Carbon coatings were deposited by atmospheric plasma jet. Influence of the distance between the exit of the plasma gun and a substrate (consequently temperature of the substrate) on properties of the coatings was investigated. The coatings deposited near to the exit of the plasma gun are porous with columnar structure, moderate hardness (∼10 GPa), and the lowest hydrogen (∼7 at.%) concentration. The coatings deposited at the larger standoff distance (>5 mm) have higher hydrogen (≤25 at.%) content and graphite-like structure. Most of the hydrogen in all coatings is bonded to the sp3 carbon (70-60 at.%) and predominantly forms methylene compounds. Decrease of standoff distance yields lower concentration of sp3 CH3 compounds and relative increase of amount of hydrogenated sp2 rings.  相似文献

In the present paper, a liquid (or melt) film of relatively high temperature ejected from a vessel and painted on the moving solid film is analyzed by using the second-order fluid model of the non-Newtonian fluid. The thermocapillary flow driven by the temperature gradient on the free surface of a Newtonian liquid film was discussed before. The effect of rheological fluid on thermocapillary flow is considered in the present paper. The analysis is based on the approximations of lubrication theory and perturbation theory. The equation of liquid height and the process of thermal hydrodynamics of the non-Newtonian liquid film are obtained, and the case of weak effect of the rheological fluid is solved in detail.  相似文献

Pumping of liquids using two-phase flow has been examined experimentally in small air-lift pumps with 12—19 mm bore plexiglass tubes. An air injection system was devised to create and maintain ‘perfect’ slug flow in the vertical riser tube. An equation has been derived, based on momentum conservation considerations, which correlates well with the measurements obtained. Slip variation, or liuid holdup, between the two phases and the formation of the ‘entrance’ section part of the pump (suction pipe) were taken into consideration. Unlike its predecessors, this equation predicts the reversal in the pump performance curve observed experimentally.  相似文献

Swirling combustion is widely applied in various applications such as gas turbines, utility boilersor waste incinerators. This article contributes to the ongoing research by providing experimentaldata that are gathered in the mixing zone of a lifted swirling premixed natural gas flame. Theobjective of this paper is fivefold: (1) to introduce the lifted swirling flame featuring lowNO x emissions (2) to provide experimental data such as major species distributions, temperature and streamlines of the flow pattern, (3) to report on velocity bias in probability density function (PDF) distributions and to present PDF sequences of velocities in medium scale swirling flows, (4) to make an assessment on the local small-scale turbulence that is present in the swirling mixinglayer and (5) to provide new experimental data for model verification and development.The PDFs are corrected in order to compensate for the velocity bias phenomenon, which is typicalfor randomly sampled LDA data. Sequences of axial PDF data are presented and measurement locationsof interest are selected to look at the PDF characteristics of the internal and externalrecirculation zones, the mixing layer and the onset of the reacting flow into detail. The mixinglayer PDFs covered a wide velocity range and revealed bimodality; even the concept ofmulti-modality is suggested and explored. Analysis showed that a sum of two Gaussian distributionscan accurately envelop the experimental PDFs. The reason for this broadband turbulence behavior isto be found in combination of precessing and flapping motion of the flow structures, and also incombustion generated instabilities of the lifted flame. As a result, the flame brush is wide (largescale motion) and the mixing (small-scale turbulence) flattens any high temperatures in thecombustion process.The multi-scale turbulence concept is subsequently used to make anassessment of the local turbulence characteristics in the mixing layer.The idea is that the PDFs capture both contributions of the flow-inherent fine grain turbulence (u l ) which is superposed on slowlarge scale fluctuating structures. It is this u l that will be of interest in continued research on the classification of the lifted flame into acombustion regime diagram (e.g. Borghi diagram). Finally, the bimodalitycharacter in reacting flows and the prediction of large-scale structuresmay be a challenge for LES researchers.  相似文献

A high order difference scheme is used to simulate the spatially developing compressible axisymmetric jet. The results show that the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability appears first when the jet loses its stability, and then with development of jet the increase in nonlinear effects leads to the secondary instability and the formation of the streamwise vortices. The evolution of the three-dimensional coherent structure is presented. The computed results verify that in axisymmetric jet the secondary instability and formation of the streamwise vortices are the important physical mechanism of enhancing the flow mixing and transition occurring.  相似文献

在喷注“圆锥判定法”的基础上,对高能强子–强子碰撞中产生的喷注(微喷注)的性质进行了蒙特卡洛研究.采用以喷注动量为z轴的“喷注坐标系”,给出了表征喷注性质的各物理量在新坐标系中的分布情况.结果表明,圆锥判定法能够作为一种有效手段来对高能强子–强子碰撞和相对论重离子碰撞中发生的硬和半硬过程开展实验研究.由有喷注事件和无喷注事件的多重数分布可以看到,Et=2GeV是用圆锥法确定喷注的合理的横能截断值.  相似文献

It is proved that the Euler–Lagrange equations of a Yang-Mills type Lagragian is independent with respect to the chosen pairing in the Lie algebra.  采用了1维简单模型来模拟气体靶的空间密度分布情况,并且该计算值得到了实验的验证。使用M-Z干涉仪诊断锥型喷嘴喷射的气体靶密度分布,得到了不同压力和不同延时下的干涉图样。自行编写了实验数据处理程序,得到了不同情况下气体密度的空间分布。在相互作用实验中,由气体分子密度随压力的变化,可以确定合适的压力,以获得预期的气体靶密度;由气体分子密度随时间的变化,可以确定激光与气体的作用时刻。  相似文献

通过自行研制的光纤传感器对不同黏度液体中材料靶后的力学作用进行研究,获得了液体黏度变化对等离子体烧蚀力、射流冲击力及空泡生存周期的影响. 实验结果表明:液体黏度相同时,靶材所受冲击力幅值随作用激光能量的增加单调上升;液体黏度增加时,靶材所受的冲击力减小,靶材的空化空蚀程度亦减小;受液体黏度增大的影响,空泡膨胀或收缩过程减缓,相应的生存周期也增大. 此外,对空泡溃灭周期公式进行修正, 结果表明修正后的理论估算值与实验值的一致性较好.  相似文献
