We analyse a model for equilibrium configurations of composite systems of nematic liquid crystal with polymer inclusions, in the presence of an external magnetic field. We assume that the system has a periodic structure, and consider the relaxed problem on the unit length constraint of the nematic director field. The relaxation of the Oseen–Frank energy functional is carried out by including bulk as well as surface energy penalty terms, rendering the problem fully non‐linear. We employ two‐scale convergence methods to obtain effective configurations of the system, as the size of the polymeric inclusions tends to zero. We study the asymptotic behaviour of the solution of a stationary quasilinear elliptic problem posed in a domain Ω(ε) of asymptotically degenerating measure, i.e. meas Ω(ε) → 0 as ε → 0, where ε is the parameter that characterizes the scale of the microstructure. We obtain the convergence of the solution and the homogenized model of the problem is constructed using the notion of convergence in domains of degenerating measure. We prove bounds on the homogenized coefficients for general non‐periodic mixtures of an arbitrary number of isotropic materials, in the heat conduction framework. The component materials and their proportions are given through the Young measure associated to the sequence of coefficient functions. Upper and lower bounds inequalities are deduced in terms of algebraic relations between this Young measure and the eigenvalues of the H‐limit matrix. The proofs employ arguments of compensated compactness and fine properties of Young measures. When restricted to the periodic case, we recover known bounds. 利用微宏观耦合方法模拟了棒状分子聚合物溶液在平板Couette流动中的复杂流变行为,其中微宏观模型通过非均匀Doi理论来描述.数值模拟中,应用有限体积方法耦合求解了介观尺度上的Smoluchowski方程和宏观尺度上的流场守恒方程.数值结果不仅得到了若干种典型的流动类型,而且还预测了另外两种新的复合瑕疵结构.数值试验表明:棒状分子聚合物的流变结构主要依赖于De数、分子相对尺度以及溶液浓度常数的取值;并且De数对分子指向矢的翻滚周期、随流取向角等微观特性也均有明显影响.

Let u? be the solution of the Poisson equation in a domain perforated by thin tubes with a nonlinear Robin‐type boundary condition on the boundary of the tubes (the flux here being β(?)σ(x,u?)), and with a Dirichlet condition on the rest of the boundary of Ω. ? is a small parameter that we shall make to go to zero; it denotes the period of a grid on a plane where the tubes/cylinders have their bases; the size of the transversal section of the tubes is O(a?) with a???. A certain nonperiodicity is allowed for the distribution of the thin tubes, although the perimeter is a fixed number a. Here, is a strictly monotonic function of the second argument, and the adsorption parameter β(?) > 0 can converge toward infinity. Depending on the relations between the three parameters ?, a?, and β(?), the effective equations in volume are obtained. Among the multiple possible relations, we provide critical relations, which imply different averages of the process ranging from linear to nonlinear. We theoretically study complementarity between micro-micro and micro-macro entanglement in a Bose–Einstein condensate with two Rydberg impurities. We investigate quantum dynamics of micro-micro and micro-macro entanglement in the micro-macro system. It is found that strong micro-macro entanglement between Rydberg impurities and the BEC can be generated by the use of initial micro-micro entanglement between two Rydberg impurities, which acts as the seed entanglement to create micro-macro entanglement. We demonstrate a curious complementarity relation between micro-micro and micro-macro entanglement, and find that the complementarity property can be sustained to some extent even though in the presence of the BEC decoherence. 相似文献

在ESO中采用动态删除率能有效地提高优化效率和稳定性,但现有的动态删除率策略都含有经验参数,确定删除率的过程较为复杂。本文提出了一种用于BESO的无经验参数自适应单元删除率确定方法。通过分析单元删除率对优化稳定性的影响,得到了结构优化过程中单元删除率的理想变化规律和单元灵敏度均匀化信息对删除率的影响情况,并据此分析了经验参数引入的原因,从而构造了评价单迭代步的单元灵敏度均匀化程度指标。然后,基于单迭代步的单元灵敏度均匀化程度指标,构造了全部迭代步信息下的单元灵敏度均匀化程度相对指标,结合单元删除率的推荐范围值,给出了一种自适应于结构优化进程的单元删除率自适应函数。最后,给出了基于自适应单元删除率的BESO方法实现流程。经典算例的结果对比说明,本文方法在保证优化质量相近的情况下,具有更好的优化效率和稳定性。 相似文献
