基于光线遵从的Fermat原理,从几何学的角度讨论和分析了在单轴晶体中入射的e光线在界面上的双反射,得到了确定光线反射方向的一般公式,并对几种特殊情况进行了讨论.指出了上述结果与由电磁波的边界条件计算所得结果是一致的.

Game of two cars: Case of variable speed

A stochastic version of Isaacs's (Ref. 1) game of two cars is dealt with here. In this version, the pursuer, owing to thrust and drag forces, has a variable speed, whereas the evader's speed is constant. Also, the pursuer can maneuver as long as his speed is bounded by some lower and upper limits. The probability of interception, corresponding to optimal (saddle-point) feedback strategies, is computed and serves as a reference for evaluating the performance of four different versions of the proportional navigation pursuit law as well as two other strategies.

本文系统地概述了我们近年来提出的动态模糊随机信息处理的数学方法,内容包括模糊随机变量、模糊随机过程和模糊随机微分方程的基本解法等方面的基本概念、基本定义和某些重要的定理,以及动态系统的模糊随机响应与可靠性分析的方法等。这些方法是为我们研究工程实际问题的需要逐步发展起来的,对于处理某些类型的问题简便实用。     

On interrelation between the internal pressure and the cohesion energy density

The question about the definition of the “internal pressure” concept is being discussed. It is shown that the previously found differential relation between the cohesion energy density and the internal pressure is one of the examples of an absolutely general interrelation between definitely connected differential functions. It is ascertained that the ratio (the internal pressure divided by the cohesion energy density) is a structuresensitive parameter inherent to the calorific (thermal) equation of a liquid state.

A class of polynomial variable metric algorithms for linear optimization

In the paper, the behaviour of interior point algorithms is analyzed by using a variable metric method approach. A class of polynomial variable metric algorithms is given achieving O ((n/β)L) iterations for solving a canonical form linear optimization problem with respect to a wide class of Riemannian metrics, wheren is the number of dimensions and β a fixed value. It is shown that the vector fields of several interior point algorithms for linear optimization is the negative Riemannian gradient vector field of a linear a potential or a logarithmic barrier function for suitable Riemannian metrics. Anomalies of attenuation and phase velocity of surface acoustic waves in YBa2Cu3O7‒δ thin films in the vicinity of Tc

We present measurements of the attenuation and phase velocity of surface acoustic waves in thin YBa₂Cu₃O films as a function of temperature, in magnetic fields up to 3.6 T applied parallel to the c-axis of the films. We have observed anomalies in both, the attenuation and the phase velocity in the vicinity of the superconducting critical temperature which do not depend on the magnetic field. Possible origins of these anomalies, observed, to our knowledge, for the first time in YBa₂Cu₃O thin films, are discussed and compared to bulk acoustic wave experiments. We present a kind of feedback technique for surface acoustic waves which improves the sensitivity of this type of measurement. The actual sensitivity limits are mentioned.
