Based on the effective-field theory with self-spin correlations and the differential operator technique,physical properties of the spin-2 system with biaxial crystal field on the simple cubic, body-centered cubic, as well as faced-centered lattice have been studied. The influences of the external longitudinal magnetic field on the magnetization,internal energy, specific heat, and susceptibility have been discussed in detail. The phenomenon that the magnetization in the ground state shows quantum effects produced by the biaxial transverse crystal field has been found.  相似文献

The angular dependence of the 27Al NMR spectrum was measured for single crystals of smoky and colorless topaz, Al2SiO4(F,OH)2. Smoky topaz was obtained by irradiating high energy neutrons to colorless topaz. The quadrupole coupling constant e2Qq/h and the asymmetry parameter η were obtained from the analysis of the angular dependences of quadrupole splitting of the 27Al NMR spectrum. The local structures around the aluminum atoms in smoky and colorless topaz were discussed from the magnitude and the direction of the electric field gradient. The directions of principal axes of the EFG tensor of 27Al were close to the directions of Al-O and Al-F bonds. The difference in the bond lengths between Al(1)-F(1) and Al(1)-F(2) was found to affect the x and y components of the EFG tensor.  相似文献

Gd1-xHoxNi melt-spun ribbons were fabricated by a single-roller melt spinning method. All the compounds crystallize in an orthorhombic CrB-type structure. The Curie temperature (TC) was tuned between 46 and 99 K by varying the concentration of Gd and Ho. A spin reorientation (SRO) transition is observed around 13 K. Different from TC, the SRO transition temperature is almost invariable for all compounds. Two peaks of magnetic entropy change (ΔSM) were found. One at the higher temperature range was originated from the paramagnet-ferromagnet phase transition and the other at the lower temperature range was caused by the SRO transition. The maximum of ΔSM around TC is almost same. The other maximum of ΔSM around SRO transition, however, had significantly positive relationship with x. It reached a maximum about 8.2 J kg−1 K−1 for x = 0.8. Thus double large ΔSM peaks were obtained in Gd1-xHoxNi melt-spun ribbons with the high Ho concentration. And the refrigerant capacity power reached a maximum of 622 J kg−1 for x = 0.6. Gd1-xHoxNi ribbons could be good candidate for magnetic refrigerant working in the low temperature especially near the liquid nitrogen temperature range.  相似文献

在介绍三种永磁体空间磁场计算模型的基础上,利用泛函理论分别推导出等效磁荷模型和等效电流模型对应的变分形式,并就等效磁荷模型详细地介绍了有限元法.由于等效磁荷模型使用仅有一个自由度的标量磁位,因而计算起来比具有三个自由度的矢量磁位的等效电流法更简便.从永磁磁力轴承磁场的计算算例中可以看出,用等效磁荷模型的有限元法计算永磁体空间磁场是非常简便和有效的.  相似文献

A method of heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) potentially suitable for probe-based storage systems is characterized. In this work, field emission current from a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) tip is used as the heating source. Pulse voltages of 2–7 V were applied to a CoNi/Pt multilayered film fabricated on either bare silicon or oxidized silicon substrates. Different types of Ir/Pt and W STM tips were used in the experiment. The results show that thermally recorded magnetic marks are formed with a nearly uniform mark size of 170 nm on the film fabricated on bare silicon substrate when the pulse voltage is above a threshold voltage. The mark size becomes 260 nm when they are written on the identical film fabricated on an oxidized silicon substrate. The threshold voltage depends on the material work function of the tip, with W having a threshold voltage about 1 V lower than Pt. A synthesized model, which contains the calculation of the emission current, the simulation of heat transfer during heating, and the study of magnetic domain formation, was introduced to explain experimental results. Amorphous (a-) Fe x Mg1?x alloys are interesting materials for the investigation of non-Debye-like low-energy vibrational excitations. We have prepared a-Fe x Mg1?x alloy thin films (0.3 ≤ × ≤0.7) by vapour quenching. The amorphous state was confirmed by conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy between 4.2–300 K, and the x- and temperature-dependence of the isomer shift and hyperfine magnetic field was measured. For x= 0.6 and 0.7, magnetic ordering occurs below ~150 K. The atomic vibrational density of states, g(E), was determined by nuclear resonant inelastic scattering, providing clear evidence for the non-Debye-like low-energy vibrational excitations.  相似文献

We present a theoretical study of the energy spectrum of single electron and hole states in quantum dots of annular geometry under a high magnetic field along the ring axis in the frame of uncorrelated electron-hole theory. We predict the periodic disappearance of the optical emission of the electron-hole pair as the magnetic field increases, as a consequence of the finite height of the barriers. The model has been applied to semiconductor rings of various internal and external radii, giving as limiting cases the disk and antidot.  相似文献

研究了800℃条件下不同制备磁场强度(最高12 T)对Ca Ti O3及其浸渍掺杂样品在结构和光学性能方面的影响.研究表明:样品吸光性能随浸渍掺杂的离子浓度的增大而提升,且发生红移现象;相同掺杂浓度下,磁场下制备样品的吸光性能均较非磁场下制备的样品有所提高,但不同磁场强度下所制备样品的吸光曲线彼此差异不大;此外,磁制备纯Ca Ti O3晶体粉末的X-射线衍射曲线峰左移,紫外-可见漫反射光谱吸收截止波长增长,这表明强磁场可使Ca Ti O3晶面间距和晶格常数增大、禁带宽度减小.  相似文献
