The magnetization distribution, its energetic characterization by the
interlayer coupling constants and lattice dynamics of (001)-oriented
Fe/Pt multilayers are investigated using density functional theory
combined with the direct method to determine phonon frequencies.
It is found that ferromagnetic order between consecutive Fe layers is
favoured, with the enhanced magnetic moments at the
interface. The bilinear and biquadratic coupling coefficients between Fe
layers are shown to saturate fast with increasing thickness of
nonmagnetic Pt layers which separate them. The phonon calculations
demonstrate a rather strong dependence of partial iron phonon
densities of states on the actual position of Fe monolayer

We propose a novel capacity model for complex networks
against cascading failure. In this model, vertices with both higher
loads and larger degrees should be paid more extra capacities, i.e.
the allocation of extra capacity on vertex i will be proportional
to ki

and γ > 0 is a free parameter. We have applied this model on
Barabási-Albert network as well as two real transportation
networks, and found that under the same amount of available
resource, this model can achieve better network robustness than

Using the complete numerical solution of a time-dependent
three-dimensional mean-field model we
study the Josephson oscillation of a superfluid Fermi gas (SFG) at zero temperature formed in a combined axially-symmetric
harmonic plus one-dimensional periodic optical-lattice (OL) potentials after displacing the harmonic trap along the axial
OL
axis. We study the dependence of Josephson frequency on the strength of the OL potential. The Josephson frequency decreases
with increasing strength as found in the experiment of Cataliotti et al. [Science 293, 843 (2001)] for a Bose-Einstein condensate and of the experiment of Pezzè et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 93, 120401 (2004)] for an ideal Fermi gas. We demonstrate a
breakdown of Josephson oscillation in the SFG for a large displacement
of the harmonic trap. These features of Josephson oscillation of a SFG can be tested experimentally. 相似文献

We computed ground-state energies of calcium isotopes from 42Ca to 48Ca by means of the Auxiliary Field Diffusion Monte Carlo (AFDMC) method. Calculations were performed by replacing the 40Ca core with a mean-field self-consistent potential computed using the Skyrme interaction. The energy of the external neutrons
is calculated by projecting the ground state from a wave function built with the single-particle orbitals computed in the
self-consistent external potential. The shells considered were the 1F
7/2 and the 1F
5/2 . The Hamiltonian employed is semi-realistic and includes tensor, spin-orbit and three-body forces. While absolute binding
energies are too deep if compared with experimental data, the differences between the energies for nearly all isotopes are

Taking the Gaussian Schell-model beam as a typical example of partially coherent beams, this paper applies the simulated annealing (SA) algorithm to the design of phase plates for shaping partially coherent beams. A flow diagram is presented to illustrate the procedure of phase optimization by the SA algorithm. Numerical examples demonstrate the advantages of the SA algorithm in shaping partially coherent beams. An uniform flat-topped beam profile with maximum reconstruction error RE 〈 1.74% is achieved. We have evaluated the effects of recombination processes in a charge storage layer, either between trapped electrons and trapped holes or between trapped carriers and free carriers, on charge trapping memory cell's performances by numerical simulation. Recombination is an indispensable mechanism in charge trapping memory. It helps charge convert process between negative and positive charges in the charge storage layer during charge trapping memory programming/erasing operation. We present a scheme for quantum state sharing of an arbitrary qudit state by using nonmaximally entangled generalized Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states as the quantum channel and generalized Bell-basis states as the joint measurement basis. We show that the probability of successful sharing an unknown qudit state depends on the joint measurements chosen by Alice. We study the effect of a one dimensional optical superlattice on the superfluid properties (superfluid fraction, number squeezing,
dynamic structure factor) and the quasi-momentum distribution of the Mott-insulator. We show that due to the secondary lattice,
there is a decrease in the superfluid fraction and the number fluctuation. The dynamic structure factor which can be measured
by Bragg spectroscopy is also suppressed due to the addition of the secondary lattice. The visibility of the interference
pattern (the quasi-momentum distribution) of the Mott-insulator is found to decrease due to the presence of the secondary

We discuss coherent and incoherent φ -meson photoproduction off the deuteron at low energy and small momentum transfer with
the aim to check whether the recent experimental data need for their interpretation an inclusion of exotic channels. Our analysis
of the differential cross-section and spin-density matrix elements shows that new data on the γD → φX reaction at E

The thermodynamics structural relaxation of Fe73Cu1.5Nd3Si13.5B9 amorphous alloy from room temperature to 400°C has been investigated by measuring the structure factor with in situ X-ray diffraction. The structural information of the atomic configuration such as radial distribution function (RDF) and
neighbor atomic distance was gained by Fourier transformation. The research result shows that the amorphous structure remains
stable in the temperature range of 30 to 400°C but exhibits distinct changes in local atomic configuration with the increase
of temperature. The quantitative determination of the neighbor atomic distance suggests that the degree of short-range order
changes by the temperature altering the second nearest neighbor local atomic configuration of the amorphous when structural
relaxation occurs.
