Wood has been treated with guanidine phosphate, guanidine nitrate, guanidine carbonate and guanidine chloride to impart flame retardancy. The samples were subjected to differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetry (TG) from ambient temperature to 800°C in air to study their thermal behaviors. From the resulting data, kinetic parameters for different stages of thermal degradation were obtained following the method of Broido. For the decomposition of wood and flame retardant wood, the activation energy was found to decrease from 116 to 54 kJ mol–1; the char yield was found to increase from 5.6 to 34.9%, LOI from 18 to 41.5, which indicated that the flame retardancy of treated wood was improved. Effects of the different compounds on the degradation and flammability of wood have also been proposed.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The flame retardancy of bisphenol A polycarbonate (PC) containing potassium diphenylsulfone sulfonate (KSS), poly(aminopropyl/phenylsilsesquioxane) (PAPSQ) and poly(vinylidenefluoride) (PVDF) was measured by limited oxygen index (LOI) and examined according to UL94. A high LOI and UL94 V-0 rating for 1.6 mm thickness samples were obtained by a combined use of equivalent KSS, PAPSQ and PVDF at 0.1-0.3 wt% loading, respectively. The improvement in flame retardancy of PC compositions arose from the synergistic interaction of three additives. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) indicated that the combination decreased the activation energy (E) of PC degradation and elevated the thermal degradation rate of PC to ensure the formation of an insulating carbon layer. FTIR analysis showed that the LOI char of PC containing the three additives took on a highly cross-linking aromatic ester and ether structure.  相似文献

The effect of the biomass presence on the overall circulation velocity, the linear velocities both in the riser and the downcomer and the overall gas hold-up was studied in a three-phase internal loop airlift reactor (ILALR). The measured data were compared with those obtained using a two-phase system (air—water). All experiments were carried out in a 40 dm3 ILALR at six different biomass concentrations (ranging from 0 g dm−3 to 7.5 g dm−3), at a temperature of 30°C, under atmospheric pressure. Air and water were used as the gas and liquid model media, respectively. Pellets of Aspergillus niger produced during the fermentation of glucose to gluconic acid in the ILALR were considered solid phase. In addition, liquid velocities were measured during the fermentation of glucose to gluconic acid using Aspergillus niger. All measurements were performed in a bubble circulation regime. At given experimental conditions the effect of the biomass on the circulation velocities in the ILALR was negligible. However, increasing of the biomass concentration led to lower values of the total gas hold-up. In most cases the energy dissipated in plasma jets used either,for heating or spraying is varied by changing the are current, the total gas floc+rate, and composition. However, when doing so, conditions are reached where the plasma jet may become supersonic. To predict such conditions or to characterize supersonic plasma jets the knowledge of the sound velocitya is mandatory The goal of this paper is to calculatea versus plasma forming gas composition, temperature, and pressure. Rigorous calculation would imply the knowledge of the chemical reaction kinetics, sound velocity depending strongly on this. Unfortunately such kinetics are generally lolknown for plasma jet floras and the only possibility is to determine the equilibrium sound velocitya calculated through the isentropic coefficient T. This coefficient has been calculated taking into account the dissociation and ionization reactions at equilibrium for temperatures ranging from 300 to 25,000 K and pressures between 0.1 and 1 Mpa for Ar, H2, He, Ar-He, Ar-H2, O2, N2, air, .steam, and methane.a often called the frozen sound velocity, was also calculated using (ratio of specific heats) instead of .  相似文献

描述了采用密胺树脂和硼酸锌连续双层包覆微胶囊化红磷(MRP)的最新制备方法。采用红外光谱、电子能谱和透射电镜等分析手段对其进行了表征,并证实红磷已被完全包覆。实验数据表明:经包覆的MRP的热稳定性获得了明显改善,吸水率和磷化氢的发生量均大大减少。MRP作为阻燃助剂应用于聚烯烃阻燃材料表现出了良好的阻燃效果。实时红外和热失重测量以及扫描电镜观察表明:其阻燃机制是红磷受热时与树脂反应促进了含磷膨胀炭层的形成,从而提高了材料的热稳定性,碳层起到了隔氧、隔热作用,而且主要在凝聚相中发挥其阻燃作用。  相似文献

选用27种三维结构性质描述符对脑血分配系数预测建立神经网络模型.网络模型选用典型的适合函数逼近的两层结构神经网络对脑血分配系数(lgBB,BB为脑血浓度比)进行预测,计算中采用的模型具有一个双曲正切型激活函数的隐含层和一个线性激活函数的输出层.计算表明,使用小心选择的反向传播神经网络模型对化合物脑血分配系数具有较好的预测能力.  相似文献

Thirteen phosphorus-containing flame retardants were synthesized in this work. The solubilities of flame retardant [(6-oxide-6H-dibenz[c,e][1,2]oxaphosphorin-6-yl)-methyl]-butanedioic acid (DDP) in selected solvents are measured. TGA measurements of the 13 phosphorus-containing flame retardants were carried out and thermal stabilities of three flame-resistant PET (FRPET) resins were investigated. A FRPET incorporated by DDP with terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol reported in literature was also discussed and compared. The thermal stability of the FRPET is improved by the incorporation of phosphorus-containing flame retardants. The LOI values of all phosphorus-containing polyesters are higher than 27%. The improvement of the flame-resistant ability is due to the formation of the char that is not only caused by the existence of phosphorus elements in the resin but also by the relative large number of carbon atoms of the phenyl group in the flame retardants.  相似文献

A novel modification of a hydrogen-atmosphere flamo ionization detector (HAFID) is presented which attenuates response to hydrocarbon compounds, significantly enhancing selectivity towards organometallic compounds by more than an order of magnitude. Chromatograms of an organometallic compound test mixture and regular leaded gasoline are presented to depict the specificity of the response.  相似文献
