K-强凸空间的一些性质

结合Banach空间的Drop性，利用K维体积给出了K—强凸空间的一个新的定义，同时也给出了K—强光滑空间定义的K维体积表示，然后利用单位圆的切片证明了K—强凸空间是自反空间，进而证明了K—强凸空间与K—强光滑空间是一对对偶空间．最后利用Drop性的切片描述证明了K—强凸空间具有Drop性．     

Observation on meta-stability of thulium nitrate crystal by using electric measurements

Frequency dependence of ac conductivity from 1 to 10⁵ Hz and time series of the conductivity at 2 kHz were measured along c-axis of thulium nitrate crystal, Tm(NO₃)₃6H₂O at temperatures from 203.15 to 293.15 K. The meta-stability was observed. The frequency spectra of the conductivity were similar to those in disorder system. Aging effect was observed. Non-periodic instability (burst) was found. Non-linear dynamical property was characterized by 1/f noise spectrum, limit cycle in return map and dependence of correlation exponent on embedding dimension.     

向列液晶表面弹性能K13项的物理效应及检验方法

通过解析推导和数值计算的方法，得到了平衡态指向矢满足的微分方程和边界条件.研究了表面弹性能K13项对磁场作用下的弱锚定向列液晶盒Fréedericksz转变性质的影响.结果表明，表面弹性能K13项的存在对液晶系统的自由能有很大的影响，从而改变转变的性质，诱导液晶盒在阈值点发生一级Fréedericksz转变.给出了发生一级转变的物理条件，它除了与液晶的结构和材料有关外，还依赖于液晶表面弹性能K13项，同时给出了由此判断K13项是否存在的检验方法. 关键词： 表面弹性能K13项 弱锚定 Fréedericksz转变     

Approximating weak Chebyshev subspaces by Chebyshev subspaces

We examine to what extent finite-dimensional spaces defined on locally compact subsets of the line and possessing various weak Chebyshev properties (involving sign changes, zeros, alternation of best approximations, and peak points) can be uniformly approximated by a sequence of spaces having related properties.     

Lattice mechanical properties of some fcc f-shell metals

A pseudopotential depending on an effective core radius is proposed to study the binding energy, equation of state, ion-ion interaction, phonon dispersion curves (q-space and r-space analysis), mode Grüneisen parameters and dynamical elastic constants of some fcc f-shell metals La, Yb, Ce and Th. The contribution of the s-like electrons is calculated in the second-order perturbation theory for the potential while d and f-like electron is taken into account by introducing repulsive short-range Born-Mayer term. The parameter of the potential is evaluated by zero pressure condition. An excellent agreement between theoretical investigations and experimental findings is achieved which confirms the present formalism     

Duality Theory in Fuzzy Linear Programming Problems with Fuzzy Coefficients

The concept of fuzzy scalar (inner) product that will be used in the fuzzy objective and inequality constraints of the fuzzy primal and dual linear programming problems with fuzzy coefficients is proposed in this paper. We also introduce a solution concept that is essentially similar to the notion of Pareto optimal solution in the multiobjective programming problems by imposing a partial ordering on the set of all fuzzy numbers. We then prove the weak and strong duality theorems for fuzzy linear programming problems with fuzzy coefficients.     

Nonlinear Energy Transfer over the Wave Spectrum in Water Covered by Solid Ice

On the basis of the hydrodynamic equations for nonlinear elastic-gravity waves beneath a solid ice cover and their Hamiltonian representation, a three-wave kinetic equation for the time evolution of the wave spectrum is formulated. The properties of the kernel of the kinetic integral describing the nonlinear interactions between wave triplets are investigated. An algorithm for numerically calculating the kinetic integral is developed. The rate of nonlinear energy transfer over the wave spectrum is estimated quantitatively and its most important characteristics are found.

Specific heat and related thermophysical properties of liquid Fe-Cu-Mo alloy

The specific heat and related thermophysical properties of liquid Fe77.5Cu13Mo9.5 monotectic alloy were investigated by an electromagnetic levitation drop calorimeter over a wide temperature range from 1482 to 1818 K. A maximum undercooling of 221 K (0.13 Tm) was achieved and the specific heat was determined as 44.71 J·mol-1·K-1. The excess specific heat, enthalpy change, entropy change and Gibbs free energy difference of this alloy were calculated on the basis of experimental results. It was found that the calculated results by traditional estimating methods can only describe the solidification process under low undercooling conditions. Only the experimental results can reflect the reality under high undercooling conditions. Meanwhile, the thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity, and sound speed were derived from the present experimental results. Furthermore, the solidified microstructural morphology was examined, which consists of (Fe) and (Cu) phases. The calculated interface energy was applied to exploring the correlation between competitive nucleation and solidification microstructure within monotectic alloy.     

Ab-initio simulation of elastic constants for some ceramic materials

Athermal elasticity for some ceramic materials (α-Al₂O₃, SiC (α and β phases), TiO₂ (rutile and anatase), hexagonal AlN and TiB₂, cubic BN and CaF₂, and monoclinic ZrO₂) have been investigated via density functional theory. Energy-volume equation-of-state computations to obtain the zero pressure equilibrium volume and bulk modulus as well as computations of the full elastic constant tensor of these ceramics at the experimental zero pressure volume have been performed. The present results for the single crystal elasticity are in good agreement with experiments both for the aggregate properties (bulk and shear modulus) and the elastic anisotropy. In contrast, a considerable discrepancy for the zero pressure bulk modulus of some ceramics evaluated from the energy-volume fit to the computational zero pressure volume has been observed.
