Diaminocarboxylic acid carrier ampholytes, such as L-histidine, 2,3-diaminopropionic acid, L-ornithine, and L-lysine, were reacted with glycerol-1,3-diglycidyl ether (GDGE) and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) in the presence of sodium hydroxide to produce hydrolytically and mechanically stable hydrogels, supported on a PVA substrate, for use as buffering membranes in isoelectric trapping (IET) separations. The pH values of the DACAPVA membranes were determined with the help of small-molecule pI markers and proteins and were found to be in the 6 < pH < 8.5 range. The membranes were successfully used to isoelectrically trap small ampholytes, desalt ampholyte solutions in IET mode, and effect the binary separation of chicken egg white proteins.  相似文献

A new ion selective electrode for salicylate based on N,N'-(aminoethyl)ethylenediamide bis(2-salicylideneimine) binuclear copper(Ⅱ) complex [Cu(Ⅱ)2-AEBS] as an ionophore was developed. The electrode has a linear range from 1.0 × 10^-1 to 5.0 ×10^-7 mol·L^- 1 with a near-Nemstian slope of ( - 55 ±1 ) mV/decade and a detection limit of 2.0 × 10-7 mol·L^-1 in phosphorate buffer solution of pH 5.0 at 25 ℃. It shows good selectivity for Sal^- and displays anti-Hofmeister selectivity sequence: Sal^-〉SCN^-〉 ClO4^- 〉I^-〉 NO2^- 〉Br^-〉 NO3^- 〉Cl^-〉 SO3^2- 〉 SO4^2- The proposed sensor based on binuclear copper(Ⅱ)complex has a fast response time of 5-10 s and can be used for at least 2 months without any major deviation. The response mechanism is discussed in view of the alternating current (AC) impedance technique and the UV-vis spectroscopy technique. The effect of the electrode membrane compositions and the experimental conditions were studied. The electrode has been successfully used for the determination of salicylate ion in drug pharmaceutical preparations.  相似文献

A new highly selective silver(I) electrode was prepared with a PVC membrane using 5,10,15-tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole as an electroactive material, 2-nitrophenyl octyl ether (o-NPOE) as a plasticizer and sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTPB) as an additive in the percentage ratio of 3:3:62:32 (corrole:NaTPB:o-NPOE:PVC, w:w). The electrode exhibited linear response with a near Nernstian slope of 54.8 mV/decade within the concentration range of 5.1 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−1 M silver ions, with a working pH range from 4.0 to 8.0, and a fast response time of <30 s. Selectivity coefficients for Ag(I) relative to a number of interfering ions were investigated. The electrode is highly selective for Ag(I) ions over a large number of mono-, bi-, and tri-valent cations. Common interferents like Hg2+ and Cd2+ show very low interfering effect on the silver assay, which is valuable property of the proposed electrode. Several electroactive materials and solvent mediators have been compared and the experimental conditions were optimized. The sensor was applied to the determination of silver in real ore samples with satisfied results.  相似文献

The liquid-phase partial oxidation of propane in the presence of the Fen+/H2O2 Fenton system at 70℃ and 1.4 atm on silica supported Nafion catalysts has been investigated. The reaction proceeds via a radical reaction path the efficiency of which is improved by silica-supported Nafion catalysts. Because of the direct relationship between reaction rate and concentration of sulphonic acid sites of Nafion catalysts, it is inferred that the active phase enahnces the kinetics of propane conversion by promoting the rate of active radicals generation.  相似文献

Capillary gc is now rapidly expanding. Naturally, initiation is most often attempted on the basis of the experience acquired with packed columns. However, such an extrapolation is successful only if a number of essential peculiarities of capillary gc are considered. Based on practical examples this paper discusses six essential details: 1) design and maintenance of the gas flow paths, 2) the greatly increased importance of sampling technique, which should not be confined just to stream splitting, 3) the problems in quantitative analysis arising from small sample size, 4) specific sources of trouble related to small amounts of liquid phase, 5) specific arguments for the choice of the carrier gas, clearly pointing to hydrogen as the ideal carrier and, 6) the different way to approach column production. A technique has been developed for performing headspace GC-MS analysis of volatile components of food, in which the carrier gas flow is reversed during sampling in order to overcome problems caused by the diffusion of substances not retained by the cold trap. Chromatographic profiles of volatile compounds from cheeses, obtained at room temperature, provide confirmation of the validity of the reversed flow technique, and the versatility of the system is evidenced by its successful application to both solid and liquid matrixes: the absence of any discrimination against the various components reveals its efficacy for compounds with a wide range of volatility. Addition of internal standards to the sample enables the use of the technique for quantitative analysis.  相似文献

A novel anion‐selective PVC membrane electrode based on bis‐[(3‐ferrocenyl)‐(2‐crotonic acid)] copper(II) complex [Cu(II)‐BFCA] as neutral carrier is described, which demonstrates excellent potentiometric response characteristics toward thiocyanate ion and anti‐Hofmeister selectivity sequence in following order: SCN?>I?>ClO >Sal?>Br?>NO >Cl?≈NO >SO >SO . The electrode shows a near‐Nernstian response for thiocyanate ion in a wide range of 9.0×10?7–1.0×10?1 M with a detection limit 6.8×10?7 M and a slope of ?59.1 mV/decade in pH 5.0 of phosphate buffer solution at 20 °C. The influences of lipophilic cationic and anionic additives on the response properties of the electrode were investigated. High sensitivity and wide linear dynamic range were observed for the electrode in the presence of hexadecyltrimethylammoniumborate (HTAB) as a lipophilic cationic additive. The electrode was successfully applied to the determination of thiocyanate ion in waste water and human saliva.  相似文献

Thermal decomposition of some hydrocarbon and chlorinated hydrocarbon compounds in metal capillary tubes used in an inlet system for high speed gas chromatography has been investigated. The metal tube is cooled to about ?75°C by a flow of cold nitrogen gas in order to focus a vapor sample cryogenically. A capacitive discharge power supply is then used to heat the metal tube resistively in order to revaporize the sample and introduce it to the separation column as a plug 5-10 ms wide. The effects of tube temperature, tube material, sample vapor residence time, and type of carrier gas on thermal cracking are described. Use of a copper-nickel alloy tube resulted in less cracking than either pure platinum or pure nickel. Cracking is more significant with hydrogen as carrier gas than with helium. Cracking also increases with increasing sample residence time in the hot tube. Quantitative sample injection with minimum decomposition can be obtained for a variety of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbon compounds.  相似文献

A membrane having an amine moiety was prepared by plasma-grafting 2-(N,N-dimethyl)aminoethyl methacrylate (DAMA) onto a microporous polyethylene substrate. Permselectivity of the membrane for CO2 over N2 was achieved in both dry and water swollen conditions. When the CO2 partial pressure in the feed gas was 0.047 atm, the selectivity of CO2 over N2 reached 130 for the highly swollen water containing membrane. This value was found to agree with that obtained with a mobile carrier membrane (supported liquid membrane) using DAMA as the carrier. The effects of several experimental conditions such as degree of grafting, feed partial pressure and temperature on the membrane performance were studied. It was suggested that the membrane acted as a fixed carrier membrane for CO2 facilitated transport in under the dry condition and acted as a fixed reaction site membrane in the water swollen condition. The carrier transport mechanism is discussed for dry and aqueous membranes.  相似文献
