A variety of related impurities, including starting materials, process impurities, and degradation products, can be detected in propofol. In this article, a sensitive and selective GC‐MS/MS method using pulsed splitless injection technique for the determination of 11 main related impurities in propofol in one chromatogram is investigated. This method is extensively validated for its linearity, recovery, precision, LOD, and LOQ, and is able to detect trace‐level related impurities (LOD = 0.2–5.6 μg/g) in propofol bulk drug. Stressed tests proposed that oxidative degradation, photolytic degradation, and heat are the main causes for the formation of degradation products in propofol. 相似文献

The salt resistance, temperature resistance, and shear stability of a cross-linked polyacrylamide microsphere system are studied by microfiltration, light diffraction analysis, and optical microscopy. The results show that other conditions being equal, the particle diameter of cross-linked polyacrylamide microspheres decreases with increased NaCl concentration. When NaCl concentration is lower than 10,000 mg/L, its effect on the plugging performance of a cross-linked polyacrylamide microsphere system in regard to the nuclear pore membrane is weak in comparison with a linked polymer solution, but the former system has better salt tolerance. Particle diameter decreases with increased swelling temperature. When the swelling temperature is below 90°C, its effect on the plugging performance of the cross-linked polyacrylamide microsphere system in regard to nuclear pore membrane is weak in comparison with the linked polymer solution, but has better temperature tolerance. Particle size shows little change, with shearing rate being increased, while the shape remains about the same and the effect of shearing on the plugging performance of the cross-linked polyacrylamide microsphere dispersion system in regard to the nuclear pore membrane is weak in comparison with the linked polymer solution, but has better shear stability. The phase behaviour of a number of N‐alkylimidazolium salts was studied using polarizing optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and X‐ray diffraction. Two of these compounds exhibit lamellar mesophases at temperatures above 50°C. In these systems, the liquid crystalline behaviour may be induced at room temperature by shear. Sheared films of these materials, observed between crossed polarisers, have a morphology that is typical of (wet) liquid foams: they partition into dark domains separated by brighter (birefringent) walls, which are approximately arcs of circle and meet at “Plateau borders” with three or more sides. Where walls meet three at a time, they do so at approximately 120° angles. These patterns coarsen with time and both T1 and T2 processes have been observed, as in foams. The time evolution of domains is also consistent with von Neumann's law. We conjecture that the bright walls are regions of high concentration of defects produced by shear, and that the system is dominated by the interfacial tension between these walls and the uniform domains. The control of self‐organised monodomains, as observed in these systems, is expected to play an important role in potential applications. 相似文献

This Letter aimed to develop an efficient method for the determination of cyanide ion (CN−). A novel colorimetric chemosensor 4-[(1E)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethenyl]-1-allylpyridinium bromide (HPEAPB) was synthesized. HPEAPB displayed good selectivity toward CN− over other competing anions in ethanol. A color change from yellow to red was immediately observed upon the addition of CN− and the limit of detection (LOD) was 3.4 × 10−6 mol L−1. The sensing mechanism was discussed by UV–vis, 1H NMR titration, and a comparison study. Colorimetric test paper for CN− was prepared by attaching HPEAPB to a chromatography paper, which could be used to detect CN− in environmental samples as simply as a pH-indicator paper for pH value. The LOD of the test paper for CN− was 2.0 × 10−4 mol L−1. This detection method for CN− has potential applications in cyanide ion containing fields by combination of rapid and real-time advantages. 相似文献

The toxicity of phosgene (COCl2) combined with its extensive use as a reactant and building block in the chemical industry make its fast and accurate detection a prerequisite. We have developed a carboxylic derivative of 5,6-pinenepyridine which is able to act as colorimetric and fluorimetric sensor for phosgene in air and solution. For the first time, the formation of a pyrido-[2,1-a]isoindolone was used for this purpose. In solution, the sensing reaction is extremely fast (under 5 s), selective and highly sensitive, with a limit of detection (LOD) of 9.7 nM/0.8 ppb. When fixed on a solid support, the sensor is able to detect the presence of gaseous phosgene down to concentrations of 0.1 ppm, one of the lowest values reported to date. 相似文献
