The theoretical calculation method of multilayer metal-clad planar optical waveguide presented by Y. YAMAMOTO is greatly improved and transplant into the optical fiber and a suitable waveguide model of in-line single-mode optical fiber polarizer is set up to study its characteristics, the theorical analyses are in accordance with the experimental re suits. The polarizer whose extinction ratio is more than 30 dB at 0.633μm wavelength with an insertion loss of 0.5 dB is formed by grinding off the cladding on one side of a single-mode fibre and evaporating metal onto the polished durface in our Lab.  相似文献

Both ordinary intense modulation holograph and the polarization holograph can be recorded in the methyl orange-polyvinyl alcohol (MO-PVA) film. With the increase of pipelines, corrosion leakage accidents happen frequently. Therefore, nondestructive testing technology is important for ensuring the safe operation of the pipelines and energy mining. In this paper, the structure and principle of magnetic flux leakage (MFL) in-line inspection system is introduced first. Besides, a mathematic model of the system according to the ampere circuit rule, flux continuity theorem, and column coordinate transform is built, and the magnetic flux density in every point of space is calculated based on the theory of finite element analysis. Then we analyze and design the disposition of measurement section probes and sensors combining both three-axis MFL in-line inspection and multi-sensor fusion technology. Its advantage is that the three-axis changes of magnetic flux leakage field are measured by the multi-probes at the same time, so we can determine various defects accurately. Finally, the theory of finite element analysis is used to build a finite element simulation model, and the relationship between defects and MFL inspection signals is studied. Simulation and experiment results verify that the method not only enhances the detection ability to different types of defects but also improves the precision and reliability of the inspection system.  相似文献

Six different soluble high-performance aromatic polyimides, each prepared by solution imidization to three controlled average molecular weights, were analyzed by size exclusion chromatography (SEC) using on-line parallel coupled refractometric and viscometric detectors. N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) with 0.06 M LiBr and NMP stirred over P2O5 were used as mobile phase for four of the polyimides; NMP with 0.06 M LiBr and NMP stirred over P2O5 were used as mobile phases for four of the polyimides; NMP with 0.06 M LiBr tetrahydrofuran (THF) and chloroform served as mobile phases for the other two polyimides. For all the samples the stationary phase in the SEC columns was cross-linked polystyrene beads. Molecular weight averages of the polyimides were calculated using universal SEC calibration with polystyrene standards in each solvent. The agreement of the calculated molecular weight averages in the different solvents confirms that the universal SEC calibrations are valid for these semiflexible polymers. There was good agreement with weightaverage molecular weights obtained by low-angle laser light scattering (LALLS) performed in pure NMP. Intrinsic viscosity and molecular weight data for a series of nine samples of one polyimide covering a Mw = 20,000–70,000 g mol–1 interval were treated to obtain Mark-Houwink-Sakurada constants. Unperturbed chain dimensions of this polyimide were obtained by application of the Stockmayer-Fixman extrapolation procedure to these data. ©1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
