This paper presents the experimental results on the wet grinding of a moist calcium carbonate material in a hybrid comminution system, which consists of a high pressure roller mill (HPRM) and a subsequent stirred bead mill. The results show that the pre‐treatment of the material with the HPRM could result in energy saving and efficient size reduction during the subsequent wet ultra‐fine grinding in the stirred bead mill. It was found that the level of fineness of the ground product is dramatically influenced by the number of repeat passes of pre‐grinding in the HRPM. The formation of micro‐cracks in the particles under compressive loads was discussed in order to elucidate the role of the HRPM as a pre‐grinder in the hybrid comminution system. The simulated breakage behaviors of various irregular shaped particles indicate that the tortuous micro‐crack propagation paths and the crack branching behavior are related to the heterogeneity of the particle and the stress distributions. 相似文献

A polylactide of high optical purity was crystallized between 100 and 140 °C, in‐between two glass slides, and its morphology was investigated by polarizing optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy, during subsequent heating and cooling cycles between ?15 °C and the crystallization temperature. It was found that dark circular rings show up on cooling on top of the spherulites and represent cracks of about 300 nm in width. This phenomenon is completely reversible, and the heating–cooling curves are centered at about 56 °C, which coincide with the Tg of polylactide. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 设计和研制了结构紧凑、杂散光低的微型平像场近红外光谱仪。在分光系统设计中不采用附加杂散光遮挡装置的常规方法,而是在准直物镜前设置一块直径为8.5mm的平面反射镜,通过调节平面反射镜改变入射光束的空间角,使光束全部被准直镜接收,不再产生旁光,从而有效地消除系统内的杂散光,使仪器整体杂散光水平降低了1.13%。另外,该光谱仪选择线阵CCD作为探测器件,不再设置冷却系统也避免了平面光栅带有扫描旋转机构。由于使用CCD作探测器和新的消杂散光设计方法,该光谱仪实现了微型化。 相似文献

对背面有热流输入的矩形毛细微槽群横截面上的气液分界面形状进行了理论分析,在一定条件下对Wayner蒸发模型进行简化,根据等壁温条件推出蒸发薄液膜区域热流密度近似为定值,通过流体动力学理论推导出了微槽横截面薄液膜区域液膜厚度变化的关系式,并与Wayner蒸发模型的计算结果进行了比较。进一步提出了全新的交界线区域长度的判定方法,根据蒸发薄液膜区域总换热量计算得到蒸发薄液膜区域的长度,交界处接触角,以及固有弯月面区域的曲率半径,从而最终得出了微槽横截面整个气液分界面的形状曲线,理论分析表明:槽宽、热流密度、过热度等因素对蒸发薄液膜区域长度、接触角以及固有弯月面曲率半径等参数有较大的影响。 相似文献

Micro‐Raman temperature study and X‐ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy were used for characterization of the blue glaze on Saint John the Baptist—majolica terracotta relief attributed to Andrea Della Robbia and Saint John the Baptist with Cross—majolica terracotta statue attributed to Giovanni Della Robbia. Both objects are on permanent exhibition in the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, FL. This study proves that the detection of the 548 cm−1 Raman band alone cannot serve as evidence for presence of lazurite crystallites in the pigment in the glaze. It was established that the famous Della Robbia blue is due to the combined effect of Co Ni Cu Zn atoms and S3− ions embedded in a lead silicate matrix. It is proposed that the Della Robbia family used Co‐containing sulfide ores as a source for manufacturing their blue pigments. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

Nowadays, in order to preserve the surfaces of works of art, several organic and inorganic substances are used. To evaluate the penetration depth and the distribution of these substances inside the materials, it is essential to define the effectiveness of a conservative treatment. Owing to the ambiguous results obtained with the current analytical techniques, the achievement of this aim is critical. This study shows how micro‐Raman mapping on polished cross section is an effective tool capable of investigating the inner portions of the materials. A set of painted plasters has been treated with ammonium oxalate solutions, an inorganic substance widely used for conservation works of carbonatic materials. The micro‐Raman mapping of the lines of the newly formed calcium oxalate allowed correlation of the penetration depth and the distribution of the product inside the specimens with different conditions of treatment.
