In the dynamics analysis and synthesis of a con-trolled system, it is important to know for what feedback gains can the controlled system decay to the demanded steady state as fast as possible. This article presents a sys-tematic method for finding the optimal feedback gains by taking the stability of an inverted pendulum system with a delayed proportional-derivative controller as an example. First, the condition for the existence and uniqueness of the stable region in the gain plane is obtained by using the D-subdivision method and the method of stability switch. Then the same procedure is used repeatedly to shrink the stable region by decreasing the real part of the rightmost charac-teristic root. Finally, the optimal feedback gains within the stable region that minimizes the real part of the rightmost root are expressed by an explicit formula. With the optimal feedback gains, the controlled inverted pendulum decays to its trivial equilibrium at the fastest speed when the initial val-ues around the origin are fixed. The main results are checked by numerical simulation.  相似文献

This paper deals with the mean-square asymptotic stability of stochastic Markovian jump systems with time-varying delay. Based on a new stochastic inequality and convex analysis property, some novel stability conditions are presented. In the derivation, the information of the time-varying delay is retained and the estimation of it by the worst-case enlargement is not involved. Some special cases of the systems under consideration are also investigated. Illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Absolute Kα line spectroscopy is proposed for studying laser–plasma interactions taking place in the Au cone-guided fast ignition targets. X-ray spectra ranging from 20 to 100 keV were quantitatively measured with a Laue spectrometer composed of a cylindrically curved crystal and a filter-absorption method for Bremsstrahlung continuum emission. The absolute sensitivities of the Laue spectrometer systems were calibrated using pre-characterized laser-produced X-ray sources and radioisotopes. The integrated reflectivity for the crystal is in good agreement with predictions by an X-ray diffraction code. The energy transfer efficiency from incident laser beams to hot electrons, as the energy transfer mechanism, is derived from this work. The absolute yield of Au and Ta Kα lines were measured in the fast ignition experimental campaign performed at Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University. Applying the hot electron spectrum information from electron spectrometer and scaling laws, the energy transfer efficiency from the incident LFEX, a kJ-class PW laser, to hot electrons was derived for the first time.  相似文献

Abstract

The generation of ultra-wideband signals in the optical domain is highly desirable for ultra-wideband-over-fiber systems, which has recently become a topic of interest. In this article, a novel and simple approach to achieve all-optical generation of ultra-wideband signals is proposed, which is based on delaying and superimposing optical Gaussian pulses with opposite polarities. The proposed system is capable of generating both ultra-wideband monocycle and doublet pulses, and the polarity of the generated ultra-wideband monocycle pulses can be fast-switched to implement pulse polarity modulation with the required bit pattern. A model to describe the proposed system is developed, and the generation of ultra-wideband signals is demonstrated with simulations and a proof-of-concept experiment.  相似文献

This paper deals with a diffusive toxin producing phytoplankton‐zooplankton model with maturation delay. By analyzing eigenvalues of the characteristic equation associated with delay parameter, the stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation are studied. Explicit results are derived for the properties of bifurcating periodic solutions by means of the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction for partial functional differential equations. Numerical simulations not only agree with the theoretical analysis but also exhibit the complex behaviors such as the period‐3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 solutions, cascade of period‐doubling bifurcation in period‐2, 4, quasi‐periodic solutions, and chaos. The key observation is that time delay may control harmful algae blooms (HABs). Moreover, numerical simulations show that the chaotic states induced by the period‐doubling bifurcation are purely temporal, which is stationary in space and oscillatory in time. The investigations may provide some new insights on harmful phytoplankton blooms.  相似文献

The need for more efficient power cycles has attracted interest in super-critical CO2 (sCO2) cycles. However, the effects of high CO2 dilution on auto-ignition at extremely high pressures has not been studied in depth. As part of the effort to understand oxy-fuel combustion with massive CO2 dilution, we have measured shock tube ignition delay times (IDT) for methane/O2/CO2 mixtures and hydrogen/O2/CO2 mixtures using sidewall pressure and OH* emission near 306?nm. Ignition delay time was measured in two different facilities behind reflected shock waves over a range of temperatures, 1045–1578?K, in different pressures and mixture regimes, i.e., CH4/O2/CO2 mixtures at 27–286 atm and H2/O2/CO2 mixtures at 37–311 atm. The measured data were compared with the predictions of two recent kinetics models. Fair agreement was found between model and experiment over most of the operating conditions studied. For those conditions where kinetic models fail, the current ignition delay time measurements provide useful target data for development and validation of the mechanisms.  相似文献

Bp,qs([-2π, 0]; X)) into X, ut is given by ut(s) = u(t + s) when s ∈ [-2π,0]. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the Lp-well-posedness(resp. B_(p,q)~s-well-posedness)of(P_3) are given in the above two function spaces. We also give concrete examples that our abstract results may be applied.  相似文献
