The thermal analysis of the annular rectangular profile fins with variable thermal properties is investigated by using the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient are assumed to vary with a linear and power-law function of temperature, respectively. The effects of the thermal-geometric fin parameter and the thermal conductivity parameter variations on the temperature distribution and fin efficiency are investigated for different heat transfer modes. Results from the HAM are compared with numerical results of the finite difference method (FDM). It can be seen that the variation of dimensionless parameters has a significant effect on the temperature distribution and fin efficiency.  相似文献

The thermal attributes of porous fin due to radiation and natural convection have been carried out in the presence of nanofluid flow. The geometry of the fin taken for the analysis is rectangular profiled longitudinal fin. The temperature-dependent internal heat generation condition is also considered along with Darcy's model. The two types of nanofluid containing titanium alloy(Ti6Al4V) and aluminium alloy(AA7075) immersed in water is considered for the investigation.The modelled nonlinear ordinary differential equation is numerically solved by the Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg technique. The impact of geometric parameter on the heat transfer analysis of the fin due to the flow of both nanofluids is plotted and consequences are physically interpreted. It is observed that the presence of the water-based titanium alloy better enhances the fin heat transfer rate.  相似文献

将非均匀网格插值方法引入基于Lattice-Bohzmann(LB)方程的d2q9模型,据以模拟二维突扩流,并与LES紊流模型模拟得到的结果进行了比较.结果表明,LB方法与LES模型计算的结果相似,但LB方法计算简单,花费时间也少.因而对于二维突扩流这种复杂流动,用LB方法来模拟较为合适.同时预示了LB方法在河道水流泥沙数值模拟中应用的广阔前景.  相似文献

简单回顾与讨论了在飞行器穿越大气层时,使用气动复合控制方案的必要性与可能性.其中最复杂情况为发动机喷流推力与舵面空气动力共同使用所形成的复合控制.喷流与外流相撞引起的强干扰形成了十分复杂的干扰流场,文中介绍了复杂流动形成的原因、流场结构的特点以及干扰引起的流场改变影响了飞行器性能的预估.基于3种研究途径:理论建模与数值模拟技术、地面试验模拟技术、飞行试验技术的研究,以及它们的发展及互相验证, 用来预估飞行器的性能.为了保证地面模拟与真实飞行之间存在相似关系, 研究相似准则的作用,及分析目前的模拟能力, 涉及到许多空气动力学界至今尚未解决的难题,为了解决这些困难对今后的研究及应用提出了多方面的需求.   相似文献

针对折叠舵面内、外舵铰接处存在的间隙对地面振动响应的影响及间隙处的非线性建模方法展开研究.消除间隙,利用锤击法对线性折叠舵面进行模态实验,得到了前五阶模态参数;打开间隙,进行振动台扫频基础激励,实验结果表明间隙的存在会使结构的动力学响应产生非线性现象,如正反向扫描差异、跳跃、多谐波及频率漂移.非线性的影响主要体现在一阶弯曲模态上,激励量级的增大和间隙的减小均会使基频增大,且逐渐趋向于无间隙的结果,但对第二阶扭转模态的影响与第一阶相比较小.建立了折叠舵面的有限元模型. 提出了一种适用于具有集中非线性的折叠机构的模型缩减方法,并对舵面进行了模态缩减.根据Hertz接触理论,用具有线性和3/2次刚度组合形式的非线性扭转弹簧来模拟铰接处的间隙和接触.通过比较锤击实验与数值计算得到的前四阶频率和振型对模型的线性部分进行验证.通过Bathe两子步隐式复合算法计算基础激励下非线性结构的动力学响应,得到的传递函数可以模拟实验中出现的频率变化特征,验证了连接处非线性建模方法的合理性.   相似文献

Three dimensional numerical studies were performed for laminar heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics of wavy fin heat exchangers with elliptic/circular tubes by body-fitted coordinates system. The simulation results of circular tube were compared with the experiment data, then circular and elliptic (e = b/a = 0.6) arrangements with the same minimum flow cross-sectional area were compared. A max relative heat transfer gain of up to 30% is observed in the elliptic arrangement, and corresponding friction factor only increased by about 10%. The effects of five factors on wavy fin and elliptic tube heat exchangers were examined: Reynolds number (based on the smaller ellipse axis, 500  4000), eccentricity (b/a, 0.6  1.0), fin pitch (Fp/2b, 0.05  0.4), fin thickness (Ft/2b, 0.006  0.04) and tube spanwise pitch (S1/2b, 1.0  2.0). The results show that with the increasing of Reynolds number and fin thickness, decreasing of the eccentricity and spanwise tube pitch, the heat transfer of the finned tube bank are enhanced with some penalty in pressure drop. There is an optimum fin pitch (Fp/2b = 0.1) for heat transfer, but friction factor always decreases with increase of fin pitch. And when Fp/2b is larger than 0.25, it has little effects on heat transfer and pressure drop. The results were also analyzed from the view point of field synergy principle. It was found that the effects of the five factors on the heat transfer performance can be well described by the field synergy principle.  相似文献

With the aid of constructal theory and entransy theory, a Tau-shaped fin (TAUSF) is investigated in this paper, and the widths of the bend end and elemental fins are assumed to be different. The construct of the TAUSF is optimized by the minimum equivalent thermal resistance (ETR) obtained by entransy dissipation rate. The constraints of total enveloping volume and fin material volume are considered. The results show that in the specified range of width ratio, the twice minimum ETR of the TAUSF can be yielded by an optimal width ratio and an optimal length ratio. In addition, comparing the optimal performance of the TAUSF with the counterpart of a T-shaped fin, the former sacrifices a small amount of heat transfer performance and its stiffness increases due to its structure with the bend end. The optimal structure of the TAUSF yielded from ETR minimization is conspicuously different with the counterpart yielded from maximum thermal resistance minimization. Comparing the thermal performances of the two optimal constructs, the ETR of the former optimal construct is declined by 10.58%, whereas the maximum thermal resistance is augmented by 5.22%. The former optimal construct can lead to the uniformity of temperature gradient and the reduction in thermal stress, and can guide the engineering designs of practical fins.  相似文献

In this paper, the general exact implicit solution of the second‐order nonlinear ordinary differential equation governing heat transfer in rectangular fin is obtained using Lie point symmetry method. General relationship among the fin efficiency, the rate of heat transfer from the entire fin, the fin effectiveness, and the thermo‐geometric fin parameter is obtained for any value of the mode of heat transfer n and the constant β. 为研究变角度百叶窗结构对平行流蒸发器换热性能的影响,文中建立了一种均匀角度百叶窗和两种变角度百叶窗的计算模型;采用fluent软件数值模拟了空气侧的传热和流动过程,得到了百叶窗翅片的速度场、温度场及压力场;将数值模拟结果与相关文献实验关联式结果进行对比,验证了数值模拟的可行性,分析了迎面风速对换热和压降特性的影响;并利用公式j/f1/3,比较了三种翅片的综合性能,发现变角度百叶窗翅片综合性能优于均匀角度百叶窗翅片。  相似文献
