We give some necessary and sufficient conditions which completely characterize the strong and total Lagrange duality, respectively, for convex optimization problems in separated locally convex spaces. We also prove similar statements for the problems obtained by perturbing the objective functions of the primal problems by arbitrary linear functionals. In the particular case when we deal with convex optimization problems having infinitely many convex inequalities as constraints the conditions we work with turn into the so-called Farkas-Minkowski and locally Farkas-Minkowski conditions for systems of convex inequalities, recently used in the literature. One of the most important operations during a tethered satellite system mission is the deployment of a subsatellite from a space ship. We restrict tothe simple but practically important case that the system ismoving on a circular orbit around the Earth. The main problem duringdeployment due to gravity gradient is that the two satellites do not move along the straight radial relative equilibrium position which is stable for a tether of constant length. Instead, deploymentleads to an unstable motion with respect to the radial relativeequilibrium configuration. Therefore we introduce an optimal control strategy using theMaximum Principle to achieve a force controlled deployment of the tethered subsatellite from the radial relative equilibrium position close to the space ship to the radial relative equilibrium position far away from the space ship. 相似文献

This paper proposes a formulation for modelling mechanisms witha cam/follower type of contact using a multibody approach in relativecoordinates. The proposed approach is inspired from the wheel/railcontact model developed by Fisette and Samin but, in the present case,possible intermittent contact between the cam and the follower isconsidered, for generality purposes.Loop kinematicconstraints are introduced to satisfy tangent and punctual contact aslong as the bodies lean against each other. The effective presence (ornot) of the contact is governed by the sign of the normal constraintforce which can be computed thanks to the Lagrange multiplierstechnique.The above-mentioned option to kinematicallyconstraint the bodies in their contact phase unavoidably leads to ashift from one model to another when a contact disappears (or,conversely, reappears). Indeed, this increases (or decreases) the numberof degrees of freedom of the current system. The control of the variablepartitioning is thus absolutely necessary and is all the more complex sothat practical applications can contain several pairs of bodies inintermittent contact.Illustrative examples are proposed: acomparison with another multibody formalism, an experimental validationand the modelling of universal wheels of mobile robots which representsa quite original application of the proposed formulation. 相似文献

We propose a new method, based on the depth-from-defocus technique and binocular vision, for solving the stereo particle pairing problem in 3D particle tracking velocimetry (PTV). Firstly, the apparent particle depth is measured with a single camera, using the depth-from-defocus technique. Secondly, a strict mathematical model of the particle-to-particle correspondence relationship between the left and right images, taking into account the refractions at the interfaces in the optical path, is presented, with the assumption that the apparent particle depth is measured. Thirdly, based on the apparent particle depth and particle-to-particle correspondence relationship, the epipoplar line is truncated into a short line segment by cutting off, where the apparent particle depth extends beyond its estimated range. For the first time, the range of the blur circle radius is employed as an additional stereo particle pairing constraint. Finally, the optimal pairing particle is selected by applying the epipolar line segment and blur circle radius constraints. The experimental results show that the rate of correct pairing is significantly improved compared with the epipolar line nearest neighbor analysis, especially when the particle density is increasing. 相似文献

In the paper, we consider a problem of convex Semi-Infinite Programming with an infinite index set in the form of a convex polyhedron. In study of this problem, we apply the approach suggested in our recent paper [Kostyukova OI, Tchemisova TV. Sufficient optimality conditions for convex Semi Infinite Programming. Optim. Methods Softw. 2010;25:279–297], and based on the notions of immobile indices and their immobility orders. The main result of the paper consists in explicit optimality conditions that do not use constraint qualifications and have the form of criterion. In this paper, we model and solve profit maximization problem of a telecommunications Bandwidth Broker (BB) under uncertain market and network infrastructure conditions. The BB may lease network capacity from a set of Backbone Providers (BPs) or from other BBs in order to gain profit by leasing already purchased capacity to end-users. BB’s problem becomes harder to deal with when bandwidth requests of end-users, profit and cost margins are not known in advance. The novelty of the proposed work is the development of a mechanism via combining fuzzy and stochastic programming methodologies for solving complex BP selection and bandwidth demand allocation problem in communication networks, based on the fact that information needed for making these decisions is not available prior to leasing capacity. In addition, suggested model aims to maximize BB’s decision maker’s satisfaction ratio rather than just profit. As a solution strategy, the resulting fuzzy stochastic programming model is transformed into deterministic crisp equivalent form and then solved to optimality. Finally, the numerical experiments show that on the average, proposed approach provides 14.30% more profit and 69.50% more satisfaction ratio compared to deterministic approaches in which randomness and vagueness in the market and infrastructure are ignored. 相似文献
