First-principles calculations are performed to compute the e33 piezoelectric coefficients of GaN, ScN and (ScxGa1-xN) alloys exhibiting an alternation of hexagonal GaN, with hexagonal ScN along the c-axis. For Sc compositions larger than 50%, each atom has nearly five nearest neighbors (i.e., the ground state exhibits a phase that is five-fold coordinated). On the other hand, Sc-deficient (Sc, Ga) N alloys adopt a ground-state that is four-fold coordinated). The magnitude of e33 in the Sc-deficient ideally ordered (Sc0.25Ga0.75N) is found to be larger than the magnitude of the corresponding e33 coefficients resulting from the compositional weighted average over the hexagonal (h-ScN) and the wurtzite (w-GaN) parent compounds. On the other hand, the e33 coefficients of the Sc-rich ordered (Sc0.75Ga0.25N) is found to be negligibly small. In addition, e33 piezoelectric coefficients in ordered (Sc0.5Ga0.5N) exhibit quite large magnitudes, due to the nonpolar to polar transition occurs at Sc composition x = 0.5, and thus can bridge the corresponding coefficients of (Ga, In) N and ferroelectric alloys. The microscopic origins for this huge enhancement in the piezoelectric behavior in Sc-low and Sc-intermediate alloys and the role of each atom are revealed and discussed.  相似文献

本文对现有的太阳池辐射透射模型及稳态热效率模型进行了改进,改进的模型既考虑了池水浊度的影响又考虑了池内多重反射的影响,更接近实际情况。在改进的稳态热效率模型基础上,通过数值模拟的方法,对太阳池非对流层最佳厚度及其最大效率的相关影响因素作了较为详细的分析和讨论。认为太阳池非对流层最佳厚度及其最大效率取决于太阳池尺寸和结构、太阳辐射强度、储热层和上对流层的温差、太阳辐射在水中的透射率、池底反射率、水浊度、池水的物理特性以及池深度等综合因素,其中,△T/I0(储热层和上对流层的温差与水面太阳辐射强度的比值)是影响太阳池非对流层最佳厚度的主要因素,这为太阳池高效运行提供了理论指导。  相似文献

提出了一种改进的双波长TEA CO2激光器,不仅具有良好的空间重叠性,而且具有比较理想的时间同步性.该激光器由两个空间上部分重叠的光栅和一个锗镜构成光栅-平面腔,两个光栅前后放置,相互利用,共同建立双频振荡,由锗镜输出双波长激光.通过改变两光栅的有效面积,对两输出脉冲空间重叠性进行调节;通过改变两光栅的角度形成的失谐缩小输出脉冲的时间间隔,达到时间同步性.实验表明,可以在空间重叠性的基础上使两输出脉冲的时间间隔由1 000 ns调整到200 ns.  相似文献

In 2005, Zhang presented a Grubin-like inlet zone analysis to the isothermal line contact elastohydrodynamic lubrication under relatively heavy loads when the hydrodynamic film thickness in the Hertzian zone approaches zero and the EHL fluid is Newtonian [Zhang, Y.B. A justification of the load-carrying capacity of elastohydrodynamic lubrication film based on the Newtonian fluid model. Industrial Lubrication and Tribology, 2005, Vol. 57, pp. 224–232]. His results showed that in this EHL, when the rolling speed is lower than the characteristic rolling speed (Uch =) 0.0372W1.50/G, the Hertzian zone is in physical adsorbed layer boundary lubrication while the inlet zone is in conventional hydrodynamic lubrication. This mode of EHL represents a mode of mixed EHL with mixed contact regimes, where hydrodynamic films with different rheological behaviors occur in different areas of the contact. The present paper presents an analysis to this mode of mixed EHL by using the Grubin type method when the contact adhering layer in the inlet zone is neglected. Pressures, film thicknesses and load partition in the contact are obtained from this analysis. It is also found that the formula for the characteristic rolling speed Uch = 0.0372W1.50/G obtained by Zhang [Zhang, Y.B. A justification of the load-carrying capacity of elastohydrodynamic lubrication film based on the Newtonian fluid model. Industrial Lubrication and Tribology, 2005, Vol. 57, pp. 224–232] may be valid for the dimensionless load W > 1.0E−7, while it may be invalid for the dimensionless load W < 1.0E−8. (doi:10.1016/j.molliq.2006.04.007)] will be presented an analysis to other two modes of mixed EHL with mixed contact regimes for relatively heavy loads, low rolling speeds and Newtonian fluids, where the conventional hydrodynamic lubrication, physical adsorbed layer boundary lubrication and oxidized chemical layer boundary lubrication can simultaneously occur in the inlet zone while the oxidized chemical layer boundary lubrication or the fresh metal-oxidized chemical boundary layer dry contact occur in the Hertzian zone, considering the contact adhering layer effect in the inlet zone.  相似文献

For the packaging of a pump laser in butterfly package, the most crucial assembly step is the fiber-to-laser diode coupling and attachment. The use of laser welding as the joining method offers several advantages if compared with the adhesive joints: strong joining strength, short process time and less contamination. This paper reports on laser welding process characteristics; weld strength and its fracture mode. The penetration depth and melt area of laser spot welds were found to be complicated functions of laser pulse energy, intensity, and beam diameter. Effects of pulse width, input power and size of the focal spot on the rate of energy input to the workpieces and consequently, the weld strength were reported. The weld strength was found to be dependent on the overlapping area between the two joining materials. Surface roughness, Ra, has influence on the fraction of energy absorbed, A, and therefore, affecting the penetration depth. Thermal analysis was carried out on the laser-welded joints and its heat-affected zone (HAZ) induced by various power densities was examined. These data are important in order to optimize and utilize the laser welding process as an effective manufacturing tool for fabrication of reliable pump laser.  相似文献

果冻内爆实验是一种研究柱形汇聚条件下Rayleigh-Taylor不稳定性的实验方法,由于高速摄影图像不能分辨反弹阶段果冻内界面的扰动,因此采用中低能X光照相CCD相机接收技术开展果冻与气体混合区域的实验研究,获得了果冻环在不同时刻压缩、反弹的发展状况及其内外边界,并观测到果冻质量分数降低时果冻与气体混合界面的变化。实验结果表明:X光照相可作为测量湍流混合区域的半定量测试技术,有助于研究果冻内爆中的气液界面Rayleigh-Taylor不稳定性现象。  相似文献

This paper describes the unusual sooting structure of three flames established by the laminar recirculation zones of a centerbody burner. The vertically mounted burner consists of an annular air jet and a central fuel jet separated by a bluff-body. The three ethylene fueled flames are identified as: fully sooting, donut-shape, and ring-shape sooting flames. Different shapes of the soot structures are obtained by varying the N2 dilution in the fuel and air jets while maintaining a constant air and fuel velocity of 1.2 m/s. All three flames have the unusual characteristic that the soot, entrained into the recirculation zone, follows discrete spiral trajectories that terminate at the center of the vortex. The questions are what cause: (1) the unusual sooting structures and (2) the spiral trajectories of the soot? Flame photographs, laser sheet visualizations, and calculations with a 2D CFD-based code (UNICORN) are used to answer these questions. The different sooting structures are related to the spiral transport of the soot, the spatial location of the stoichiometric flame surface with respect to the vortex center, and the burnout of the soot particles. Computations indicate that the spiral trajectories of the soot particles are due to thermophoresis.  相似文献

A novel diffractive optical element, named phase zone photon sieve (PZPS), is presented. There are three kinds of phase plates in PZPSs: PZPS1, PZPS2, and PZPS3. Each of the PZPSs has its own structure and is made on quartz substrate by etching. The three PZPSs have stronger diffraction peak intensity than a photon sieve (PS) when the margin pinhole and zone line width are kept the same. The PZPS3 can produce a smaller central diffractive spot than the ordinary PS with the same number of zones on the Fresnel zone plate. We have given the design method for and the simulation of PZPS and PS. PZPS has potential applications in optical maskless lithography.  相似文献

Measured and simulated minimum quench energies (MQE) for short samples are doubtful when estimating disturbance tolerance of an impregnated superconducting magnet. If measurements are performed at liquid cryogen, the cooling provided by the cryogen causes MQE to be high. At a conduction-cooled system, the transverse heat conduction is neglected causing low MQE. Even though these conditions can be artificially brought closer to the ones in an impregnated magnet, it is difficult to estimate by short-sample measurement the MQE of a superconducting coil. These similar difficulties are present at simulations. On the other hand, 1D and 2D measurements and simulations can be used, e.g., to compare wires or consider effect of insulation layer thickness, but according to the results only in a rough quantitative way. In this paper, we compare MQE and normal zone propagation velocity simulations of an MgB2 wire with 1D, 2D and 3D finite element method models to focus on the different results given by the models employing different dimensions.  相似文献

It is known that local refractive index change occurs when femtosecond laser pulses with extremely high peak power are launched into glass. We focused 130-femtosecond laser pulses of 800 nm into the bulk of glass and examined the shape of the induced refractive index change. We found that the length of the spot of the refractive index change along the optical axis reached about 30 μm despite the diameter being about 2 μm. To estimate the distribution of induced refractive index change, we fabricated Bragg grating by scanning the focused spot and calculated the amount of the change by applying Kogelnik’s coupled mode theory to the measured diffraction efficiencies of the higher order diffracted beams.  相似文献
