Conditions of stability in sliding mode are obtained for nonstationary dynamic automatic-control processes of variable structure. The nonstationary parameters of a control process subjected to external perturbations vary in given ranges, whereas the parameters of the switching plane remain constant for the appropriately chosen parameters of discontinuous logic control laws. The corresponding system of differential equations contains coefficients that vary stepwise in time together with the parameters of the controlled process. Transition layers arising from square-wave-like periodic solutions of a singularly perturbed delay differential equation are studied. Such transition layers correspond to heteroclinic orbits connecting a pair of equilibria of an associated system of transition layer equations. Assuming a monotonicity condition in the nonlinearity, we prove these transition layer equations possess a unique heteroclinic orbit, and that this orbit is monotone. The response of the boundary layer on a plate with a blunt leading edge to frozen-in vortex perturbations whose vorticity is normal to the plate surface is found. It is shown that these vortices generate an inhomogeneity of the streamwise velocity component in the boundary layer. This inhomogeneity is analogous to the streaky structure developing as the degree of free-stream turbulence increases. The dependence of the amplitude and shape of the boundary layer inhomogeneity on the distance from the leading edge, the streamwise and spanwise scales, and other parameters is found for periodic and local initial perturbations. It is shown that the receptivity of the boundary layer decreases with increase in the frequency and with decrease in the streamwise perturbation scale. 相似文献

Reduced order models for the dynamics of geometrically exact planar rods are derived by projecting the nonlinear equations of motion onto a subspace spanned by a set of proper orthogonal modes. These optimal modes are identified by a proper orthogonal decomposition processing of high-resolution finite element dynamics. A three-degree-of-freedom reduced system is derived to study distinct categories of motions dominated by a single POD mode. The modal analysis of the reduced system characterizes in a unique fashion for these motions, since its linear natural frequencies are near to the natural frequencies of the full-order system. For free motions characterized by a single POD mode, the eigen-vector matrix of the derived reduced system coincides with the principal POD-directions. This property reflects the existence of a normal mode of vibration, which appears to be close to a slow invariant manifold. Its shape is captured by that of the dominant POD mode. The modal analysis of the POD-based reduced order system provides a potentially valuable tool to characterize the spatio-temporal complexity of the dynamics in order to elucidate connections between proper orthogonal modes and nonlinear normal modes of vibration. 相似文献

Some properties of the wavelet transform of trigonometric function, periodic function and nonstationary periodic function have been investigated. The results show that the peak height and width in wavelet energy spectrum of a periodic function are in proportion to its period. At the same time, a new equation, which can truly reconstruct a trigonometric function with only one scale wavelet coefficient, is presented. The reconstructed wave shape of a periodic function with the equation is better than any term of its Fourier series. And the reconstructed wave shape of a class of nonstationary periodic function with this equation agrees well with the function. 相似文献

The equations of nonaxisymmetric vibrations of discretely reinforced multilayer cylindrical shells are analyzed. A refined Timoshenko model of shells and beams is used to analyze elements of an elastic structure. The vibration equations for an inhomogeneous elastic system are derived using the Reissner variational principle. The numerical solver of the dynamic equations is based on the integro-interpolation method used to construct finite-difference schemes for equations with discontinuous coefficients. This paper is devoted to the study of second order nonlinear difference equations. A Nonlocal Perturbation of a Dirichlet Boundary Value Problem is considered. An exhaustive study of the related Green's function to the linear part is done. The exact expression of the function is given, moreover the range of parameter for which it has constant sign is obtained. Using this, some existence results for the nonlinear problem are deduced from monotone iterative techniques, the classical Krasnoselski fixed point theorem or by application of recent fixed point theorems that combine both theories. 相似文献
