In this paper, the calculated values of the viscosity and thermal conductivity of nitrogen plasma are presented taking into account five (e, N, N+, N2 and N2+) or eight (e, N(4S), N(2P), N(2D), N(R), N+, N2 and N2+) species. The calculations are based on the supposition that the temperature dependent probability of occupation of the states is given by the Boltzmann factor. The domain for which the calculations are performed, is for p = 1 and 10 atm in the temperature range from 5,000 K to 15,000 K. Classical collision integrals are used in calculating the transport coefficients and we have introduced new averaged collision integrals where the weight associated at each interacting species pair is the probable collision frequency. The influence of the collision integral values and energy transfer between two different species is studied. These results are compared which those of published theoretical studies.  相似文献

Electric conductivity, Raman spectra, and thermal expansion of La0.88Sr0.12Ga0.82Mg0.18O2.85 solid solution (LSGM1218) based on lanthanum gallate were studied at various temperatures, and Xray phase analysis was performed at room temperature. Dilatometric measurements showed that secondorder phase transitions occur at 775±10$ and 880± 20 K. The transition around 880 K is confirmed by Raman spectra and by a change in the conductivity activation energy in this temperature range. This transition is associated with a symmetry change in the oxygen sublattice.  相似文献

The dialysis potentials of different collodion membranes with graded pore sizes and electrochemical activities have been measured in dilute aqueous KCl solutions as functions of concentration. It is possible to predict the value of the diffusion potential within a few millivolts on the basis of electrical conductivity data obtained with the same membranes. In general, the measured values are lower than those calculated. It is assumed that this difference is caused by the membranes having a distribution of pore sizes.  相似文献

Solvothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure Determination of AgBiI4 and Ag3BiI6 AgBiI4 and Ag3BiI6 were synthesized by solvothermal reaction from AgI and BiI3 in diluted HI‐solution (20 %) at a temperature of 160 °C. The greyish‐black crystals grow as octahedra (AgBiI4) or hexagonal/trigonal platelets (Ag3BiI6). AgBiI4 crystallizes in space group Fd3¯m with a = 1222.3(1) pm (300 K) and Z = 8 whereas Ag3BiI6 shows the space group R3¯m with a = 435.37(6) pm, c = 2081.0(4) pm (300 K) and Z = 1. Both crystal structures show stacking sequence abcabc… of hexagonal layers containing Iodine. Bismuth and silver are sharing octahedral sites with different mass ratio in both structures. The part of silver which could be localized varies with temperature. This behaviour indicates mobility of silver within the crystal structure. The ionic conductivity of AgBiI4 is explored. AgBiI4 and Ag3BiI6 show close structural relationship, with AgBiI4 as a variant with a higher degree of order.  相似文献

In the ESR spectra recorded at the beginning of the doping reaction of C60 fullerene by zinc, gallium, and indium vapors, signals corresponding to C60 were observed. In the course of reduction, these signals disappeared and reversibly transformed into the signals of higher charged C60 n− anions. Conductivity measurements of oxalic acid and neutral oxalates (disodium oxalate, dipotassium oxalate, dicesium, and diammonium oxalate) were performed on dilute aqueous solutions, c < 3 × 10–3 mol-dm–3, from 5 to 35°C. These data and those available from the literature were analyzed in terms of dissociation steps of oxalic acid, the Onsager conductivity equation for neutral oxalates, the Quint–Viallard conductivity equation for the acid, and the Debye–Hückel equation for activity coefficients, to give the limiting equivalent conductances of bioxalate anion ;(HC2O4 ) and oxalate anion (1/2C2O4 2–) and the corresponding dissociation constants K 1 and K 2.  相似文献

The popularity of contactless conductivity detection in capillary electrophoresis has been growing steadily over the last few years. Improvements have been made in the design of the detector in order to facilitate its handling, to allow easy incorporation into available instruments or to achieve higher sensitivity. The understanding of its fundamental working principles has been advanced and the detection approach has also been transferred to lab‐on‐chip devices. The range of applications has been extended greatly from the initial work on small inorganic ions to include organic species and biomolecules. Concurrent determination of cations and anions by dual injection from opposite ends has been demonstrated as well as sample introduction by using flow‐injection systems for easy automation of the process.  相似文献

The perchlorate anion (ClO 4 ) is an anthropogenic contaminant of increasing concern in water supplies, and has been shown to disrupt thyroid activity. Most perchlorate analyses are currently carried out by ion chromatography (IC) with suppressed conductivity detection (SCD). While this procedure has been demonstrated to provide acceptable performance for analysis of water samples, the determination of perchlorate in high-conductivity aqueous extracts of plant or animal material is not readily accomplished by IC-SCD unless lengthy cleanup protocols are applied. With the addition of electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) to IC, it was hypothesized that the interference imposed by various ionic species could be significantly reduced without the need for purification; however, the analysis of perchlorate in relatively unpurified extracts of biologically derived homogenates by IC-ESI-MS has not previously been described in the literature. The research presented here represents a comparison of the capabilities of IC-SCD and IC-ESI-MS to detect perchlorate in reagent water and in crude extracts of perchlorate-exposed fish (threespine stickleback, Gasterosteus aculeatus). ESI-MS was found to compare favorably to SCD for the detection of perchlorate in deionized water, and to exceed SCD performance in perchlorate analysis of fish-derived extracts.  相似文献
