膜电致发光(TFEL)器件的有关特性的研究,直接证明了SIO₂对CdS中产生的电子有良好的加速作用,并获得了阈值电压低、B-V特性好,亮度较高的红色TFEL器件.我们将硫化镉蒸镀于电致发光器件中,测量这些器件的电学和光学特性,发现含CdS的样品的传导电荷明显大于不含CdS的样品,这说明硫化镉层可以提供较多的电子.但是,样品ITO/SiO₂/ZnS:Sm³⁺/SiO₂/CdS/Al的发光效率低于不含硫化镐的样品,这说明这些电子在进入ZnS层的过程中能量有所降低.为了提高这些电子的能量,我们制备了样品ITO/SiO₂/ZnS:Sm³⁺/SiO₂/CdS/Al,使硫化镉中产生的电子先经过SiO₂层,再进入发光层.测量结果表明这一样品的最大亮度和发光效率与上述含硫化镉的样品相比分别提高了2.5个和0.5个数量级,与不含硫化镉的样品的亮度接近,但其阈值电压较低,亮度-电压(B-V)曲线上升部分较陡,且有一段饱和区.在这一样品达到饱和的电压下,不含硫化镉的样品才刚刚起亮,这说明该样品的发光主要是由于硫化镉增加的电子数目对发光的贡献.同时这些电子在SiO₂中得到了明显的加速.
