On sign-changing solutions for nonlinear operator equations

In this paper, the existence of sign-changing solutions for nonlinear operator equations is discussed by using the topological degree and fixed point index theory. The main theorems are some new three-solution theorems which are different from the famous Amann's and Leggett-Williams' three-solution theorems as well as the results in [F. Li, G. Han, Generalization for Amann's and Leggett-Williams' three-solution theorems and applications, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 298 (2004) 638-654]. These three solutions are all nonzero. One of them is positive, another is negative, and the third one is a sign-changing solution. Furthermore, the theoretical results are successfully applied to both integral and differential equations.     

Isoperiodic deformations of the acoustic operator and periodic solutions of the Harry Dym equation

We consider the problem of describing the possible spectra of an acoustic operator with a periodic finite-gap density. On the moduli space of algebraic Riemann surfaces, we construct flows that preserve the periods of the corresponding operator. Even the first iterate of a Markov operator is contracting in anL 2 norm

A weightedL ₂ norm is introduced in which Markov operators, e.g., associated with noisy maps, are contracting provided the kernel (i.e., the transitional distribution) is smooth enough. This results in strong relaxational properties of noisy maps. Similar to this norm, integral functionals appear useful when studying spatiotemporal chaos and random fields.     

Integrable Noncommutative Equations on Quad-graphs. The Consistency Approach

We extend integrable systems on quad-graphs, such as the Hirota equation and the cross-ratio equation, to the noncommutative context, when the fields take values in an arbitrary associative algebra. We demonstrate that the three-dimensional consistency property remains valid in this case. We derive the noncommutative zero curvature representations for these systems, based on the latter property. Quantum systems with their quantum zero curvature representations are particular cases of the general noncommutative ones.     

Some properties of complete congruence lattices

For a complete lattice C, we consider the problem of establishing when the complete lattice of complete congruence relations on C is a complete sublattice of the complete lattices of join- or meet-complete congruence relations on C. We first argue that this problem is not trivial, and then we show that it admits an affirmative answer whenever C is continuous for the join case and, dually, co-continuous for the meet case. As a consequence, we prove that if C is continuous then each principal filter generated by a continuous complete congruence on C is pseudocomplemented. Quasiconformal groups, Patterson-Sullivan theory, and local analysis of limit sets

We extend the part of Patterson-Sullivan theory to discrete quasiconformal groups that relates the exponent of convergence of the Poincaré series to the Hausdorff dimension of the limit set. In doing so we define new bi-Lipschitz invariants that localize both the exponent of convergence and the Hausdorff dimension. We find these invariants help to expose and explain the discrepancy between the conformal and quasiconformal setting of Patterson-Sullivan theory.

     

求解不可导方程的修正牛顿迭代及其在Banach空间中的收敛性

为了解决不可导方程的求根问题以及在实际应用方面的考虑，在韩丹夫一文收敛条件的基础上，提出了用修正的牛顿方法来解决不可导方程的求根问题，并且用优序列方法给出了收敛性理论，由于方程本身的限制，所得到的结果是线性收敛的．     

非自伴Dirac算子的迹公式

本文研究了非自伴Dirac算子的一般两点边值问题的渐近迹,首先运用平移算子得到了其Cauchy问题解的渐近式,并由此及边界条件,构造了整函数ω(λ),利用它将边界条件分为八种基本类型,最后采用留数的方法,得到了四种主要类型的特征值的渐近迹公式。
