Two-phase air–water flow and heat transfer in a 25 mm internal diameter horizontal pipe were investigated experimentally. The water superficial velocity varied from 24.2 m/s to 41.5 m/s and the air superficial velocity varied from 0.02 m/s to 0.09 m/s. The aim of the study was to determine the heat transfer coefficient and its connection to flow pattern and liquid film thickness. The flow patterns were visualized using a high speed video camera, and the film thickness was measured by the conductive tomography technique. The heat transfer coefficient was calculated from the temperature measurements using the infrared thermography method. It was found that the heat transfer coefficient at the bottom of the pipe is up to three times higher than that at the top, and becomes more uniform around the pipe for higher air flow-rates. Correlations on local and average Nusselt number were obtained and compared to results reported in the literature. The behavior of local heat transfer coefficient was analyzed and the role of film thickness and flow pattern was clarified. 相似文献

散斑在光学干涉计量中被用作信息载体,但同时它也是严重的噪声。介绍了一种简单有效的滤除散斑噪声的方法,即在加窗富里叶变换域内进行掩模和阈值处理。同富里叶变换和正交小波变换相比,加窗富里叶变换有如下两方面的优点:加窗富里叶基和条纹的高度相似性使得信号与噪声容易分离,而加窗富里叶变换的冗余性则可削弱掩模和阈值处理对信号谱的破坏。此方法的有效性由数值模拟和实验的例子证实。此方法亦可滤除强度型条纹或位相型条纹中其它类型的噪声,如加型噪声。 相似文献

采用瞬态阴影技术和激光消光技术对激波卷扬粉尘的现象进行了实验研究,理论研究采用PSIC(ParticleSourceinCell)模型,模型同时考虑了湍流效应及气固两相间的输运效应。结果表明,激波卷扬的粉尘颗粒在壁面附近湍流区内先被加速,一定高度后减速,从而在边界层内形成一个高颗粒浓度的区域。数值结果与实验结果基本一致。 相似文献

The objectives of this research were to characterise the clay minerals composition of soil-derived dust in Northern China and to set up a mineralogical signature to trace their origin. Mineral composition of aerosol particles was investigated at Aksu, Dunhuang, Yulin, Tongliao and Changwu during an intensive field campaign period of ACE-Asia. The results show that the kaolinite (K) to chlorite (C) ratio is sensitive to the regional origin of Asian dust. Western source areas (represented by Aksu) displayed the lowest K/C ratio of 0.3 (average), while it was found to increase up to 0.70 (average) upon moving towards northern source areas (represented by Yulin). By studying transported dust in a deposition area representative of the Chinese Loess Plateau, the usefulness of the K/C ratio, when associated with back air-mass trajectories, was found to lie in revealing the origin of the dust. Comparison of the mineralogical data between Asian dust and Sahara dust, shows that the K/C ratio is also an effective signature to identify the source areas on a hemisphere scale. 相似文献

We propose a continuum model for the evolution of the total dislocation densities in fcc crystals, in the framework of rate-independent plasticity. The basic physical features which are taken into account are: (i) the role of dislocations in hardening; (ii) the relations between the slip velocity and dislocation mobility; (iii) the energetics of self and mutual interactions between dislocations; (iv) nonlocal effects in the interaction between dislocations. A set of reaction–diffusion equations is obtained, with mobilities depending on the slip velocities, which is able to describe the formation of dislocation walls and cells. To this effect, the results of numerical simulations in two special cases are presented.

In this paper, we analyzed the dynamic properties of a simple walking model of a biped robot driven by a rhythmic signal from
an oscillator. The oscillator receives no sensory feedback and the rhythmic signal is an open loop. The simple model consists
of a hip and two legs that are connected at the hip. The leg motion is generated by a rhythmic signal. In particular, we analytically
examined the stability of a periodic walking motion. We obtained approximate periodic solutions and the Jacobian matrix of
a Poincaré map by the power-series expansion using a small parameter. Although the analysis was inconclusive when we used
only the first order expansion, by employing the second order expansion it clarified the stability, revealing that the periodic
walking motion is asymptotically stable and the simple model possesses self-stability as an inherent dynamic characteristic
in walking. We also clarified the stability region with respect to model parameters such as mass ratio and walking speed. 相似文献
