Previous research found Potentilla fruticosa leaf extracts (PFE) combined with green tea polyphenols (GTP) showed obvious synergistic effects based on chemical mechanisms. This study further confirmed the synergy of PFE + GTP viewed from bioactivities using the microbial test system (MTS). The MTS antioxidant activity results showed the combination of PFE + GTP exhibited synergistic effect and the ratio 3:1 showed the strongest synergy, which were in accordance with the results in H2O2 production rate. The combination of PFE + GTP promoted CAT and SOD enzyme activity and their gene expression especially at the ratio 3:1. Therefore, the synergism of PFE + GTP may be due to the promotion of CAT and SOD genes expression which enhanced the CAT and SOD enzyme activities. These results confirmed the synergy of PFE + GTP and could provide theoretical basis to produce a compounded tea made of a mixture of leaves from Potentilla species. 相似文献

为探究火场土壤载体中微生物降解效应对助燃剂鉴定的影响,在普通土和培养土两种土样上注射助燃剂,以密封存放时间为变量,通过静态顶空的样品预处理方式对样品内的助燃剂残留物进行气相色谱-质谱法(GC-MS)鉴定。研究发现,微生物降解效应会改变样品内助燃剂组分,不同土样内降解结果有所不同,普通土样的降解效应较培养土样明显,C9~C12直链烷烃和单取代芳香烃更易被降解,多取代芳烃的降解难度随取代基含量的增多而增加。按土样种类采用主成分分析(PCA)的方式进行数据降维后,采用广义回归神经网络(GRNN)对不同土样结果区分,准确率达100%。 相似文献

The effect of the storage of soils on their microbial activity has been studied using a microcalorimetric method. Soil samples were kept in closed polyethene bags at 4°C during 3–6 months. Results show changes in the slope of the differentP?t curves recorded from the samples stored at 4°C. This fact strongly suggest the existence of changes of the microbial activity of soil as the heat evolution is a direct measurement of the cells metabolic activity. The value of the Peak-time (time in which the microcalorimetric signal reaches the maximum value) is related with the microbial density of soil samples. This parameter was affected by the time of storage increasing with time. The total heat evolutionQ(t), of the soil samples amended with glucose calculated from the area limited by the Power-Time curves, also decreases with the time of storage. The soil that had been stored for 6 months before experiments, showed the lowest valu ofQ(t). 相似文献

Synthetic resins have been extensively employed by artists in their works of art, e.g. as paint binders, or by conservators for conservation treatments, e.g. as stone consolidants and protectives. It is generally thought that synthetic resins are less prone to chemical, physical and biological deterioration than other organic products but there are many articles in the scientific literature and some reports in the conservation of cultural heritage literature claiming that microorganisms are capable of degrading synthetic resins. Biogenic amines (BAs) and nitrites are both considered harmful compounds for customer health, and are closely correlated with the microorganisms in fermented mustard (FM). In this study, BAs and nitrite contents in fifteen FM samples from different brands were analyzed. The concentrations of cadaverine in one sample and of histamine in one sample were above the toxic level. Moreover, five FM samples contained a high level of nitrite, exceeding the maximum residue limit (20 mg/kg) suggested by the National Food Safety Standard. Then, this study investigated bacterial and fungal communities by high-throughput sequencing analysis. Firmicutes and Basidiomycota were identified as the major bacteria and fungi phylum, respectively. The correlations among microorganisms, BAs and nitrite were analyzed. Typtamine showed a positive correlation with Lactobacillus and Pseudomonas. Cadaverine and nitrite is positively correlated with Leuconostoc. Furthermore, thirteen strains were selected from the samples to evaluate the accumulation and degradation properties of their BAs and nitrite. The results indicated that the Lactobacillus isolates, including L. plantarum GZ-2 and L. brevis SC-2, can significantly reduce BAs and nitrite in FM model experiments. This study not only assessed the contents of BAs and nitrite in FM samples, but also provided potential starter cultures for BAs and nitrite control in the FM products industry. 相似文献

以文蛤、缢蛏和泥蚶3种滩涂贝类为研究对象, 评估了3种滩涂贝类不同处理模式下的尾水处理效果. 在流水模式下比较不同贝类及密度对水质指标影响的结果表明 所有实验组均显著降低了水体总悬浮物; 泥蚶对氨氮和亚硝酸盐去除效果较好, 文蛤对弧菌有良好的去除效果. 静水模式下的结果表明 滩涂贝类对尾水处理效果与流水模式趋势相似, 静水模式下高密度(?m-2)贝类更能有效净化水质, 而适当降低贝类密度(?m-2)有利于去除养殖尾水中的弧菌总数. 静水模式下对水体菌群研究结果表明 高密度(?m-2)文蛤组和高密度(?m-2)缢蛏组水体菌群Chao1、可观测物种指数升高, 泥蚶组菌群丰度和多样性方面更趋于稳定. 相似文献

The goal of this work was to determine the microbial volatile organic compounds emitted by moulds growing on wool in search of particular volatiles mentioned in the literature as indicators of active mould growth. The keratinolytically active fungi were inoculated on two types of media: (1) samples of wool placed on broths, and (2) on broths containing amino acids that are elements of the structure of keratin. All samples were prepared inside 20 mL vials (closed system). In the first case (1) the broths did not contain any sources of organic carbon, nitrogen, or sulfur, i.e. wool was the only nutrient for the moulds. A third type of sample was historical wool prepared in a Petri dish without a broth and inoculated with a keratinolytically active mould (open system). The microbial volatiles emitted by moulds were sampled with the headspace solid‐phase microextraction method. Volatiles extracted on solid‐phase microextraction fibers were analyzed in a gas chromatography with mass spectrometry system. Qualitative and quantitative analyses of chromatograms were carried out in search of indicators of metabolic activity. The results showed that there are three groups of volatiles that can be used for the detection of active forms of moulds on woollen objects. 相似文献

Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a microbially-driven process enabling energy production. Microorganisms are the core of anaerobic digesters and play an important role in the succession of hydrolysis, acidogenesis, acetogenesis, and methanogenesis processes. The diversity of participating microbial communities can provide new information on digester performance for biomass valorization and biofuel production. In this study anaerobic systems were used, operating under mesophilic conditions that realized biodegradation processes of waste wheat straw pretreated with NaOH—a renewable source for hydrogen and methane production. These processes could be managed and optimized for hydrogen and methane separately but combining them in a two-stage system can lead to higher yields and a positive energy balance. The aim of the study was to depict a process of biohydrogen production from lignocellulosic waste followed by a second one leading to the production of biomethane. Archaeal and bacterial consortia in a two-stage system operating with wheat straw were identified for the first time and the role of the most important representatives was elucidated. The mixed cultures were identified by the molecular-biological methods of metagenomics. The results showed that biohydrogen generation is most probably due to the presence of Proteiniphilum saccharofermentans, which was 28.2% to 45.4% of the microbial community in the first and the second bioreactor, respectively. Archaeal representatives belonging to Methanobacterium formicicum (0.71% of the community), Methanosarcina spelaei (0.03%), Methanothrix soehngenii (0.012%), and Methanobacterium beijingense (0.01%) were proven in the methane-generating reactor. The correlation between substrate degradation and biogas accumulation was calculated, together with the profile of fatty acids as intermediates produced during the processes. The hydrogen concentration in the biogas reached 14.43%, and the Methane concentration was 69%. Calculations of the energy yield during the two-stage process showed 1195.89 kWh·t−1 compared to a 361.62 kWh·t−1 cumulative yield of energy carrier for a one-stage process. 相似文献
