A search system is presented that utilizes Fourier domain data. This system removes dominating features from the infrared absorbance data, transforms the data into the Fourier domain and performs a complete library search. The actual matching algorithm is very simple and excellent search results were attained using 16 cm–1 resolution infrared absorbance spectra before transformation. This method can be used to distinguish very similar spectra that cannot be distinguished by many other search methods.  相似文献

A new hybrid algorithm is proposed to eliminate the varying background and noise simultaneously for multivariate calibration of near infrared (NIR) spectral signals. The method is based on the use of multi-resolution, which is one of the main advantages provided by wavelet transform. The signals are firstly split into different frequency components, which keep the same data points of the original signals. In conjunction with a modified uninformative variable elimination (mUVE) criterion, the new method can be used to remove the low-frequency varying background and the high-frequency noise simultaneously. The method is successfully applied to simulated spectral data set and experimental NIR spectral data, resulting in more parsimonious multivariate models with higher precision. In addition, the proposed strategy can be applied to other spectral signals as well.  相似文献

The blends of poly(N-methyldodecano-12-lactam) (MPA) with poly(styrene-co-acrylic acid) (PSAA) prepared from dioxane solutions were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The experimental DSC data of glass transition temperature Tg as a function of composition of amorphous phase were fitted for the as-prepared and re-scanned samples using theoretical approaches. The as-prepared blends show monotonic single-Tg dependence. The values of the Gordon-Taylor coefficient not far from unity suggest miscibility of the blend system in amorphous phase in the whole concentration range. As documented by FTIR, this miscibility is associated with hydrogen bonds between COOH groups of the acrylic acid units in PSAA molecules acting as the H-bond donor and CO groups of MPA acting as the H-bond acceptor. The Tg-dependencies obtained form the second runs have a profound sigmoid character. The Schneider treatment induced an idea of partial limited miscibility in the MPA/PSAA blends caused by prevalence of homogeneous contacts. The difference in Tg between the first and second run can partly be attributed to higher crystallinities in the former.  相似文献

Multichannel Fourier transform spectrometers utilizing image sensing devices are reviewed along with the instrumental design concepts. Although the idea itself is fairly simple, a photographic plate in holographic spectroscopy is replaced by an image sensor, there are stringent requirements to be satisfied in order to realize the system for field use. Mainly two types of the instrument, which are characterized by the Sagnac common-path interferometer and the polarization interferometer optics, respectively, are described with regard to their system performances. Examples of the system operation introduced show that Fourier transform spectrometers without mechanical moving parts play an important role in a variety of spectroscopic applications under severe surroundings. In a summary, methods for the resolution enhancement and comments on the signal-to-noise ratio are also included.  相似文献

With the accelerated accumulation of genomic sequence data, there is a pressing need to develop computational methods and advanced bioinformatics infrastructure for reliable and large-scale protein annotation and biological knowledge discovery. The Protein Information Resource (PIR) provides an integrated public resource of protein informatics to support genomic and proteomic research. PIR produces the Protein Sequence Database of functionally annotated protein sequences. The annotation problems are addressed by a classification-driven and rule-based method with evidence attribution, coupled with an integrated knowledge base system being developed. The approach allows sensitive identification, consistent and rich annotation, and systematic detection of annotation errors, as well as distinction of experimentally verified and computationally predicted features. The knowledge base consists of two new databases, sequence analysis tools, and graphical interfaces. PIR-NREF, a non-redundant reference database, provides a timely and comprehensive collection of all protein sequences, totaling more than 1,000,000 entries. iProClass, an integrated database of protein family, function, and structure information, provides extensive value-added features for about 830,000 proteins with rich links to over 50 molecular databases. This paper describes our approach to protein functional annotation with case studies and examines common identification errors. It also illustrates that data integration in PIR supports exploration of protein relationships and may reveal protein functional associations beyond sequence homology.  相似文献

基于近红外光谱技术与化学计量学方法,建立了一种国内外不同品牌维生素C片的无损鉴别方法。采集了国内外8个品牌的维生素C片共计40个样本的近红外光谱数据,比较了完整样品以及粉末样品的近红外光谱,采用连续小波变换技术消除背景干扰和基线漂移,基于标准偏差与相对标准偏差的变量筛选方法筛选出具有代表性的波数点,结合主成分分析方法对国内外不同品牌维生素C片进行鉴别分析。结果表明:原始光谱存在着明显的背景干扰和基线漂移现象,且粉末样品的重现性要优于完整样品;单纯使用原始光谱无法辨别来自不同品牌的维生素C片;连续小波变换可以有效消除背景干扰,提高模型鉴别能力;完整样品的鉴别准确率优于粉末样品,说明国内外不同品牌维生素C片主要成分基本一致,可能是辅剂和工艺上存在细微差异。通过结合近红外光谱分析技术与化学计量学方法,可实现对国产以及进口不同品牌维生素C片的鉴别分析。  相似文献

Three‐center nuclear attraction integrals over exponential‐type functions are required for ab initio molecular structure calculations and density functional theory (DFT). These integrals occur in many millions of terms, even for small molecules, and they require rapid and accurate numerical evaluation. The use of a basis set of B functions to represent atomic orbitals, combined with the Fourier transform method, led to the development of analytic expressions for these molecular integrals. Unfortunately, the numerical evaluation of the analytic expressions obtained turned out to be extremely difficult due to the presence of two‐dimensional integral representations, involving spherical Bessel integral functions. % The present work concerns the development of an extremely accurate and rapid algorithm for the numerical evaluation of these spherical Bessel integrals. This algorithm, which is based on the nonlinear D transformation and the W algorithm of Sidi, can be computed recursively, allowing the control of the degree of accuracy. Numerical analysis tests were performed to further improve the efficiency of our algorithm. The numerical results section demonstrates the efficiency of this new algorithm for the numerical evaluation of three‐center nuclear attraction integrals. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Several numerical integration schemes for the evaluation of matrix elements in density functional theory calculations have been studied and compared by computational practice. The best scheme was found to be the combination of the atomic partition function proposed by Becke with the scaled generalized Gauss-Laguerre quadrature formula for radial integration suggested by Yang, which achieve the highest convergence rate to the numerical integration. With the same number of integration points, the accuracy of the calculated results by this scheme is higher by 1 to 2 orders of magnitudes than that by other schemes. The reason for achieving higher accuracy by this scheme has been proposed preliminarily.  相似文献

In this work, the mechanochemical synthesis of a moderately agglomerated tin oxide (SnO2) powders and the subsequent preparation of semiconductor gas sensors as prototypes, were studied. Tin (II) chloride (SnCl2) powder was milled with calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) and potassium carbonate, (K2CO3) powder, respectively, in a ball mill at room temperature and in an air atmosphere. Heat treatment of milled mixtures at 400 °C resulted in the formation of a tetragonal phase, confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). During milling in the presence of water, a high number of hydroxide (OH) groups are formed at the surface. When SnCl2 was milled with K2CO3, no water was produced and the Fourier-transform infrared spectrum (FT-IR) of the powder has no surface hydroxyl deformations. On exposure to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas, the particles, prepared from anhydrous powder, have higher sensitivity than these, prepared from hydrated powder. The SnO2 thick film, prepared from anhydrous powder may be successfully applied to a H2S gas sensor.  相似文献
